This study was conducted to determine the effect of user participation, user ability, and top management support on the performance of accounting information systems through education and training as moderating variables at PT. Megagriya Makmur Hill. This research uses classical assumption test, data quality test, descriptive statistical test, multiple linear regression, Moderated Regression Analysis test, and hypothesis testing. The results of the study show that user participation, user capabilities, top management support, have an effect on the performance of accounting information systems. When moderation occurs, education and training are not able to moderate user participation and top management support on accounting information system performance, while education and training are able to moderate users' ability to accounting information system performance.

ERP implementation is a way to improve competitive advantage, and ERP is one of the factors that affect the company's performance. However, many studies reveal that many companies trying to implement ERP failed although in the end many were successful. To achieve its success, several key factors to be considered include top management support, effective project management, business process reengineering, hardware and software selection, education and training, and vendor support. This study aims to explore the key of successful implementation of ERP in state-owned enterprises in Bandung, Indonesia. Related to state owned enterprises that have failed and succeeded in the implementation of ERP, the effective management project analysis has a significant influence on the success of system implementation while top management support, business process reengineering, hardware and software selection, education and training and vendor support have no effect on the success of ERP implementation. However all variables studied simultaneously have effects on the success of ERP implementation.

The purpose of this research is to test the influences of critical success factors of ERP implementation. The use of variables based on the results of previous research, which directly influences the Top management support, Business Process Reengineering, Effective Project Management and Education and training toward critical success factors of ERP Implementation. The use of these variables can solve the problems in determining appropriate strategies for the successful ERP Implementation. According to Martin (1998) 90% of ERP implementation has been delayed and the success rate is only about 33%. The population used in this research were all ERP users at a packaging company and the sample size is 57 people. Data collection techniques in this research using questionnaires and data analysis technique using Partial Least Square (PLS) which is run with the help of Smart PLS 2.0 M3 software. The analysis showed that Top Management Support and Education and training influence the success of ERP implementation, while the other variables such as Business Process Reengineering and Effective Project Management does not affect the successful implementation of ERP. To increase the success rate of ERP implementation, users on the companies that are or have implemented ERP systems should consider some factors such as Top Management Support and Education and training because these factors shown to affect the success rate of ERP implementation. Keywords : ERP, Implementation, Information Technology and PLS.

This research aims to construct scales to measure the quality of financial statement information directly based on sets of characteristics of financial statements quality, published by FASB & IASB 2010. Additionally, based on qualitative research, the study identifies five internal factors affecting the relevance of financial statements information quality, including: earnings management behaviors, top management support, education and training, internal control system efficiency and accountants’ competencies. Based on quantitative research, the study constructed regression model showing the influence of 4 factors, namely earnings managements, top management support, education and training, and accountants competencies om the relevance of financial statements information quality.

Information technology and top management support are considered infrastructure for knowledge sharing. This research aims to identify infrastructure profiles and their relationship with knowledge sharing. A survey method was adopted involving 231 respondents working in information technology teams in Brazil. The analysis identified four profiles, namely: focus on information technology; focus on top management support; adrift; and knowledge sharing oriented. The latter was identified as being the most effective, while no significant difference was found between the other clusters in relation to knowledge sharing. This finding is a supplement to this field of knowledge because, in addition to confirming the relevance of the two constructs, it shows that their simultaneous presence contributes to knowledge sharing. This result also helps managers by highlighting that in order to leverage knowledge sharing it is necessary to signal the importance of the process for the company, as well as provide adequate information technology.

Purpose Top management support (TMS) is considered as a critical factor for the success of information systems (ISs) projects. The literature shows that TMS has a positive impact on achieving success in ISs’ projects in different aspects. However, the enabling factors for TMS in complex ISs’ projects have barely been tested, something which this study aims to rectify. Design/methodology/approach This study has designed a research model based on structural equation modelling (SEM) with the intention of analysing the perception of IS end users regarding the effect on TMS of the following factors: technological complexity and training and organizational communication. The application of the study has focused on an enterprise resource planning–open source software (ERP-OSS) environment. Findings The findings show how end users have a perception that organizational communication and training have a positive relation with TMS. Based on these findings, the authors have suggested several practical considerations. Research limitations/implications There are two limitations to this study. First, this study is based on the perception of complex IS/IT users. It would be interesting to add the perception of top managers to provide more solid findings. The second limitation is that this study has not suggested any additional potential factors which could affect TMS. Practical implications First, this article provides a study of the key role of TMS when an organization needs to implement a complex IS/IT. Second, organizations must develop mechanisms for increasing training and communication relating to the new complex IS/IT projects. Finally, the complexity of an IS/IT project does not constitute an enabling factor incentivizing TMS and should therefore not be a determining factor in increasing TMS within an organization selecting an IS/IT. Originality/value This study contributes to advancing theory in the field of TMS in information systems projects.

Construction firms are increasingly utilizing information technologies to better manage geographically dispersed projects. Often these technologies involve changes to existing working practices and processes and are viewed as disruptive by members of the organization. Understanding the factors that can influence individuals’ intention to utilize technology can assist managers to implement strategies to increase and improve the uptake of technologies and improve the innovation adoption process.  Using a case study organization, factors identified in the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) are examined and the UTAUT is extended and by including resistance to change and top management support. The findings indicate effort expectancy, internal facilitating conditions and top management support all influence individuals’ intention to use information technology. The results also show that resistance to change or fear of change does not always play a role in innovation adoption. The findings reinforce the need to support new technologies from both a managerial and technical perspective.

This study aims to determine the factors that influence the performance of SISKEUDES in improving the quality of the Village Fund's financial statements. Village financial management has become very important as part of the accountability of village funds given by the government and is increasing every year. The SISKEUDES application is used to facilitate the administration of village fund financial reports. The application of the SISKEUDES application will accelerate the completion of financial reports of village funds accurately and on time. The population in this study was all villages totaling 8 villages in Gianyar Regency who received village funds. The sample is determined by the saturated or census sample method. The data analysis technique uses Smart-PLS 3.0. The results showed that: user involvement had a positive and significant effect on the performance of the SISKEUDES; the education and training program has a negative and not significant effect on the performance of the SISKEUDES; top management support has a negative and significant effect on the performance of the  SISKEUDES. Key words:  Siskeudes Performance, User Engagement, Training Programs, Top Management Support
