The purpose of this study is to see how transactional leadership affects employee performance using work satisfaction as a moderating variable. The methodologies used in this investigation are quantitative. The participants in this study were 100 employees of the Malang Regency's Kepanjen tax office. The sampling technique used a probability sampling technique with an accidental sampling approach. The sample used is 80 employees. Collecting data using questionnaires and interviews. Partially Least-Square Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) was utilized to analyze the data in this study. Transactional leadership has a good and significant effect on employee performance, according to the findings. Job satisfaction can moderate the impact of transactional leadership on employee performance at the Malang district tax service.

This study aims to examine the effect of the organizational culture and the leadership upon job satisfaction and job performance of the employees. The samples of this study are 125 employees of PT Promed Farma at the manufacturing division applying the proportional random sampling technique. And the hypothesis test has applied the Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) method. The Result of the Analysis has indicated that the organizational culture and the leadership have positively affecting job satisfaction. Organizational culture and job satisfaction have significantly and positively affected job performance of the employees, nevertheless, directly leadership has not significantly affected job performance of the employees. This research has proven that the organizational culture and the leadership have indirectly provided bigger effect upon job performance of the employees when it has been built up thru the highest level of job satisfaction. The variables of the organizational culture, leadership and job satisfaction have determined job performance of the employees which is 75% and the rest of 25% has been determined by other variables that have not been studied yet. Keywords: Organizational Culture, leadership style, job satisfaction and employee performance.

The purpose of this study was to describe the effect of intrinsic motivation, interpersonal communication and transformational leadership on job satisfaction to improve employee performance. This reserch consist of five variables, these variables were tree independent variables (exogen), one dependent variable (Endogen), and one intervening variable. The three independent variables were intrinsic motivation, interpersonal communication, and transformational leadership. Whereas, the dependent variable was employee performance, and the intervening variable was job satisfaction. This study was conducted at the Office of the Ministry of Religion in Serang Banten. The purposive sampling technique was used based on judgment sampling to 81 respondents. The primary data was collected through a checklist and open-ended questioner. Data were analyzed by Structural Equation Modelling technique using SmartPLS software. There six of Seven hypotheses that have been supported or accepted: intrinsic motivation positive and significant impact on job satisfaction, interpersonal communication positive and significant impact on job satisfaction, transformational positive and significant impact on job satisfaction, intrinsic motivation positive and significant impact on employee performance, transformational leadership positive and significant impact on employee performance, and job satisfaction positive and significant impact on employee performance. While there was one hypothesis is unsupported or rejected: interpersonal communication positive but insignificant impact on employee performance.

The research was conducted at BUMN Company of Defence Industry in West Java consists of the District and the city of PT Pindad, PT Dahana, PT Dirgantara Indonesia, PT LEN and PT Inti. The purpose of this study to determine, assess and analyze descriptive and verification of transformational leadership, employee commitment, motivation, job satisfaction and employee performance. Sample of this study using sampling technique cluster proporsional stratified  random sampling. Methods of data collection using questionnaries. This research method using descriptive and verivicative with analysis technique of Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). Results from descriptive studies prove that transformational leadership rating of effective categories, employee commitment rating of strong categories, motivation rating of high categories, job satisfaction  rating of satisfied categories and employee performance rating of high categories, but there are still some emploies who rate not good perception. The results of the verivication studies prove that transformational Leadership, employee commitment and motivation has a positive and significant impact on the job satisfaction  either partially or simultaneously and job satisfaction has a positive and significant impact on employee performance.

The context of this study focused on the role of training in improving employee performance through job satisfaction on front liners of PT. Smartfren Telecom, Tbk, Malang City. This study aimed to determine and analyze the effect of training on employee performance, both directly and indirectly, through the mediation of job satisfaction. The sample used in this study was employees who work as Front Liners, which were divided into Customer Service Representative (CSR) and Smartfren Gadget Specialist (SGS). The sample in this study included in saturated sampling was a sampling technique if all the population members were used as samples. The sample was 105 respondents. The analytical method used was descriptive analysis and Partial Least Square (PLS) using the warpPLS software application version 6.0. This study's results indicated that training has a significant effect on job satisfaction and employee performance, and mediation testing showed that job satisfaction provides a partial mediation role on the effect of training on employee performance. Further researchers need to consider a broader scope of research objects, both on the same research object and a larger scale, to enrich the results and research findings. This study also uses only a few indicators to reflect existing variables, so that further researchers can expand and integrate the research model by including several.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to determine the effect of the work environment, leadership style and organizational culture on job satisfaction and its implication toward the performance of the employees. Design/methodology/approach The research population was the whole 642 employees of Parador Hotels and Resorts, Indonesia. The amount of the samples was determined with the formula of Slovin, and the Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) sample consideration was equal to 200 employees. As many as 179 questionnaires were returned and sent for analysis. Proportionate stratified sampling was used for the sampling technique, and sample elements were determined by accidental sampling method. The analytical method used in this study was descriptive statistics and SEM–Partial Least Square with IBM Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (IBM SPSS) Statistics 22.0 software and WarpPLS 3.0 program. Findings The results show that work environment, leadership style and organizational culture have a positive and significant impact on job satisfaction, but only the leadership style has a positive and significant effect on the employee performance. Job satisfaction does not give a significant and positive effect on employee performance and it is not a mediating variable. Originality/value As indicated by the findings, the role of leaders in hotel industry, in this case general manager (gm), is of importance. Without a high-quality gm, job satisfaction and organizational culture will not be achieved.

The shortage of professional nurses in a hospital is to threaten service quality and patient safety. Inadequate compensation, no career development, and dissatisfaction can increase turnover intention. Increasing professional nurses' resilience is better than recruiting new nurses from an economic perspective. The research analyzed the effect of compensation and carrier development on job satisfaction and the impact on nurses' turnover intention in a private hospital in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. A quantitative research design with the cross-sectional approach was used. The sampling technique was simple random sampling. The samples consisted of 47 nurses who made a self-reported by filling out the questionnaire. Data analysis used Partial Least Square. The study found that compensation and career development had direct and significant effects on Turnover Intention. Moreover, compensation and career development also had indirect and significant Turnover Intention effects through job satisfaction as the intervening variable.
