scholarly journals Fabrication of Wireless Remote Controlled Electric Lawn Mower

Pollution is considered as an important problem in the present world. Usage of Gas Lawn-mowers creates Noise and Smoke pollution which is harmful to the environment. So the replacement of Gas mowers with the Electric lawn mowers which runs by Electric motors will be the better solution. The design objective is to build an electric lawn mower which is controlled by using a micro-controller called NodeMCU. The micro-controller is connected wirelessly to the mobile phone through Wi-Fi. The use of IoT (Internet of Things) in this lawn mower plays a major role. The whole model is controlled with the mobile application. We use a total of three controls in the application which is used to control the movements of the geared motors. Two of these controls are used for the motion of the lawn mower, and the third controls the cutting motor. The speed of all these motion motors can be controlled since analog outputs are obtained from the NodeMCU. Here, human effort is less. Compared to the gas mower, the electric mower has a less pollution rate.

Abstract Miniature Circuit Breaker (MCB) is an electro-magnetic device designed to cut off the circuit when an overcurrent occurs. This MCB system is essential in many fields that involved with electric and commonly found in industry, it will protect the electric component in the circuit from short circuit. The Internet of Things (IoT) technology is a new profound technology which will lead to a better and easy lifestyle world. One of the benefits of IoT system is the worker can monitor their work from home. With this new and promising technology, most of the work can be done at home by using mobile phone or a computer. As the title of the project presented, the project developed a microcontroller to monitor the MCB using the technology of the Blynk as the IoT platform. The system will send a message to the user to inform about the trips through a mobile phone by the Blynk application. At the same time, the alternating current (AC) of the MCB is record and graph at the mobile application.

These days, the use of Internet technology can be found in almost every sector of human life. One of the advanced Internet technologies is Internet of Things (IoT), that is a technology where devices can communicate via Internet connectivity. It is used in many vital industries like automotive, electricity, home automation, and healthcare. This study aims to implement IoT technology for healthcare sector, i.e. in helping obesity people to pursue their weight-loss program (WLP). The result is a system which consists of a smart weight scale, a mobile application, and food menu recommendation database in order to help obesity people in their WLP program. A trial to some obesity patients is performed to collect data. Index Terms—Internet of things; overweight; weight loss program; food recommendation

There are numerous levers and constraints affecting the sustainability of electric motors. While previous work mostly focuses on individual energy and resource efficiency potentials within single phases of the motor’s lifecycle, this paper summarizes sustainability aspects from three different perspectives, namely from the market, product and process view. The first part of this paper analyzes the electric motor market to emphasize the significance of this industry and to outline the importance of state-regulated efficiency classes. The second part provides an overview of the range of electric motor types and their sustainability characteristics. The third part contains an analysis of manufacturing processes in terms of energy and resource efficiency by pointing out appropriate key figures and optimization approaches. In doing so, the connection of the three perspectives market, product and processes offers a holistic view on sustainability aspects of electric motors.

Studies of the Massachusetts communities of Newburyport and Boston have revealed a high rate of geographical mobility for their populations, in excess of what had been previously thought. Because of the difficulty in tracing out-migrants these works have concentrated on persisters, though to do so is to give an incomplete picture of communal progress. Peter R. Knights in his study of Boston between 1830 and 1860 attempted to follow his out-migrants but was only able to trace some 27 per cent of them. The problem of out-migration is generally regarded as being too large for solution through human effort, but important enough now to engage the computer. What follows bears on the subject of out-migration, for it is an analysis of where part of the migrating populations of the east went in the third quarter of the nineteenth century, namely to San Francisco.

Two recent books try to redefine the economic and financial systems bringing them back to documents (Ferraris) and to instinctive drives (Mazzarella). This essay reviews some of the most important novels of the third millennium about entrepreneurs to test the cogency of these concepts. From American Pastoral by Philip Roth to Beautiful You by Chuck Palahniuk, from The Human Resources Manager by Abraham Yehoshua to Zero K by Don DeLillo, the essay describes the present world as a society of wasted desire and the life of the company as a constant search for meaning.

<span>At the moment, all observed forms of communication are reduced either to a person-to-person scheme or person-to-device. But the Internet of Things (IoT) offers us a tremendous Internet future, in which will appear the communication type machine-machine (M2M). This makes it possible to integrate all communications into a common infrastructure, allowing not only to manage everything that is around us but also providing information about the state of these things. The purpose of this paper is to create the client part of the client-server system for remote control of home appliances using cloud services through commands entered using handwritten words. For this, we develop algorithms and methods for handwriting recognition using neural networks and implement a mobile application on the Android platform, which allows remote control of devices via cloud services based on commands entered using handwritten words. Anyway, this article will give a good understanding to other researchers who want to start their research on the IoT and will contribute to the effective accumulation of knowledge.</span>

This research was intended to find out kinds of students difficulties in translating narrative text from English into Indonesia of SMP Negeri 9 Pematangsiantar. Therefore, the researcher formulated a question as the problem. As follows: “What are the students difficulties in translating narrative text from English into Indonesia of SMP Negeri 9 Pematangsiantar?” The researcher was used qualitative design. To answer the problem, the researcher used grade eight students of SMP Negeri 9 Pematangsiantar as the population and used 31 students as the sample, they were VIII-1. The instrument of the research of this research was narrative text. The data were collected by using record video of mobile phone then to be analyzed the result of students’ translation and correction. The research finding showed that students were difficulties in translating narrative text from English into Indonesia. The highest number of students’ difficulty is tense (32%). The second most difficulties faced by students is sentence (25,4%). The third difficulty is phrase (16,6%). The fourth is clause (15,4%). The fifth difficulty is attribute (8,2%). And the last is indefinite article (2,4%). It can be conclude that students have difficulties in translating narrative text from English into Indonesia is tense, not sentence, phrase, clause, attribute, and article indefinite.

Objective: Otitis media with effusion (OME) is the most common cause of hearing loss in children. Early diagnosis is important as hearing loss affects speech and language development in children. The aim of this study was to compare conventional audiometry with the Android mobile operating system application Hearing TestTM in the evaluation of hearing thresholds in children with OME and to determine the accuracy and reliability of the mobile application. Design and Study Sample: Fifty school-age children aged between 5 and 15 years with OME in at least 1 ear were included in the study. First, hearing thresholds were obtained by conventional audiometric methods and the degree of hearing loss was determined. Then, the hearing thresholds of the patients were measured using the smartphone-based Hearing TestTM application. The data were compared using Cohen’s kappa analysis. Results: OME was detected in 88 ears. There was no statistically significant correlation between the hearing threshold results obtained with the mobile phone and conventional audiometry at 500, 1,000, 2,000, and 4,000 Hz. Conclusion: The Android mobile phone application Hearing TestTM (version 1.1.3) is not an appropriate screening test to detect hearing loss in children with OME.
