Reducing direct labor costs can be used to create a low operation cost as the way for winning future markets including injected automotive components. This paper aims to provide an overview of direct labor costs reduction in injected automotive components through a U-shaped cellular layout as part of the lean concept. Over a decade, many types of research had already used the lean concept to solve problems in production activity through lean tools. In this paper, several lean tools such as Takt time, value stream mapping, and U-shaped cellular will be used for reducing direct labor costs that have increased yearly in Indonesia since 2015. Those lean tools will be performed in a job-shop of injected automotive components. After performing the U-shaped cellular layout, the direct labor costs were reduced to 25 % by combining the job held by two operators to become one operator.

(An economic system is a system used in a country to organize and manage all forms of economic activity, so that with the enactment of an economic system, the state can maximize its role in managing and improving all resources at its disposal. This paper attempts to compare an Islamic economic system with a capitalist economic system, both of which have very striking differences when applied in business activities. The results of the study concluded that the Islamic economic system carries a vision of homo Islamicus who views humans as kholifah on earth who is given the ability by Allah to manage the earth and its contents well in meeting its own needs and those around it with the aim of providing balance between individuals, communities and the state, so that its application in business activities is economic value of time or economic value is time. While the capitalist economic system carries a homo economicus vision that views humans as economic creatures with a system that aims to achieve maximum profits with small capital, so that its application in business activities is time value of money or time value is money).

Regulating the output voltage based on the desired set point is useful for many applications. However, getting the optimal value using fast computation with minimal error is still challenging. This paper aims to design, simulate, and implement a second-order Buck-Boost DC-DC converter circuit so that the voltage result according to the desired set point can be achieved. Initially, testing is conducted using Matlab Simulink. Then, Proteus is used to test the computation of the program on embedded systems in which the result is implemented in C. In low voltage power electronics applications, this approach has never been used to determine the output form. To determine the value of Kp, Ki, dan Kd, PID, Ziger Nichos (Guo, 2002). method is used. Meanwhile, tuning is done through Matlab. For simulation on Proteus, the output is tested by setting the setpoint values of 3.0, 2.5, and 1.7 volts. This aims to see the pattern of changes in the simulation. The simulation results with Proteus show that they have similar peak values but with different overshoot values. This is because the simulation must pass the reference voltage before it drops to the desired setpoint value. Proteus simulation can also help to prove embedded system programs are running correctly. On the other hand, the value of 1.7 volts is used as a setpoint in device implementation. This is due to the determination that the setpoint voltage in the implementation does not exceed the value of the source/power supply. The results show that for the rise time value of 378,770 ms, Overshoot and settling time are 11.798% and 0, respectively. This means the result produces an optimal value which is a return to the initial target. The optimal factor is assessed from the ability to minimize existing errors as well as having the shortest possible computational process.

Time, cost, and quality have been known as the project iron triangles and substantial factors in construction projects. Several studies have been conducted on time-cost-quality trade-off problems so far, however, none of them has considered the time value of money. In this paper, a multi-objective mathematical programming model is developed for time-cost-quality trade-off scheduling problems in construction projects considering the time value of money, since the time value of money, which is decreased during a long period of time, is a very important matter. Three objective functions of time, cost, and quality are taken into consideration. The cost objective function includes holding cost and negative cash flows. In this model, the net present value (NPV) of negative cash flow is calculated considering the costs of non-renewable (consumable) and renewable resources in each time period of executing activities, which can be mentioned as the other contribution of this study. Then, three metaheuristic algorithms including multi-objective grey wolf optimizer (MOGWO), non-dominated sorting genetic algorithm (NSGA-II), and multi-objective particle swarm optimization (MOPSO) are applied, and their performance is evaluated using six metrics introduced in the literature. Finally, a bridge construction project is considered as a real case study. The findings show that considering the time value of money can prevent cost overrun in projects. Additionally, the results indicate that the MOGWO algorithm outperforms the NSGA-II and MOPSO algorithms.

A portfolio concerns the formation of the composition of multiple assets to obtain optimum results. At the same time, Value at Risk is a technique in risk management to measure and assess parametrically (variant and co-variant), Monte-Carlo, and historical simulation. This research employed historic simulation because normal distribution is not required from returns and is a Value at Risk calculation model that is determined by the past value on produced return asset, in which this research aimed to determine the Markowitz model positive shares and Value at Risk in the portfolio by using historical simulation. The Markowitz model found eight shares with positive expected returns, which are as follows: BBCA, BBRI, BRPT, EXCL, ICBP, INDF, MNCN, and TPIA. The BBCA has the most significant exposure of all the shares with the amount of Rp 2.287.200.440.000, while the TPIA has the smallest exposure of all the shares with the amount of Rp 58.899.375.000. Further, the EXCL has the largest VaR with the amount of Rp 236.189.538.497, while the TPIA and ICBP had no VaR losses because the VaR of TPIA and ICBP is Rp 0 and Rp -1.407.719.893, respectively, along with the INDF as the share with the smallest VaR of Rp 18.513.213.620. The most significant exposure average is Rp 719.246.318.375, while the largest VaR average is Rp 76.827.608.341,3. As long as the VaR did not exceed the exposure value, the investors will be safe and have no loss.

The randomized method of Sign-Perturbed Sums (SPS) is applied within the framework of the incubation time approach to evaluate the dynamic strength of ice. The experimental data of [Carney et al., 2006; Wu and Prakash, 2015; Saletti et al., 2019] is analysed in order to estimate strength parameters of ice and describe the observed strain-rate sensitivity curves. The independence of incubation time value on the ice temperature is established in contrast with the significant dependency of the critical stress parameter. The obtained confidence interval of the spalled ice is in good correspondence with the scatter observed experimentally.

The Covid-19 pandemic in 2020 has a significant impact on all countries' social and economic conditions, including Indonesia. It is fitting that social and economic changes also affect the transportation sector. The value of economic benefits in one public facility operation also depreciated due to the economic recession. One of the variables that can be reviewed is the time value of public passenger transportation users (AUP) to measure how much depreciation has occurred. This study specifically for travel is learning, using the bus mode Batik Solo Trans (BST) Corridor 4. Development of scenarios for questionnaires with stated preference methods, using the choice mode between motorbikes and AUP as an option, and the mode utility is approached with the equation multiple linear regression. The results of the analysis show that the time value of the user in the fleet is IDR 274.67 / hour for a distance of 8.35 km and the Time Value for a distance of 13.0 km = IDR 240.82 / hour with a Value of Activity (VoA) which is close to zero because the activity in the fleet has no financial value. This time value is considerably smaller than the AUP time value with the same intention of trip, studying, which was analyzed in 2015, which was IDR 4,708 / hour.
