Facing the challenges of globalization in the field of education, the presence of information and communication technology has a significant influence on learning activities. The main challenge, including even the most sophisticated education system, lies in the capacity of educators to use ICT effectively in educational activities. The contribution of ICTs in building new relationships between higher education and the community, to bridge the education gap, policy makers are required to prepare strategies to produce knowledge-based skills and capacities. This type of research is qualitative. The data source consists of primary data and secondary data. Research informants are users or users of E-learning. Data collection techniques in the form of literature review of books, journals, reports on the use of information and communication technology in the education field from updated sources and observed case observations. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation and data verification. The results of the study found that the benefits of ICT for education functioned as a tool for lifelong learning; bring changes in the role of educators in teaching and the role of learners in learning; provide open access to material and interactive information through the network; eliminate time and space constraints in the learning environment; support learning and education organizations and management; and open opportunities for collaboration. Integration of ICT in e-learning into a process of internalizing values in ICT learning can be transformed, so that by integrating education in e-learning as teaching material, habituation, assignment, and exemplary become integral, holistic parts, which are continually being studied, understood, practiced in everyday life. The contribution of ICT in e-learning to the success of the world of education is a strategy of implementation and professional development in the field of ICT must refer to learning and teaching activities

The amount of information to be accumulated at university has been increasing in recent years, so students nowadays are moving towards using computers in the learning process. Application of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), particularly educational software, to facilitate the learning and teaching process has become a more and more popular trend among teachers. In Thai Nguyen University of Technology (TNUT), Vietnam, a multi-disciplinary virtual learning environment (http://e-learning.tnut.edu.vn) has been established on the MOODLE platform. The aim of this paper is to introduce the design of self-practice listening and vocabulary exercises for the TOEFL-ITP preparation course by integrating the exercises designed with the Hot Potatoes and Quizlet into TNUT’s institutional e-learning system. First, the advantages of the e-learning system are discussed. Second, the tools and materials necessary for the design are described. Finally, a suggestion on integrating the listening and vocabulary exercises designed by the Hot Potatoes software and Quizlet into the available e-learning system is introduced.

ICT (Information and Communication Technology ) is the mostly discussed and observed subject matter now a days. In the all round progress of an economy , this sector has a key role to play. An economy cannot thrive well with proper information and communication technology. In driving the development of financial inclusion and sustainable development the role played by information and communication technology , cannot be overlooked. This infrastructure plays a crucial role ,enhancing the technical progress and thereby total productivity of the economy. Moreover previous findings have also showed a positive correlation of ICT on economic growth. This paper studies the role of ICT by using a multiple regression analysis. We have used mainly secondary data to arrive a logical conclusion. It is expected that this paper will help the policy makers and the researchers in analyzing and understanding the importance of financial inclusiveness for economic development.

This paper is concerned with the improvement of teaching and learning process through the adoption of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and e-learning in Jordanian higher education institutions particularly in The Hashemite University (HU). The main challenge of the study is to provide such an understanding of how ICT and e-learning would be accepted through applying the Diffusion of Innovation (DOI) theory. Factors influencing user acceptance and adoption of ICT in Jordan on student motivations for the acceptance of technologies necessary for the delivery of e-learning activities are handled in this paper. The findings show the significant relationship between student's perception of technology characteristics and their attitude towards using the technology in the educational system.

This paper presents the design of the Patrimonializarte program, which has been implemented in six classes and three different educational levels in two schools in Galicia (Spain). It involves working with elements of heritage in proximity to the schools’ pupils by employing Information and Communication Technology (ICT) tools. The objectives are (a) to find out if the design is coherent and relevant according to expert judgement and (b) to discover whether the activities related with new technologies are effective according to the evaluation of those involved in the program. This is evaluation research employing mixed methods in which a collective study of cases is carried out. The main results show (1) the evaluation of the design and the tools of the program achieve an optimal degree of agreement according to the panel of experts as far as the variables measured are concerned, and (2) the schoolchildren and teaching staff provide a positive evaluation of the use of ICT tools for working with heritage. E-learning and m-learning make it possible to motivate pupils in the learning and teaching process. Working with ICT tools acquires importance with regard to the possibilities they offer to disseminate the heritage. An integral evaluation of programs is considered relevant in order to understand their multi-dimensionality.

In the last few decades, Information Technology has transformed the entire world into a village, known as Global Village, as proposed by Marshal McLuhan. ICT has increased its influence in every field like the education sector, defense sector, technology etc. In the 21st century, information and communication technology (ICT) has become an important and integral part of most educational organizations throughout the world.. The use of ICT in classroom teaching and learning processes has become indispensable as it gives teachers and learners the opportunity to operate, store, control and retrieve data in addition to promoting self-regulated and active learning. (Ali, Haolader & Muhammad, 2013) Today we are dependent on technology and the role of ICT is increasing day by day and is believed to be a new normal. Keeping that in view, the present paper attempts to examine the relationship between information and communication technologies (ICT) and student learning. This conceptual paper  is based on secondary information collected from different sources such as books, journal articles, newspapers, reports of various government organizations, non-governmental organizations and soon.
