Abstract: This research aims to answer the research gap of previous TAM research, as the factors affecting interest in using e-money on millennials by using 2 aspects of the TAM (ease and usefulness) with promotion and risk of use. This research applied causal-comparative to quantitative research methods. The results imply that: 1) The higher the ease of use of e-money, the higher the interest of millennials in using e-money; 2) Millennials have perceived the benefits from using e-money in transactions which certainly encourages the interest on using it; 3) The more intense the promotion carried out by the publisher, the millennials will be more likely to experience the promotion, so that it can encourage the interest in using e-money; 4) Millennials tend to prioritize the benefits than the risks of using e-money.

Few studies in the literature on electronic commerce provide empirical investigation of consumer behavior in the international online shopping context. This study identifies and discusses factors that influence international online purchases and profile the characteristics of those who purchase and those who do not purchase from online stores overseas in three main categories: the online shopping experiential factors, the international shopping motivational factors, and the international trust attitudinal factors. The international online shoppers tend to highly trust foreign vendors and have high preference of and confidence in online shopping. More importantly, these shoppers are knowledge of shopping sites' hosting countries and strongly believe in those sites' global propensity. The paper makes contributions towards new knowledge and understanding of how international online shoppers differ from non-shoppers.

Customer attitudes toward online purchasing behavior have relied on various factors, such as product category, price, and brand name awareness of the store. Customer attitudes toward online shopping are also greatly affected by the inherent limitation of virtual shopping: quality is not easily judged on the Web, particularly for products which the Web cannot deliver sensory experiences. The purpose of this study is to examine customer attitudes toward an online store that sells “look-and-feel” products with various qualities[1] that appear to grow and receive increased attention. In particular, the author investigated i) the factors affecting customer attitudes toward the online grocery store; ii) how those factors affected the perceived ease of use (EOU) and usefulness (U); and iii) the effects of the perceived ease of use (EOU) and usefulness (U) on overall expected customer satisfaction toward the online grocery store. Surveys were conducted and the major findings suggest that customers’ purchase decisions in the electronic marketplace are affected by how online stores apply strategies to maximize customer satisfaction. Furthermore, this study provides managerial implications and offers suggestions for e-businesses.

This research aims to identify the factors affecting the adoption of Facebook commerce, in specific the adopted Facebook advertisements for both small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and how this contributes to enhancing such SMEs’ organizational performances. Specifically, ease of use, demographic targeting, interaction, and brand awareness are regarded as the key factors that can influence Facebook’s advertisements adoption. However, three organizational performance dimensions (efficiency, flexibility, and responsiveness) are considered to be the most significant areas of focus in this research. In this study, both the quantitative research approach and the descriptive research design were employed. Data were collected from different SMEs in Muscat and Dhofar in Oman, and the total valid questionnaires suitable for analysis reached 342. The participants were primarily from those who publicize their services through Facebook. Many statistical techniques including exploratory, confirmatory, and structural equation modeling have been adopted in this study; meanwhile, the quantitative data were analyzed using SPSS 25 and AMOS 25 softwares. The findings of this study suggested that the ease of use, demographic targeting, interaction, and brand awareness interpreted 20% of the variance in the Facebook advertisements as the dependent variable. However, Facebook advertisements as an independent variable were found to have a statistically significant effect on the SMEs’ performance dimensions (efficiency, flexibility, and responsiveness) with standard regressions of 0.66, 0.51, and 0.74, respectively, thereby explaining 44% of the variance in the efficiency, 26% of the variance in the flexibility, and 55% of the variance in the responsiveness. Regarding the researchers’ knowledge, this research stands out as the first research to highlight SMEs that measure statistically the relationship between the organizational performance dimensions and Facebook advertising as key social media tools within a unique context—such as Oman as an example of developing countries.
