<p>We consider pursuing the Jordanian women their graduate studies in Information Technology disciplines as an indicator of socio-economic development and empowering women in Jordan. This paper presents the first study of multi-variate stereotypes that shape the problem by addressing the following factors: travel abroad, family matters, skills and experience, traditional and cultural differences, scholarship opportunities, financial matters, and language complications. These factors were extensively studied, and their effects were estimated by applying the linear-regression, one-way ANOVA, and Scheffe tests. The scholarship opportunity (R2 = 0:354), travel abroad (R2 = 0:281), and financial matters (R2 = 0:226) were the most influential factors on Jordanian women’s decision in pursuing their graduate studies. On the other hand, skills and experience stereotype (R2 = 0:076) has the least influence.</p>

This study targeted to uncover the trends of using of visual sources in the teaching process, Art Education at the Hashemite University was devoted to and identify the effect of both gender and experience on visual sources. The sample consisted of field training students in the fourth year art education major in the College of Science Pedagogical Among the students of the Hashemite University for the academic year 2019/2020, and they were chosen in an intentional way and were developed to measure these trends and were of sufficient validity and stability for the purposes of this study, and the study tool was distributed to all students, as their number reached (583)Male and female students The study found the following results: The results of the study revealed positive trends for me Students, Towards the use of visual sources in a process Teaching, there were statistically significant differences attributed to sex and that in favor of females Where I got an arithmetic mean (3.49), while males got a mean (3.30), and the difference was statistically significant at the level of (α=0.05). While there were also statistically significant differences attributed to the experience in visual sources and equipment, in favor of the average experiences, as they got an arithmetic average (3.54), while the large experiences got an arithmetic average (3.53), and the few experiences got an arithmetic mean (3.41), and the difference was statistically significant at the level of (α=0.05). It yielded search results The researcher presented a number of recommendations About The use of visual sources in the teaching process.

<span lang="EN-US">This study investigates experimentally the performance of two-dimensional solar tracking systems with reflector using commercial silicon based photovoltaic module, with open and closed loop control systems. Different reflector materials were also investigated. The experiments were performed at the Hashemite University campus in Zarqa at a latitude of 32⁰, in February and March. Photovoltaic output power and performance were analyzed. It was found that the modified photovoltaic module with mirror reflector generated the highest value of power, while the temperature reached a maximum value of 53 ̊ C. The modified module suggested in this study produced 5% more PV power than the two-dimensional solar tracking systems without reflector and produced 12.5% more PV power than the fixed PV module with 26⁰ tilt angle.</span>

Abstract Background: Elective course is one of 6th-year medical schools curriculum in Jordan. Students choose the specialty they wish to spend 8 weeks in and choose the place even if it is outside their universitys' affiliated hospitals. In this study, we try to understand students' choices regarding the country of elective, their specialty, type of placements (observership/ clerkship), and participants' perspectives about the elective course and its general value. Methods: Cross-sectional study. The survey distributed through social media platforms (mainly Facebook and Whatsapp) targeting 6th-year medical students and doctors who graduated from one of the 5 Jordanian medical schools (the University of Jordan, Jordan University of Science and Technology, Mutah University, Yarmouk University, Hashemite University). Results: The majority of participants had international elective (69.6%), mainly in the USA followed by the UK. Internal medicine was the field of interest for 14.8%, followed by general surgery 11.2%. 241 (62.6%) actively participated in the elective as they had a clerkship/ hands-on experience. In contrast, 142 (36.9%) were observers. The majority indicated that the elective is worth time, money, and effort. Moreover, they had adequate supervision throughout the course and could achieve their preset objectives. Conclusions: the elective course gives a unique experience to our students. The general satisfaction is an indicator of the success of the course in exposing medical students to clinical practice actively.

The current study aimed at identifying the level of the fear of Novel Coronavirus (covid-19) among the students of the Hashemite University in Jordan, in the light of the following variables: faculty, academic year, sex, religion, residence, social status, birth order, family income, chronic diseases and Facebook account on a sample of 852 male and female students. As for the study tool, the researcher used the scale of fear of Corona based on the statistical analysis of the arithmetic means and standard deviations, as well as (ANOVA- Analysis of Corona. The study came to some results, prominent among which were: the existence of moderate fear of Corona. According to the demographic variables, there were differences of statical significance among the students in the fear of Corona in the light of two variables only: suffering from chronic diseases, and the family income standard. As for the rest of the variables, they had no effect in the differences among students regarding the fear of Corona. Based upon these results, the current study will be a qualitative addition to the current scientific research about the Corona Pandemic, particularly, in the study of the psychological implications of the impact of the Corona Virus on the people of the world.   Received: 26 October 2020 / Accepted: 8 February 2021 / Published: 5 March 2021
