PT IJS is a company engaged in logistics services in the Perak area of Surabaya. PT IJS was founded in 1984 when the need for container depots was urgently needed around the Tanjung Tanjung port area to unravel the shipping queues and shorten licensing. One of the services provided by PT IJS is bounded warehouse rental services. Bounded warehouse owned by PT IJS is currently not able to provide maximum service because there are still many late deliveries which do not result in the sending of goods to the port and there is a closing time that is detrimental to the customer. The length of the delivery process is due to several factors, one of which is a less effective company layout. Travel time is the time required for a vehicle to carry out goods loading activities at PT. IJS from arrival to exit company. Based on travel time calculations when using the initial layout, the travel time value of T = 2002 seconds. The weighted-distance method is a mathematical model used to evaluate the layout based on proximity factors. The design of the relayout design using the weighted-distance method produces alternative layouts that produce shorter travel time calculations, alternative layout  with T = 1849 seconds.

Global competition between companies is becoming increasingly stringent, resulting in companies having to understand their customers better. Customers no longer only need quality products, but also need excellent and timely service. To meet the desires of these consumers, the company must create an effective and efficient work system. Research background: The problem of evaluating the results of innovative transport technologies is extremely important for their implementation and realization. The assessment of possible benefits of innovative transport projects is complicated by a number of circumstances. These include a wide range of arising effects in various forms and the long life cycle of the project, which increases the difficulty of reliably measuring the various costs and results. Thus, it can be argued that outdated approaches and methods for assessing the new transport products hinder the development of innovations. Purpose of the article: to identify directions for assessing the travel time value in the analysis of the transportation projects economic efficiency. Methods: The study was conducted by means of scientific methods such as the comparative analysis, system method, generalization and abstraction. Also, we use the results of expert assessments based on depth-in interviews. Findings & Value added: The article substantiates the necessity of taking into account the incremental benefits for passengers from travel time reduction as the most important aspect of transport projects implementation, ensuring the formation of the whole range of external social and economic effects; The multi-factor dependence of the travel time value for a passenger, which is characterised by its heterogeneity during a journey, has been substantiated. The necessity of assessing changes of travel time values in the general transport costs of passengers has been substantiated, taking into account the several factors that lead to different time values. A visual model of the socio-economic effects formation of the HSR project, caused by changes in the passengers’ total transport costs and increased transport accessibility of the region, is proposed.

The purpose of this case study is to identify the conditions for a company developing a B2B trade show’s communication to move into an efficient Omni-channel communication approach. The case study method is used to describe the issues facing Plastic Omnium Environnement Company in deploying an Omni-channel communication approach. This company provides services to local authorities and private sector companies to dispose of their waste. Its Director of communication, Pierre Mereau, is faced with the fact that 160 French communes changed hands from one political party to another in the last local elections. This led to stagnation in terms of turnover—the time required for decision-makers to once again invest in waste management. At the same time, his General Directorate is asking him to make cuts and savings. Pierre Mereau evaluates its performance in the two last most important trade shows and set his mind to develop an Omni-channel communication approach. This case study provides an insight in an organization that is optimizing its communication strategy in a specific market. It should help companies to develop synergies between the trade show and social media.

This research presents studies on a segment of highway to determine the quantitative factors that inuence transit services. Travel time and delay study is one of the method to determine quantitative factors. Tour time is described as the average period of time required to journey from one region to some other. Total departure time consists of gadgets which include total working time, places and general delay time. The examine section was done in Prithvi chowk to Tal chowk of Prithvi Highway which is turned to be 12.5 km long. Additionally, it has been found that the principle variables affecting travel time are: postpone time because of forestall selecting and choosing up passengers, bus model and bus size.32 trips public transport carrier and a 10 trips non-public automobile journey have been held during peak hours. Models are developed the use of SPSS software to become aware of the relationship between the causes of delays and the overall-time delays. Travel time and learning delays can help reduce the number of private vehicles operating and increase the number of public vehicles in order to reduce congestion and improve the e efficiency of the public transport system. It turned into determined that there was a full-size distinction in tour time among the use of the public transit services and the car.

We have developed a traffic simulation model to quantitatively assess the resilience of a twin-tube motorway tunnel in the event of traffic accident or fire occurring within a tube. The motorway section containing the tunnel was investigated for different possible scenarios including its partial or complete closure. The functionality of the road infrastructure, in the case of an accident in one of the two tubes (each tube presents two lanes with unidirectional traffic under ordinary conditions), was assumed to be recovered both by using the remaining undisrupted lane of the tube interested by the disruptive event (only one lane is closed) and reorganizing the traffic flow by utilizing the adjacent tube for bi-directional traffic (both lanes are closed). The effects of an alternative itinerary individualized in the corresponding open road network were also examined. The level of functionality of the system during the period in which the tube is partially or completely closed was computed as the ratio between the average travel time required to reach a given destination from a specific origin before and after the occurrence of the disruptive event. The resilience metrics were assumed to be resilience loss, recovery speed, and resilience index. The best scenario was found to be the partial closure of the tube in contrast to the complete one. However, in order to contain the negative effects on the functionality of the motorway section due to the complete closure of the tube, it is worth highlighting how the traffic by-pass before the entrance portal of the closed tube should be open in a very short time by the tunnel management team to allow for the quick use of the adjacent tube for bi-directional traffic. An additional improvement, with reference exclusively to passenger cars traveling through the adjacent unblocked tube, might be obtained by activating the variable message signs, located at a sufficient distance from the motorway junction before the entrance portal of the closed tube, in order to suggest an alternative route to heavy good vehicles (HGVs) only. Whereas, when the alternative itinerary is used by all vehicles traveling towards the blocked tube (i.e., both passenger cars and HGVs), this redirectioning of the motorway traffic flow was found to be characterized by an excessive travel time, with it therefore not being advisable. The results obtained might be useful as a decision-making support tool aimed at improving the resilience of twin-tube tunnels.
