The most numerous category of finds among the funeral utensils in the Late Sarmatian female burials are the beads. Despite the mass and standardization, their potential as the dependable markers of date and location is still not developed completely. So one of the promising directions is to identify the zones of geographical distribution of the types of beads, that is, the selection of local and interregional types. The data base of the study consisted of 38 Late Sarmatian burials containing more than 7050 beads. At the first stage, a series of types of beads were classified according to the informative degree. Thus 39 types (found only in one buried) were considered poor informative. Other 56 types are considered well informative, because they were found in two or more burials. In the second stage, among 56 informative types,17 local markers (those found in two or more graves from one geographic region) were identified. All assemblages were dated according the dates of burials where they have been discovered. In the third stage, the remaining 39 informative types have been identified as interregional (those found in two or more graves from the territories of two or more regions of the studied range of distribution of the Late Sarmatian culture). They were also dated according the dates of burials. Thus, the result of the study is the selection of local and interregional markers of Late Sarmatian female burials from the territory of the steppe of Eastern Europe.

The correct choice of elements of the elevator lifting mechanism and their parameters ensures its reliability, durability, energy and economic efficiency. The paper contains recommendations for the selection of the traction elements of the elevator lifting mechanism and the sequence of determining their parameters based on a multivariate calculation. The purpose of the proposed sequence is to obtain the most rational parameters of the traction elements of the elevator lifting mechanism. The initial data for the calculation are the lifting capacity of the elevator, the nominal speed of movement, the height of the lift of the car. It is also necessary to consider the purpose of the elevator. At the first stage of the calculation, the masses of the cab and the counterweight are determined. In this case, the existing data on analogue lifts should be used. In the absence of such data, the approximate dependences proposed by the authors of the article can be used. At the second stage, the kinematic scheme of the elevator is selected. At the third stage, the type of traction element is selected. On the basis of domestic and foreign experience in elevator engineering and well-known literature, recommendations are formulated for choosing the type of traction element. The final stage is a multivariate calculation of traction elements. It is proposed to evaluate the calculation results taking into account the minimum value of the safety factor in accordance with the EN 81-1: 1998 standard. The calculation of the traction elements considered in the work is only a small part of the process of determining the optimal parameters of the elements of the elevator lifting mechanism. At the same time, already at this stage, variability is introduced, which makes the calculation quite laborious to perform it manually. Obviously, a multivariate calculation method that allows you to analyze many different combinations of parameters of the elements of the elevator lifting mechanism and choose the optimal ones is impossible without the use of a computer.

This study discusses Padepokan Giri Harja in wayang golek in West Java. The selection of Padepokan to be studied is very important because it has influence and role in the preservation of puppet shows in Jelekong village, West Java. The purpose of this study is the first to: find out the history and development of Padepokan Giri Harja, know Gait Asep Sunadar Sunarya in the development of Padepokan Giri Harja, and know Padepokan Giri Harja in preserving Wayang Golek The method used in this study is the historical method, which is a method that reconstructs history by studying events in the past. There are four stages in this method, the first stage of Heuristics is the search for sources, the second stage of criticism namely internal criticism and external criticism, the third stage of interpretation, i and the fourth stage of historiography. The results of this study indicate that the founder of Padepokan Pusaka Giri Harja was Abah Sunarya. This Padepokan is a place for puppet puppet puppetry course. This Padepokan is located in Jelekong village, Ciparay Subdistrict, Bandung Regency, West Java. Many of his students later became successful puppeteers, including his own children. Abeng Sunarya was once a member of the management of the Bandung Regency Pedalangan and Pepadi Foundation. After Abah Sunarya died, the heritage of Giri Harja was continued by her son, Asep Sunandar Sunarya, better known as Giri Harja 3 or Abah Asep. Abah Asep developed this Heritage of Giri Harja so well that he had the desire to build a hermitage to make it easier for people who wanted to practice puppet show. The presence of Padepokan Seni Padalangan Giri Harja is one of the icons of the art village. The permanent building with the shape of a typical gunungan roof of wayang golek stands majestically on Jalan Raya Laswi, across the Bandung-Majalaya region, West Java, which is equipped with a large parking lot. Critics have argued that Elizabeth Gaskell's first novel, Mary Barton (1848), is split by a conflict between the modes of realism and romance. But the conflict does not render the novel incoherent, because Gaskell surpasses both modes through a utopian narrative that breaks with the conflict of form and gives coherence to the whole novel. Gaskell not only depicts what Thomas Carlyle called the ‘Condition of England’ in her work but also develops, through three stages, the utopia that will redeem this condition. The first stage is romantic nostalgia, a backward glance at Eden from the countryside surrounding Manchester. The second stage occurs in Manchester, as Gaskell mixes romance with a realistic mode, tracing a utopian drive toward death. The third stage is the utopian break with romantic and realistic accounts of the Condition of England and with the inadequate preceding conceptions of utopia. This third stage transforms narrative modes and figures a new mode of production.

AbstractThis article investigates an effective method with which to reconstruct the tragus and external auditory meatus for microtia reconstruction. The external ear was reconstructed using a delayed postauricular skin flap in patients with congenital microtia. After the first stage of delaying the postauricular skin flap and the second stage of otoplasty with ear framework fabricated from autogenous rib cartilage draping with the delayed skin flap, the third stage involved tragus and external auditory meatus canaloplasty. After designing the remnant auricle flap, the lower part was trimmed and the tragus was reconstructed. The upper part was trimmed into a thin skin flap, which was rotated and used to cover the hollowed wound posterosuperior to the tragus so as to mimic the external auditory meatus. If remnant wounds were present, skin grafting was conducted. In total, 121 patients with congenital microtia were treated from March 2010 to March 2016. The reconstructed tragus and external auditory meatus were well formed, and all wounds healed well. No severe complications such as flap necrosis occurred. Six months postoperatively, the morphology of the reconstructed tragus and external auditory meatus was good. Overall, the patients and their families were satisfied. The use of remnant auricle to reconstruct the tragus and external auditory meatus is an effective auricular reconstruction technique.

The article proposes the concept of life and creative growth of V.M. Shukshin through the prism of the thesaurus and cluster approach. The explanatory "personal models" for interpreting the biographical text of the writer are clusters of Martin Eden, Hamlet and Stepan Razin. Earlier, biographers and literary critics pointed out the importance of these people for Shukshin, but it was scattered. For the first time, an attempt was made to bring these personal models together into an integral plot of the formation of the writer in the space of culture. At different stages of the writer’s evolution, one of these models dominates, successively replacing each other, but not crowding out, but “overlapping”. The early stage of creativity, focused on Martin Eden’s strategy, is an attempt to “fit in” the current cultural mainstream. This is expressed in following the poetics of socialist realism. The second stage implicitly begins with the rehabilitation of Shukshin’s father in 1956, when the “Hamletian complex” is actualized. It is manifested in a sense of guilt towards his father, the strategy of concealing the true “I”, eccentricities. The third stage is connected with the personality of a real historical person, Stepan Razin, and is expressed in an open protest against the authorities. All important for V.M. Shukshin's behavioral models are united by the motive of a lonely confrontation with a hostile society and have a tragic ending, which led to the early departure of the writer and the generation of myths about the violent nature of his death. V.M. Shukshin was an extraordinary and typical figure at the same time. That allowed his biography to become a “personal model” for subsequent authors who came from the rural outback.

Most authors considered pleural cavity drainage to be the main method of treatment of acute pleural empyema using minor surgery. Despite the simplicity of drainage of the pleural cavity, the number of complications after this surgical manipulation, according to the reports of some authors, varies from 3 to 8 %. The complications of pleural drainage in the patients with acute nonspecific pleural empyema have been studied and the technique of pleural drainage "blindly" has been introduced, which allows drainage to be located along the chest wall. At the first stage of the four−stage study, the complications of pleural drainage in 38 patients with acute nonspecific pleural empyema were analyzed, at the second stage a device for drainage of the pleural cavity "blindly" was developed to place drainage in parallel to the chest wall, at the third stage patients were tested; on IV −− drainage of the pleural cavity of 34 patients was performed according to the proposed method. The reason for the development of drainage complications in the pleural cavity of patients with acute pleural empyema was the inadequate location of drainage in the pleural cavity, drainage of the pleural cavity was carried out in general hospitals without the use of thoracoscopic equipment. Curved thoracoport with trocar for a blind drainage of the pleural cavity "blindly" was developed and introduced into clinical practice. This technique eliminates the involuntary location of the drainage in the pleural cavity, installing it along the chest wall, and is safe. Complications associated with drainage of the pleural cavity according to the developed method using a curved thoracoport with a trocar, inadequate location of drainage, were not observed in patients. Key words: acute pleural empyema, pleural cavity drainage, curved trocar.
