The article presents the results of biochemical studies of the total antioxidant activity of the hepatoprotective collection of plant origin and its individual components, which show that it consists of birch leaves (Betulae folia), tansy flowers (Tanaceti flores), phytohepatol No. 2 (choleretic collection No. 2) and individual its components have pronounced antioxidant activity. More antioxidant activity founded in tansy and true hepatoprotective collection. Comparative tests of the flowers of meadowsweet, with the highest antioxidant activity, showed the promise of their use in the collections of medicinal plants as effective natural metabolic regulators. The total antioxidant activity of the water extract collection at 13.56% rel. exceeded the calculated value obtained by summing the activities of the individual components of the collection, which indicates the presence of synergism in their action, which may be of value for use in the treatment and prevention of liver diseases. When all components of the drug collection are finished, the indicator increases by 11-24 % rel., which indicates the thermal stability of the antioxidant substances that make up their composition. In the oxidation of aqueous extracts of the components of hepatoprotective collection with hydrogen peroxide, the most stable were antioxidants of birch leaves. It was found that collection only at a ratio of 7.7 g per liter of water shows synergism (15 % rel.), and the rest of all the samples we tested are antagonistic. The detected increase in the antioxidant activity of the new collection compared with the effects of its individual components allows us to consider it as a promising dosage form for use in the treatment and prevention of liver diseases.

Antioxidant compounds play a significant role in preventing and scavenging free-radicals by reducing oxidative stress and providing protection to humans against degenerative diseases and infections. Obviously, antioxidant molecules of plant origin are pivotal to combat the oxidative harm in cells. Present work intended to evaluate the antioxidant capacity of the fruits of Spondias pinnata. Methanol extracts of the fruits at two stages of maturity were prepared and investigated by various antioxidants analyses such as total antioxidant activity, reducing power and radical scavenging assays (DPPH, nitric oxide and hydrogen peroxide). Its total phenol, flavonoid and tannin contents were also determined. Spondias pinnata fruit extracts exhibited effective antioxidant activity and its IC50 values of the unripe fruits were 65, 66, 72.23, 83.25, 66.75 ?g/ml and ripe fruits were 124.24, 92.50, 97.66, 144.10, 72.25 ?g/ml, for total antioxidant activity, reducing power, DPPH radical scavenging, nitric oxide radical scavenging and hydrogen peroxide scavenging assays respectively. The extracts, especially unripe fruit extract had good amounts of total phenolic and flavonoid contents which might contribute the antioxidant activities considerably. It is evident from the study that the fruits of S. pinnata possessed potent antioxidant activity and it can be considered as a good dietary choice among the underutilized fruits as well as common fruits. Therefore, wild mango may be a good choice of antioxidants of plant origin for dietary and pharmaceutical uses.

Expanding research to find sources for new effective and environmentally friendly fish feed additives based on natural plant-based raw materials is a pressing agricultural concern Biotechnology. This is especially true because feed additives for fish farming, as opposed to the use of feed additives for farm animals, come into contact with the environment of reservoirs and, accordingly, can have a significant impact on the ecosystem water environment for all inhabitants of reservoirs for breeding fish as aquaculture. The article presents the results of a biochemical study of the total antioxidant activity of the developed feed additives based on the components of the grain of spring wheat (Triticum) of the Kazan Jubilee and amaranth herbs (Amaranthus cruentus L) Shuntuk varieties from the collection of the botanical garden of the All-Russian Research Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants. We show that when applying the technological equipment for grinding the original components for the preparation of feed additives, the total antioxidant activity of the wheat and amaranth grain fractions after grinding depends on the degree of the grinding or from the variance of component particles after sowing on the Sith. It is shown that when preparing fish feed it is best to use wheat with the size of particles 0.25-0.4 mm, which corresponds to the maximum manifestation of the total antioxidant activity of the crushed grain. For the first time in the experiment revealed a synergistic effect on the manifestation of total antioxidant activity when adding protein-vitamin flour from dry amaranth herb to the crushed wheat grain with a maximum value of 4% of its content from the total mass Feed.

The study of the biological characteristics of feed crops and the use of modern methods in the study of the processes of their selection is relevant for the intensification of feed production. The article presents the results of a biochemical study of the giant VIK-2 (Agrostis gigantea Roth) field birch seed, their sowing and yield properties after thermal dehydration (drying of air-dried samples at 105 oС to constant weight), as well as their total antioxidant activity during germination in the dark. The total antioxidant activity of seeds and seedlings was studied using coulometric analysis and determined using electrogenerated bromine, the samples were analyzed on a certified couponometer Expert-006 (LLC Econix-Expert, Russia) using a certified method. The work shows that, compared with air drying after thermohydration, there is a decrease in the viability and yield properties of seeds. Seed germination decreased by 5.5%, the height of plants at the end of the germination period (on the 14th day after sowing) by 9.4%, the mass of 100 sprouts – by 21.3%, the yield of green mass (microgreen) also by 21.3%. The antioxidant activity of seeds after thermal dehydration also decreased by 21.4%. For the first time, data were obtained on the viability, formation of microgreen biomass and a change in the total antioxidant activity of the seeds of the VIK-2 giant cultivar after thermal dehydration (drying the initial seeds) in the test at 105 °C to constant weight. It was shown that thermal dehydration of seeds at 105 °C significantly affects the viability of seeds and seedlings of a bent field, which is associated with the characteristics of metabolism, forms and state of water activity in cells and tissues of plants.

The authors carried out in the fieldwork with a new variety of amaranth «Lipetsky». In order to identify qualitative and quantitative laws of manifestation of the total antioxidant activity of amaranth the leaves were collected in different phases of plant vegetation, dehydrated in mild conditions of air-shadow drying and subsequently dried under harsh conditions 105º C to a constant mass of samples. Testing of plant samples was carried out using a coulometric method of titration (author's method) of free bromine radicals generated in the aquatic environment by plant titrant (water extract dried in the shade at a temperature of 22º±3°C of leaves). It was examined the combined samples of 10 samples of plant leaves of different tiers and of different ages with field plot of 10 ha. Biometric averages of plants during the growing season: growth, the weight of plants, number of leaves, the weight of leaves, stem and inflorescence of the plant are given. This shows the dynamics of total antioxidant activity of leaves of amaranth during the growing season. The thermal stability of the total antioxidant activity (TAA) for combined extracts of 10 samples of leaves of different ages and from different parts of plants when they are drying at 105°C was tested. The dynamics of change, TAA aqueous extracts of the dried amaranth samples with different stages of the growing season corresponds to the previously identified trends in the availability of high quantitative values in the phase of mass budding beginning of flowering and minima in the initial growth phases (3-8 leaves) and ripening of seed for different varieties of amaranth. There were revealed the increase in antioxidant activity upon drying amaranth samples at 105°C, revealed a new type of qualitative dynamics of TAA, while vegetation with a characteristic quantitative changes by more than 50% for the beginning of the growth phase (the first phase of 3-8 leaves) and the final phase of seed maturation.

Currently available on the pharmaceutical market drugs do not fully have high antioxidant activity, so the search for new means to prevent and eliminate liver damage is relevant. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the use of vyazolistnogo labaznik to increase the antioxidant activity of hepatoprotective collections of plant origin. Water extracts of hepatoprotective collection (GPS) have significant antioxidant activity, which is reflected by its linear dependence on the amount of GPS taken for extraction with a confidence value of approximation R2 of 0.989. Total antioxidant activity (TAA) the collection infusion increased from 0.690 to 4.883 g of rutin (Ru) per 1 dm3 when brewing from 5 g to 40 g of collection per 1 liter of boiling water, while the linear dependence twice reaches the plateau when the amount of collection taken for extraction is 10-12 g and 18-21 g, the TAA of GPS infusions was 1.35±0.004 and 2.26±0.11 g of Ru per 1 dm3. To increase the TAA of the water extract of GPS, an aqueous extract of dried flowers of elmberry (Filipendula ulmaria (L.) Maxim) was used, obtained in a similar way. The TAA of water extracts of GPS as the labasnik extract was added increased to its content of 30 % wt., and the effects of synergy (TAAexcess) – decreased to 0 (labasnik content of 35 % wt.), passing into antagonism according to the linear equation with a confidence value of approximation R2 0.981. Comparative tests of water extracts of laburnum flowers and GPS in closed containers for storing biological samples at a temperature of +5 °C in the refrigerator showed that the TAA of water extraction of laburnum flowers in g Ru by 1 dm3 from the number of days of its aging decreases according to the linear equation with the approximation confidence value R2 0.927, and GPS increases – R2 0.965.

The article presents the results of a biochemical study of aqueous environments with molecular hydrogen by antioxidant activity. Activated hydrogen has selective antioxidant activity against dangerous free radicals for the human body and animals. In addition, its anti-inflammatory, anti-apoptotic, anti-allergic properties were found and it stimulates energy metabolism in cells. This problem is currently relevant due to the great interest in activated hydrogen as an antioxidant over the past ten years, but its quantitative metabolic parameters have not yet been assessed at a sufficient scientific level. The total antioxidant activity of aqueous systems saturated with hydrogen was studied using coulometric analysis. It has been shown that their total antioxidant activity increases depending on the quality of aqueous media and the operating time of the “Aquaspectr Hydrogen Mug Mug for Activating Water” device: for Arkhyz mineral water, 20 times after 26 minutes of hydrogen saturation, drinking natural oxalis Kristalia with mineral drinking medicinal water DonatMg (in volume ratio) 31 times after 55 minutes and DonatMg mineral drinking medical water 44 times after 28 minutes. The total antioxidant activity was determined using electrically generated bromine, the samples were analyzed on a certified Expert-006 coulometer (Econix-Expert LLC, Russia) according to a certified method. In the work it was shown that saturation of water systems, in particular mineral and drinking water, by the method of hydrogen evolution on the surface of containers from environmentally friendly magnesium alloys, can be quite an effective way to activate various liquid media with antioxidants used in environmental medicine. In addition, our results can be useful in solving scientific and technical problems in the development of alternative energy sources.
