Rotary Kiln as a pyroprocessing device is used to raise the temperature of the material to a high temperature (calcination) in a continuous process. By looking at the constraints on PT. Meratus Jaya Iron & Steel, whose production machines often have breakdowns, is a fundamental reason for researchers to increase the reliability level of PT. Meratus Jaya Iron & Steel. The research was conducted on the Rotary Kiln Machine made in Germany which plays a high enough role in the company. The method used is the Reliability with Mean Time to Repair Method (MTTR). From the results of calculations of Reliability with MTTR on Rotary Kiln A is Reliability at the time of 296 hours operation results obtained by 0.5371 and MTTR 537.7732. The higher the reliability value, the better the machine used in the operation process.

XYZ is a company engaged in the production of iron ore into semi-finished products (Iron Reduction). The machine company has a very important and vital role to support the production process. Rotary Kiln is a place where iron ore reduction occurs, the result of which is called an iron reduction kiln or commonly known as sponge iron. By looking at the constraints at PT. XYZ on its production machines often breakdowns, which is a fundamental reason for researchers to increase the reliability level of the rotary kiln b PT XYZ production machine. XYZ. The research was carried out on the Rotary Kiln B machine made in Germany which plays a high enough role in the company. The research objective was to analyze the reliability (reliability) of Rotary Kiln b at PT. XYZ. The method used is Reliability with the Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) method. From the calculation of reliability on Rotary Kiln B with an operating time of 289 hours, the results are 0.5371 and MTTR 537.7732. The higher the reliability value, the better the machine used in the operation process.

Abstract MULTIMET alloy is cobalt-nickel-chromium-iron austenitic alloy having high oxidation and scaling resistance along with good high-temperature properties. It tends to work harden but does not respond significantly to age-hardening. It is made in a wrought grade (0.08-0.16% carbon) and a casting grade (0.20% max. carbon). This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as creep and fatigue. It also includes information on high temperature performance as well as forming, heat treating, machining, and joining. Filing Code: SS-28. Producer or source: Haynes Stellite Company. Compound ceramic coatings with the main crystalline of Al2TiO5 (as-coated samples) were prepared on Ti-6Al-4V alloy by pulsed bi-polar micro-plasma oxidation (MPO) in NaAlO2 solution. The coated samples were calcined in Ar and air at 1000oC, respectively. The phase composition, morphology and element content of the coatings were investigated by XRD, SEM and XRF. The samples treated in Ar and the as-coated ones were calcined in air at 1000oC to study the oxidation resistance of the samples. The results showed that Al2TiO5 decomposed and transformed into corundum and rutile TiO2 during the high temperature calcination. Al2TiO5 decomposed very quickly in air and the proportion of Al2O3 to TiO2 was 44:55 after a complete decomposition. On the contrary, Al2TiO5 decomposed very slowly in argon with the final proportion of Al2O3 to TiO2 of 81:18 on the coating surface. The morphology of the ceramic coatings after the calcination was also different. The coatings calcined in argon were fined: the grains and pores were smaller than those of the coatings calcined in air. The weight gains of both coatings changed in the form of parabola law, and the weight gains of the coated samples treated in argon were comparatively lower than that of the as-coated samples. During the high temperature calcination, the samples treated in argon cannot distort easily, compared with the as-coated ones.

Abstract Based on operational data concerning the dates of failure of the water supply network, a mean time to failure was performed. The calculations were performed for the main network, distribution network and water supply connections. The hypothesis about exponential working time between failures was verified using the Pearson test (χ2). The presented analyses provide an attitude of further analyses related to modelling the work of renovation and repair teams, associated with the selection of their appropriate number, and also to ensure the required level of safety and reliability of water supply to the consumers.

Abstract Chromogenic sources such as carbon particles and magnetic particles are the key factors restricting the brightness of fly ash. This study explored the feasibility of calcination-carbonation two-step method to improve the brightness of fly ash and apply it to paper filling. The results show that Under the condition of high temperature, the unburned carbon particles in fly ash are removed, and the brightness of fly ash is increased from 30 %ISO to 49 %ISO with the increase of burning loss. The dense calcium carbonate coating can be formed on the surface of fly ash particles modified by the carbonation reaction process after high temperature calcination, and the brightness of fly ash can be further raised to about 66 %ISO. The composite filler prepared by two-step method can be used to paper filling, the brightness of the paper can reach 76 % ISO, and it has good opacity at 20 % filling. Therefore, it is feasible to prepare fly ash-based composite filler by calcining-carbonization method.
