All teachers expect that any teaching and learning process achieve adequate results to its learners. To achieve such an adequate result, it is lucid that the role of the teachers is urgent and essential. Teachers are required to possess initiatives and creativities in exploring various models, strategies, and methods of teaching and learning. Another characteristic required from a teacher is the ability to read, comprehend, analyze, and apply appropriate models, strategies, and methods in every instructional activity. The present research study aims to explore one cooperative learning model named Numbered Head Together (NHT). This learning model is offered as an alternative learning model and expected to create comfortable instructional environment in order to assure maximum learning achievement for the students. The Numbered Head Together explored in this research study was conducted in four phases namely numbering, raising questions, thinking together, and answering the questions. The application of such a model of NHT, as indicated, could increase the learning achievement of the students investigated in this study.  In pre-cycle stage the percentage of the students complete the topic was only 13%, meaning that the other 87% was not complete. When such a model was applied, however, the significant increase was shown by the students. In Cycle 1 the average of the students complete the topic was 60.9%, indicating that only 39.1% was not complete.  In Cycle 2, the average of the complete students reached 91.3% and only 8.7% of the students were not complete. By the last cycle of the application of NHT model, the average peaked at 100%, indicating that all of the students were complete to finish the topic of the lesson. Based on the findings of the study, it is concluded that the application of Numbered Head Together (NHT) cooperative learning model is advantageous in increasing the learning achievement of the four graders at St. Maria Imaculata Catholic Primary School of Ende 8.

Abstract Many instructional strategies play an important role in science learning, especially for cooperative learning. This research study is to observe and analyze how the student cooperates in teaching and learning of science in online learning. This research used qualitative research methods, and observation and interviews as a tool to collect the data. The observations were conducted at an international junior high school in Kota Bandung, included 15 female students and 1 teacher as participants. Instruments of research that we used are the rubric of the teaching-learning process, the rubric of student activity, and the rubric of the cooperative learning model. From the data analysis, the learning model used in this online class meeting is proper enough for it is fulfilled the syntax of cooperative learning. So Cooperative learning models can be a good way to teach much content at a time effectively. However, managing students to be more active is needed in the learning process.

<p>This research was conducted for the purpose of getting a clear and complete <br />picture conserning the quality of teaching and learning process through eveloping and implementing jigsaw type cooparative learning model for subject of Thermodynamics. The quality of teaching and learning process can be viewed by positive response of university students towards thermodynamics subject using the implemented jigsaw type cooparative learning model. The subject of this research were students of high school class X, semester II in the academic year of 2011/2012, which were listed as learning tools needed for thermodynamics of jigsaw type cooparative learning model. The learning tool which were being developed consist of teaching materials, learning plan, and student worksheet. The research prosedure consisted of developing the tools of teaching and learning process, and the followed by realization of learning in class using the jigsaw type cooparative learning approach. The research instruments were to be observation sheet and student response questionaire towards the learning process. The reseach data were analyzed using percentage statistic. Based on the refection result towards the action which was planned beforehand and also the researh result discussion, it was found that the learning process of hermodynamics which was done by implementing the jigsaw type cooparative learning model can increase student activity in his study. Implementing the jigsaw type cooperative learning can increase the learning result of students. Most of the students who partisipated in the thermodynamics class agree and give a positive apreciation towards the implementation of cooperative learning model. They believe that with the learning group can help them overcoming the learning deterrent. </p><p> </p>

The low of student’s achievements were indicated because the students were not active and the teacher’s lack of skill. This condition needs a further research in order to improve the student’s achievement through cooperative learning type SAVI in impulse and momentum subject. The specific purposes of this research are to describe: 1) teacher’s skill, 2) the student’s achievements; 3) the students’ participation in the classroom; and 4) the students’ responses. These research were classroom action research that consists of 3 cycles. The instruments were used Lesson Plan, Worksheet, Evaluation Sheet, affective scoring sheet, teacher’s skill and student’s participation observation sheet, and the students’ response observation sheet. The data were acquired by the observation results, questionnaire, and documentation. The results of this research were: 1) The teacher’s skill was improved from 99.21% to 96% and 99.28%; 2) the students’ achievements including cognitive and affective aspects were improved from 81.46% to 88.1%, and 90.96%; 3) The participation of students in teaching and learning process were also increased from 63.67% to 84.43%, and 85.5% in cycle III, 4) the students’ responses during teaching and learning process were very good. According to the results, it can be concluded that the achievements of XI IPA-1 students of SMA Negeri 1 Jorong in learning impulse and momentum were improved after the treatment of cooperative learning model type SAVI.

In improving the quality of school education and learning in the future, it is necessary to change the mindset that will be used as the basis for implementing a learning program. What's more in the co-19 pandemic period that requires students to be able to study at home without interacting in class for a while. In the past the learning process was conventional, namely face-to-face in class. But even then, most teaching processes are still dominated by teachers. As a result, teaching and learning activities place more emphasis on teaching and not on learning. Learning activities favor the interests of those who teach. Efforts for learning to be focused on students, it is necessary to apply a cooperative learning model which is a form of change in mindset in learning activities at school. However, during this pandemic, the next challenge is how the cooperative process can take place in the online learning process. The absence of a physical meetup becomes an obstacle that can be minimized by the adaptation of the teacher in the distance learning process. In this case the teacher no longer dominates the learning activities, but rather becomes the facilitator and mediator of the process. The cooperative learning model is designed by giving opportunities to students together to build their own knowledge.

This Classroom  Action Research was carried out at SMP PGRI 5 Denpasar class VIII H, second semester in academic year 2009/2010.  The purposes of this research  are: 1). to  know the process of  learning in the classroom, 2). to improve the quality of  the process of learning  History, and 3). to improve the students’ learning achievement in History through cooperative learning method type G.I. (Group Investigation). The learning activities  in the classroom were  held in two cycles, they are : cycle I and cycle II. Every cycle consists of four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The techniques used for collecting the data  are  as follows : (1) distributing observation sheet, (2) taking notes on some documents, (3) conducting interviews to the subjects and (4) giving formative tests.  For the data analysis in this study, descriptive qualitative analysis and simple quantitative analysis are used.. The result of this research showed that  the application of learning process of History using cooperative leaning method type G.I. could be well applied to the students of class VIII H second semester in SMP PGRI 5 Denpasar ; Group Investigation method could sharpen the students’ ability academically as well as socially; the application of cooperative learning model G.I. could increase the quality of  History learning process based on the result of observation from the students’ activities during the learning process which showed better result in every session from cycle I to cycle II. Futhermore, the students showed their enthusiasm and high motivation in doing their tasks, presentations and discussions. Besides, their attention, concentration, interaction, creativity, cooperation in group and their work in the form of worksheet or report showed better increase; the application of cooperative learning type G.I. could increase the students’ achievement in learning History, with the average absorption capacity around 70,9 %. And the learning mastery  level is around 69 % in the cycle I and it increased in cycle II becoming 73,1 % with absorption capacity 73,1% and the learning mastery level is  100%. Thus, the cooperative learning model G.I. could be applied as one of the alternatives in learning History at  school  because it could increase the students’  enthusiasm and also the students’ learning achievement.

This research was carried out in Class IX-A of Singaraja State Middle School 2 in the even semester of the 2017/2018 school year, with the condition that the average learning achievement was only 63.37, this condition was very low and did not meet the minimal expected score. The percentage of achievement has only reached 50.00%. The purpose of writing this class action research was to improve the learning achievement of Indonesian Language through the implementation of the TGT cooperative learning model. The data was collected assessment of poetry written by students, then analyzed using quantitative descriptive methods. Data was presented in the form of average learning achievement and completeness learning process. The results obtained from this study were the development of very positive learning achievements. At first the average student achievement was only; 63,37 with learning completeness only; 50.00%, then after the implementation of Cycle I it increased to an average; 76.42 with learning completeness reaching 72.97%. From cycle I to cycle II there was also an increase which reached an average of 83.26 and learning completeness was 91.89%. The conclusion obtained from this study is that the implementation of the TGT cooperative learning model can improve Indonesian learning achievement in writing poetry for students of class IX-A in the even semester of the academic year 2017/2018. The problem that underlies this research is the lack of collaboration and mathematics learning outcomes of students of class IX C of SMP N 4 Sumbang. This can be seen if students have difficulty in understanding the material, students tend to be quiet and do not want to cooperate with friends, even though the cooperation of students is very necessary to achieve the success of teaching and learning. To create student cooperation in the learning process, a learning model is needed. One such learning model is the TAI (Teams Assisted Individualization) type of cooperative learning model, where the model is oriented towards collaboration, both mentally, attitudes, and socially. The purpose of this research is to find out the improvement of cooperation and learning outcomes in mathematics through the application of cooperative learning models in the form of sequence and series TAI material. This research is a Classroom Action Research. Learning tools, namely syllabus, lesson plans, teaching materials, and worksheets. While the research instrument is the description test and observation sheet. The subjects of the study were 22 students of the IXC class at SMPN 4 Sumbang. Data sources come from teachers and students. Data collection techniques are by observation, and tests. The study was conducted in December 2017 until April 2018. The subject and time of the study were chosen because the researcher taught in the class and the implementation time was adjusted to the lesson schedule. The research procedure begins with problem identification, action planning, implementation of actions and observations, and analysis and reflection. The results showed that the ability of student cooperation, from the first cycle the percentage of student cooperation with the category of "quite good" 27% and the category of "good" by 73% to the category of "good" 54% and the category of "very good" by 45% in the second cycle. Student learning outcomes in the first cycle obtained an average of 72.18 with a classical completeness of 59.09% and an increase in the second cycle an average value of 80.36 with a classical completeness of 81.82%. From these results it is recommended that teachers be able to clarify the process of assessing the ability of students to collaborate in the learning process, so that the implementation of learning can run smoothly. While students are advised to increase collaboration so that individual and group learning outcomes can be achieved to the maximum.

This research is based on low science learning achievement of student in class IIIA SD Negeri 191 Pekanbaru with the of students reach KKM is 20.51%. This research is a classroom action research. This research aims to science learning outcomes of students by implementing the cooperative learning model of type Make a Match. There are 39 students in the class, consisting of 21 boys and 18 girls. The instruments of data collection in this study were observation sheets of teacher activities and student activities as well as tests of science learning outcomes. The qualitative analysis showed an improvement of learning process prior to treatment of the first cycle to the second cycle. The result of this research showed an increase in student from the based score with the percentage 20,51%, to 53,85% on the first test and 87,18% on the second test. From the result of this study concluded that cooperative learning model of type make a match can improve the students learning achievement at class IIIA SD Negeri 191 Pekanbaru in the first semester academic years 2018/2019.

This research was the Classroom Action Research. The research was conducted caused the students lack in learning process actively. Therefore, the researcher applied Cooperative Learning Model Articulation Method and Time Token that considered the eagerness as the motivation for the students in order that they be able to follow the learning process actively. It is expected to have an impact of  learning achievment obviously. This classroom action research has an objective to increase eagerness and students learning achievement of X1 class of Senior High School 1 of Trimurjo. From this research can be inferred that there were an increasing the eager to study of the students. It  perceived to the activity of the students in pre-research towards the activity after doing research based on the increasing of evaluation product. The researcher recommend using Cooperative Learning Model Articulation Method And Time Token be able to apply in learning process in order to increase the eagerness and students learning achievement considered the time within the arranging of lesson plan.Kata kunci: artikulasi, time token, minat, hasil belajar

The researchers conducted direct observation at the State Polytechnic Creative Media PSDD Medan. The object of the research includes learning on the subject of Basic Programming. The researchers found several phenomena including: 1). The subject of Basic Programming is a subject in which the material guides students to think logically in solving problems through algorithms in the form of coding (instructions). 2). Learning set used the textbook. 3). Teaching and learning process was conducted conventionally. The lecturer delivered the material in the textbooks to the students, the conclusion of the material was written on the white board. 4). Tools used on the subject of the Basic Programming were the C ++ programming language. Based on the phenomenon, the researchers found several problems including: 1). Low skill and the students had not mastered the material that has not been achieved in learning the subject of basic programming. 2). Students did not respond when interacting in question and answer session, which impacted the learning process become non-interactive. 3). Independence and active role of students in learning the subject of basic programming had not been seen because learning was lecturer centered. 4). Learning model that was centered on the lecturer made the students unable to think creatively and solve new problem presented by the lecturer on the subject of basic programming. Based on the explanation above, in this research, the researchers developed a learning model used in learning the subject of Basic Programming that is a blended learning model using an e-book integrated with the Learning Management System (LMS).
