This article aims to discuss the current research trends on the tourism destination competitiveness. This research is sistemic literature review by using Publish or Perish software for data mining and VOSviewer for data analysis and visualization. The results indicate 4 research cluster themes on tourism destination competitiveness and 5 research clusters related to tourism destination competitiveness. The main cited articles on tourism destination competitiveness for period of 2005-2020 are Larry Dwyer, Chulwo Kim, Tanja Mihalic, Tanja Amenski, Vanja Dragineva, and Ugljesa Stankov. Based on the research findings, we state that the research gaps in the tourism destination competitiveness are still wide open, particularly in Indonesia.

This paper attempts to develop a data mining tool to guide sports training, promote physical education and facilitate technical and tactical analysis. For this purpose, information techniques like mathematical statistics and big data analysis were employed to collect and analyse the information on competitive sports. Based on database and computer algorithm, the author designed a data mining tool applicable to the information of various competitive sports. The proposed tool can mine out valuable information from the big data, enabling trainers to realize targeted and efficient physical education. The mined information also helps improve the analysis of techniques and tactics of competitive sports. The research findings promote the application of information technology in physical education and competitive sports.

This paper describes the outcome of a comprehensive literature review specifically conducted to assess research relevant to the design of advanced traveler information systems (ATIS) for automotive and commercial vehicle use. The goal of the literature review was to identify existing human factors guidelines applicable to the design of ATIS and gaps in the research precluding the development of comprehensive human factors guidelines for ATIS applications. A summary of ATIS research findings and research gaps is presented. Through presentation of both research findings and research gaps, it is hoped that interest will be sparked and focus will be provided for researchers in this growing application of human factors. Given the criticality of ATIS applications (both in terms of driver safety and public acceptance) and the visibility that will be provided to the human factors community from participation in ATIS design, human factors research leading to comprehensive and usable guidelines is extremely important.

The purpose of this literature review is to understand the current state of research on tools that collect data for the purpose of formative assessment. We were interested in identifying the types of data collected by these tools, how these data were processed, and how the processed data were presented to the instructor or student for the purpose of formative assessment. We identified two categories of data: machine-graded and activity stream data. The data were processed using three methods: unprocessed activity streams, descriptive data analysis, and data mining. Processed data were presented to students through reports and real-time feedback and to instructors through reports and visual dashboards.

Purpose: This study aims to explore how the role of archipelago insights in shaping national geostrategy resilience. Method: The method used in this research is literature review. The search for journals was carried out using the google scholar database with the keywords "archipelago insight" and "geostrategy" and "national resilience". Feasibility studies are assessed based on title, abstract, full text, and research methodology. Data analysis using narrative analysis based on research findings. Result: insight into the archipelago can be used as a basis in shaping a national geostrategy. The perspective in the concept of archipelago insight by fostering the diversity in Indonesia can create unity and integrity to form national geostrategic resilience. Conclusion: The concepts that exist in the archipelago perspective and national geostrategy can foster the diversity that exists in Indonesia. The creation of existing unity and integrity, understanding the perception of seeing differences, is not a threat to realizing national resilience in the Indonesian nation.

Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to summarize and evaluate previous research of Polish authors in the field of accounting ethics; identify the main trends in empirical research and organize the research findings; establish and assess the scope of reporting for individual elements of the research process; identify the research gaps that inspire further research. Methodology/approach: A systematic literature review was conducted, including bibliometric analysis and content analysis of 35 publications. Findings: Ethics in accounting as a research area is currently only at the development stage. At the same time, a variety of research interests is noticeable, the most common of which is to identify the motives and causes of unethical behavior. All studies except one were based on non-random sampling. The vast majority of the research was questionnaire; in half of the cases, the research group consisted of students. Recommendations were made regarding the methodological rigor of further research. The methodological shortcomings make it im-possible to replicate the research conducted so far. Thanks to the identification of research gaps, directions for further scientific research were determined. Research limitations/implications: The review was limited to scientific journals only due to the necessity to standardize the sources of publication of research results. Originality/value: Conclusions from the review may inspire others to undertake research in previously unexplored areas. It may also be a guide to ensure the best possible quality.

This literature review aimed to examine the status, trends and tendencies in publications about virtual classrooms, instructional design in the virtual classroom and instructional effectiveness in the virtual classroom, as indexed in the ERIC database. For this review, we examined 2680 publications indexed in ERIC between 1994 and 2018. We collected data with data mining and utilised several Python libraries as resources for developing the analysis plan. The results of the analysis are presented in visual form. For each of the three subject matter areas examined in this study, we present the themes in the publications by years, titles, abstracts and ERIC descriptors. We report in detail the trends and challenges that emerged from the analysis. The results show that the words “learning”, “online”, and “environment” were prominent in each of the three subject matter areas. The primary topics addressed were literacy and curriculum development, and researchers examined the roles of instructors, learners and managers. Implications for practice or policy: This review will be a useful resource for scientists, researchers and policymakers who conduct studies on the virtual classroom. Instruction should be planned according to differences in instructor, learner and manager roles, as revealed by the studies. Practitioners who want to teach in virtual classrooms can also use it as a guide.

AbstractThe research trends after COVID-19 pandemic will be changing and more challenging. This study is aimed to review the trends of marketing research in the first semester of 2020. There are three parts of this analysis. First, review was made to summarize the trend of research domain and model. Second, the trend of data collection method is also synthesized. Third, trends of data analysis method are being categorized. Result shows that before COVID-19 outbreak, research model in marketing studies was dominated by Literature Review articles (systematic, integrative, and meta-analysis), and also Experimental Studies on various consumer behaviour topics. In term of data collection methods, Purposive Sampling and Amazon Mechanical Turk (MTurk) are two approaches that popularly used by the researchers. On the trend of data analysis method, ANOVA, Regression, and Qualitative Analysis are three popular methods which used among the studies. Future research agendas after the pandemic are also discussed in this study.

Abstract The study was set to examine the differences between religion and religiosity and to explore how communities can be protected against religious violence. The study also intended to investigate the motives and the effect that religious violence has had throughout history. The study employed the qualitative research method whereby the researcher carried out a meta-analysis synthesis of different research findings to make conclusions and implications that could answer the study questions. Using the literature review they conducted, the researchers carried out data collection. As such, the researcher employed the bottom-up approach to identify the problem and the questions along with the investigation framework of what they decided to explore. The findings of the study revealed that religious backgrounds should be the cornerstone to realize the diff erence between religion and religiosity. Religion is of divine origin whereas religiosity is specifically a humanistic approach and a behavioral model. The religious violence phenomenon is formed by interlocking factors such as the interpretation of religious texts which clearly adopt thoughts and heritage full of violence camouflaged by religion. It is recommended that governments use a strong strategy employing the educational system, summits and dialogs to successfully overcome religious violence. The summits on religion should result in starting a dialog that ensures acceptance of the different religions.
