Effects of auto-exhaust pollution on the leaf structure of Olea europea L. (Olive) were determined. Olive leaves were collected from three areas, such as, no low and heavy traffic areas with different traffic intensity. Anatomical layer thickness of leaves was studied in cross sections. Results showed that, the least values of layer thickness of leaves and total leaf thickness were obtained from high traffic area. Auto-exhaust pollution caused chlorosis and necrosis in morphological structure of olive leaves as well. The plant tolerated traffic-based pollution stress by decreasing anatomical layer thickness, however chlorosis occurred. Therefore, olive leaves can be used as a bio-indicator for traffic-based pollution because of their higher sensitivity to exhausts gases.

The research investigated the carbon monoxide concentrations in heavy traffic areas of Maiduguri metropolitan between three weeks has been performed. Maiduguri City is located at latitudes 11 42N and 12 00 N and longitudes 12.54 and 13 14 E and has a land area of 543 km2 in the Northern-Eastern region of Nigeria. The high concentration of Carbon monoxide (CO) pollutants in high traffics area of Post office of Maiduguri city. The high traffic area (HTA) was selected for the research and the concentration of Carbon monoxide was monitored and measured, monitoring and measurement were planned daily between 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. for three weeks. The average result obtained was the highest point of 36 ppm and lowest point of 12 ppm in the three weeks, the highest point is above both WHO and FEPA points of 25 ppm and 30 ppm, respectively.

Air pollutant levels in Bangkok are generally high in street tunnels. They are particularly elevated in almost closed street tunnels such as an area under the Bangkok sky train platform with high traffic volume where dispersion is limited. There are no air quality measurement stations in the vicinity, while the human population is high. In this research, the numerical simulation is used to measure the air pollutant levels. The three-dimensional air pollution measurement model in a heavy traffic area under the Bangkok sky train platform is proposed. The finite difference techniques are employed to approximate the modelled solutions. The vehicle air pollutant emission due to the high traffic volume is mathematically assumed by the pollutant sources term. The simulation is also considered in averaged and moving pollutant sources due to manner vehicle emission. The proposed approximated air pollutant concentration indicators can be replaced by user required gaseous pollutants indices such as NOx, SO2, CO, and PM2.5.

The aim of the project is to help differently able person, especially blind or visually impaired people, who are unable to recognize the object which is coming towards them. When a visually impaired person navigates into the heavy traffic area, it is difficult for them to cross the street. The outcome of the project is to give a signal to the visually impaired person, so that he/she can be able to keep themselves in a safe/static zone and is easy to use for the visually impaired person. In this project we use glass sensors having an accurate and precise sensor (VL53L1X) which is based on the LIDAR which will calculate the distance between objects or hurdles in front of blind person and respond. For response we have use a vibrating mini motor which will alert the blind person by giving vibrating alert. A vibration will be produced in accordance with the distance. Nearer the object, faster will be the vibration and far the object, slower will be the vibration. We have tried to make a user friendly and handy equipment by using a power supply of 3.7V battery, which is rechargeable, compact in size and easy to use by the user. An Arduino Nano is being used to reduce complexity of circuit and to produce the required output.

One of the most important factors in the structure of the pile foundation in the construction of the bridge is the carrying capacity of the soil so as not to collapse. Construction of a bridge in the village of Klitik in Jombang Regency to be built due to heavy traffic volume. The foundation plan to be used is a pile foundation with a diameter of 50 cm, the problem is what is the value of carrying capacity of soil and material. The equipment used is the Dutch Cone Penetrometer with a capacity of 2.50 tons with an Adhesion Jacket Cone. The detailed specifications of this sondir are as follows: Area conus 10 cm², piston area 10 cm², coat area 100 cm², as for the results obtained The carrying capacity of the soil is 60.00 tons for a diameter of 30 cm, 81,667 tons for a diameter of 35 cm, 106,667 tons for a diameter of 40 cm, 150,000 tons for a diameter of 50 cm for material strength of 54,00 tons for a diameter of 30 cm, 73,500 tons for a diameter of 35 cm, 96,00 tons for a diameter of 40 cm, 166,666 tons for a diameter of 50 cm

Job satisfaction is an important factor for employees working in formal and informal sector. The job is small or big, permanent or temporary, risky or non-risky, job satisfaction is important. It is the mental feeling which drives the employees to excel. Job satisfaction is a combination of psychological, physiological and environmental circumstances. A satisfied employee is a contented and happy human being. The labour turnover depends upon job satisfaction. Even highly paid employees quit the job when they are not satisfied with the job. Road transportation in Tamilnadu is growing day by day. Job stress in the road transportation is very high due to increase in number of vehicle playing on the road and heavy traffic. The drivers and conductors working in public transport corporation are suffering from high job stress. If drivers and conductors are not satisfied with their job which leads to mental stresses and affects the productivity and also creates accidents. In this present study the researchers made an attempt to study the level of job satisfaction among the drivers and conductors who are working in the Tamilnadu State Transport Corporation (TNSTC). The study reveals the expectations of drivers and conductors working in TNSTC with regards to the attributes like salary, promotion and fringe benefits etc., are satisfactory and not detrimental.
