Due to the importance of dispositions, the National Accreditation Council for Teacher Education (NACTE) in Pakistan like many other countries of the world has included dispositions in its standards. NACTE also entails that teacher-training institutes are responsible to develop and impart dispositions among pre-service teachers. The current study analyzed the professional dispositions taught to prospective teachers at public sector universities of Punjab. The quantitative survey research design was employed to accomplish the study. The accessible population of the study was 1592 teacher-candidates of the final semester of BS/B. Ed. Honors in Education and M. A. Education programs. The sample was selected through multi-stage sampling. A questionnaire was developed for data collection keeping in view the dispositions described in the document of National Professional Standards for Teachers in Pakistan (NPSTP). The study concluded that dispositions related to the categories “moral values and commitment to students’ learning” are being taught in the public universities to a greater extent as compared to other categories. The study also concluded a positive correlation between dispositions taught to prospective teachers and academic achievements (CGPA). Researchers recommend that policymakers may introduce a core subject based on professional dispositions having more dispositions-oriented content, so as to produce effective teachers for future needs of the educational institutes of Pakistan.

In this article, the authors suggest that a key to a more effective and socially responsible fight against corruption lies in sequencing. Here, they explain how initiatives targeting high-level corruption in government and business must take priority, preceding the reforms of the public sector.

In the 4.0 era, technology was rapidly developing which caused changes in the perspective of education. The competencies needed in the world of education are also changing. This affects the competency of prospective teachers. They must prepare, improve, and continue to hone their competencies to be able to produce a quality generation that is able to answer the challenges in the current 4.0 era. This study aims to explain the perceptions of prospective PAI teachers, inform about 6C competencies which is an update in the 4.0 era curriculum which was formerly known as 4C competencies but now gets two additional new competencies by the Minister of Education and Culture so that they become 6C competencies, as well as challenges faced by prospective PAI teachers in era 4.0. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method and literature study. The results and discussion of this research are found that: 1. From the perception of PAI teacher candidates many do not know about the 6C competency being promoted by the Minister of Education and Culture because it has not been a focus among educators. 2. Prospective educators try to hone their competencies to face the 4.0 era.

Presenting a large threat to irreplaceable heritage, property, cultural knowledge and cultural economies across the world, heritage and cultural property crimes offer case studies through which to consider the challenges, choices and practices that shape 21st-century policing. This article uses empirical research conducted in England & Wales, France and Italy to examine heritage and cultural property policing. It considers the threat before investigating three crucial questions. First, who is involved in this policing? Second, how are they involved in this policing? Third, why are they involved? This last question is the most important and is central to the article as it examines why, in an era of severe economic challenges for the governments in the case studies, the public sector would choose to lead policing.

Nigeria, like most countries around the world, has turned to Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) to finance its infrastructure deficit. However, it appears that the government of Nigeria looks towards PPPs as the major solution to the country’s infrastructure crisis. In a sense PPPs are being sold to the public as if they were free, that the private sector would come in with its funds, provide the desired services and that the problem with the country’s infrastructure would automatically cease. This paper argues that this supposition is a myth and that the role of PPPs in the provision of public infrastructure is more nuanced than is being bandied around. PPPs are not the panacea to all of the country’s infrastructure problems and also are far from being completely free. It is however the case that if appropriately deployed, in most cases PPPs provide some advantages over conventional public sector procurements. This paper explores the different advantages and disadvantages of PPPs and suggests ways in which PPPs may be effectively used to improve the country’s infrastructure with reduced fiscal exposure to government.

Although knowledge is recognized as a very important element of any business, the public sector does not fully explore the depth of the knowledge management (KM) as compared to private sector business. As days are passing by, public sector business has also started to realize the importance of KM. The public sector is a business that is run by the government. This sector includes organizations like government cooperation, enterprises, militaries, education, health, and related departments public services. In the public sector, the managers have started to adopt and develop practices of KM. Government organizations are facing many challenges to adapt and engage themselves in an electronic work environment. Over the years KM has grown and has been in continuous change in the public sector and has become essential to any organization in the world. Managers have been looking for a more futuristic approach for the past years. The purpose of this chapter examines the ongoing change in KM in the public sector and tackles the gap in the literature.

Women have made an amazing progress personally, financially, and professionally however, with regards to the field of finance, an extensive effort to be done to become well performers comparing to the men. Therefore, women must begin understanding, and thinking the significance of money, savings, and its investment perspectives to overcome critical circumstances at any phase of their lives. Therefore, the major objective of this research is to investigate the relationships among financial management, savings and investment behavior, andfinancial well-being (FWB) of working women in the public sector in Malaysia. A sum of 722 respondents were selected using the multi-stage random sampling method in Malaysia. According to the financial status of working women, 39.2% felt that their assets were more than their debt, and 44.3% was said that their salary was sufficient to meet only their basic requirements. Furthermore, more than 80% of the respondents were followed good financial management practices such as, keeping updated records of the expenses, planning the expenses, doing investments monthly, keeping the loan payment on schedule, settling all the bills on time, and maintaining a savings account. Moreover, it also showed that Malaysian working women have good financial management practices which are indicated by their abilities in performing the savings and investment behaviors to manage their surplus money wisely in order to achieve higher FWB levels. Further, this study was detected some specific financial challenges that Malaysian public sector working women meet over their lifetime, and offered possible solutions for the present and future.

Despite the hundreds of existing stone fruit (Prunus spp.) cultivars used for fresh market, there is a continuing need to develop new stone fruit cultivars as the requirements of the industry change. Over the last 20 years there has been a shift toward private breeding as the public sector decreases its support of these long-range programs. As a result there are fewer public breeding programs and many of those still operating protect their releases and partially fund their programs with royalty payments. Other trends that are shaping the development of new stone fruit cultivars are a need for smaller or more easily managed tree architecture, a trend toward the use of fewer agricultural chemicals, the expansion of production zones into the milder winter zones to allow year-round availability of stone fruit, a general diversification of fruit types being marketed, the increased awareness of the health benefits of fruit consumption, the need for better and more consistent quality, and given the global marketing of these fruit the increased need for enhanced postharvest qualities. The breeding programs of the world are responding to these trends and working toward developing the cultivars for the world markets of the future.

<span>Critical thinking skills that enhance the ability of individuals to understand and make sense of the world and events and situations around them are one of the foremost research areas in the educational system of various countries. As a critical thinking individual, decisions made by the teacher in his/her class, the activities he/she has performed and the explicit and implicit messages given by him/her to the class are clearly observed by the students. It is believed that the situation of teachers’ having critical thinking skills and critical thinking personality effects on students' perceptions and achievements about critical thinking. In this context, the aim of the research is to determine the perceptions of the teacher candidates about critical thinking and to observe the changes in these perceptions over time. Interviews were held with 11 prospective teachers for two times for 4 years and their thoughts on critical thinking were examined. According to the findings obtained, the thoughts of the teacher candidates regarding the critical thinking do not change over time but they are not seen enough. Teacher candidates make decisions with emotional references and they are reluctant to inquire and research.</span>

In the present day, in the context of the toughening of global competition in the field of health care and the efforts that different countries of the world spend on improving the efficiency of the public sector of economy, the problems associated with determining the factors of competitiveness of healthcare organizations come to the forefront. The research conducted by the authors showed that assessing the competitiveness and development potential of medical companies with the Keigan-Vogel positioning map often gives incorrect results. The study showed that a significant part of errors (22-28%) is due to an incorrect evaluation of the quality and effectiveness of medical services, which necessitates a clear delineation of these concepts. The work shows how these indicators effect the competitiveness of organizations in the health sector and what happens if we do not distinguish between these two concepts.
