Transmission of nosocomial infections from person to person must be prevented by always maintaining hand hygiene after carrying out inspection activities and interaction activities in hospitals, one of them by doing hand hygiene. Awareness of the importance of hand hygiene in health workers is needed in efforts to prevent nosocomial infections. The hand hygiene compliance rate obtained at One of Private Hospital in Yogyakarta is 80%. Awareness of the importance of the implementation of hand hygiene does not yet exist or has not emerged in the nurse itself, while it is very important in addition to protecting himself from the transmission of infection and can reduce the risk and spread of nosocomial infections in the hospital. This study uses an observational analytic method with a cross-sectional design. The sampling technique uses proportional random sampling, with the number of samples studied as many as 89 people. The research data were analyzed using the chi-square test. The p-value of 0.040 (p 0.05) indicates that there is a relationship between knowledge and nurse compliance in the implementation of hand hygiene. A p-value of 1.00 (p 0.05) indicates that there is no relationship between attitude and nurse compliance in the implementation of hand hygiene. P-value of 0.425 (p 0.05) indicates that there is no relationship between motivation and nurse compliance in the implementation of hand hygiene

The aim of this research was to analyze the effect of hospital brand image, service quality, and patient satisfaction on hospital service users in Denpasar, Bali. This study was conducted during the current pandemic. This study aimed at testing the important mediation role of service quality in relation to hospital brand image on patient satisfaction. This study took the research samples of 81 respondents who used medical services at hospitals in Denpasar. The simple random sampling technique was used to collect the data. The hypothesis test results show that hospital brand image positively, significantly influences patient satisfaction. Hospital brand image positively, significantly influences service quality. Service quality positively, significantly influences patient satisfaction.

Patient safety has become a global issue in the field of health service including hospital. Implementation of patient safety in the hospital requires the involvement of leadership, effective communication and patient’s trust. At X Hospital Jakarta, the root case that frequently occurs on patient safety incident is communication matter. This has an impact on the reoccurrence of patient safety incident. This research aims to analyze the influence of transformational leadership and effective communication towards the implementation of patient safety by trust as mediation. The method of this research is causal associative with quantitative approach. There are 37 nurses as  samples counted with G-Power Statistics application. The technique of collecting data uses primary data questionnaires and is processed by path analysis. The result shows that there is a great influence on transformational leadership towards trust.  Therefore, in implementing patient safety in hospital, it needs program development on transformational leadership; controlling, and evaluating the implementation of effective communication; and improving nursing care as a form of professional nursing practice to create and to maintain patient’s trust towards nurse.

The shortage of professional nurses in a hospital is to threaten service quality and patient safety. Inadequate compensation, no career development, and dissatisfaction can increase turnover intention. Increasing professional nurses' resilience is better than recruiting new nurses from an economic perspective. The research analyzed the effect of compensation and carrier development on job satisfaction and the impact on nurses' turnover intention in a private hospital in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. A quantitative research design with the cross-sectional approach was used. The sampling technique was simple random sampling. The samples consisted of 47 nurses who made a self-reported by filling out the questionnaire. Data analysis used Partial Least Square. The study found that compensation and career development had direct and significant effects on Turnover Intention. Moreover, compensation and career development also had indirect and significant Turnover Intention effects through job satisfaction as the intervening variable.

The implementation of safe and quality care with attention to patient safety, requires organization’s effort to create and cultivating patient safety culture. The purpose of this article was to map the instruments used in measuring patient safety culture in healthcare organizations. The method used integrated literature review from various sources of research articles published from 2015 to 2020. The article included if it was available in full text and open access as well as articles described the instruments of patient safety culture or measurement of patient safety culture using one of the instruments of measurement of patient safety culture. The results of the literature review unravel the findings of three instruments such as HSOPSC (Hospital Survey on Patient Safety Culture), MaPSaF (Manchester Patient Safety Assessment Framework) and SAQ (Safety Attitudes Questionnaire). We concluded all three instruments contained four dimensions of patient safety culture, namely open culture, just culture, reporting culture and learning culture and were widely used to measure patient safety culture in hospitals, primary health facilities and other health facilities.

Psychiatric disorders that arise due to Covid-19 include anxiety, depression, psychological trauma and the use of drugs to deal with tension caused by the pandemic. A total of 535 respondents (49%) out of 2,364 respondents had thoughts about death. Hospitals must make changes and mitigate, accelerate and adapt faster. This article aims to identify best practice strategies for suicide prevention to improve mental health services in hospitals. This study used queries: "suicide prevention", "covid" and "hospital". The inclusion criteria are English for the issue of 01/01/2020 - 05/10/2020, open access, full-text articles, all types of articles and have keywords. The exclusion criteria were the opposite of the inclusion criteria. The author obtained articles from SpringerLink (13 articles), Pubmed (17 articles), SAGE (4 articles), ProQuest (27 articles), and ScienceDirect (20 articles). Total of 6 articles is excluded because of duplication. 51 articles are excluded because they were not compatible with PICO. Ten articles were excluded because they were a systematic review. The author has 14 articles left for eligibility selection, and all articles are selected for full article review. The recommendation given is to provide comprehensive mental health services in the hospital.

Mental health problems among pregnant women must be prevented or managed to prevent more various possible complications that can occur to both mother and fetus, which can be carried out together with Antenatal Care (ANC). Telehealth is a technology-based approach to improving maternal health care. This study aims to discuss the implementation of ANC with telehealth towards pregnant women’s mental health. This study is a literature review conducted by searching databases of PubMed, Proquest, Cochrane Review, and EBSCOhost databases from 2000-2020. The result showed the mode of telehealth had been used varies in nine articles have reviewed, with the most participants were using handphones 56% and computers 11%, and both combination 22%, while application-based 45%, websites 22%, software 11%, internet 11%, and SMS 11%. Implementing telehealth with ANC made it possible to effectively detect early mental health and manage the problem. The result has also shown that telehealth has achieved a good satisfaction level. The common factors that influence telehealth's efficacy include income, education, the age of pregnant women, and gestational age. It can be concluded that telehealth with ANC can effectively improve mental health among pregnant women and be recommended for use by health care providers in pandemic COVID-19.

This study aimed at analyzing correlation between digital marketing and customer satisfaction and loyalty at general hospitals during the COVID-19 pandemic era. This study was a quantitative study with an observational design and a cross-sectional approach. The population of this study was the hospital’s customers with a total sample of 100 customers that had already received hospital services during the COVID-19 pandemic era and taken using a simple random sampling technique. Data analysis was done using Pearson’s correlation test. Digital marketing was perceived well by 84% of the respondents. Further, for customer satisfaction, it was shown that most respondents had a high satisfaction of 77%. For customer loyalty, it was shown that most respondents had a high loyalty of 75%. The result of data processing for correlation between digital marketing and the respondent’s satisfaction showed a significance level of 0.000 (p-value 0.05) with an r-value of 0.827. Meanwhile, correlation between digital marketing and the respondent’s loyalty showed a significance level of 0.000 (p-value 0.05) with an r-value of 0.655. Digital marketing and customer satisfaction and loyalty at general hospitals are correlated and it’s an effective way to improve hospital customer satisfaction and loyalty during the COVID-19 pandemic era.

Health-related infection (HAI) is a major problem facing hospitals affecting patients as well as healthcare workers around the world. There have not been many published systematic reviews on the implementation of infection prevention and control programs. The aim of this systematic review is to analyze the implementation of infection prevention and control programs in medical personnel. The research phase begins with the formulation of a research question (RQ) and data collection begins with a search for research with qualitative methods at Pubmed, Science Direct, Proquest, GARUDA and Google Scholar on "infection prevention and control", "IPC management", and "the implementation process. IPC "for health personnel, published between January 2015 and June 2020. A total of 106 publications were taken, method and abstract screening were conducted (n = 106), research was issued (n = 91), full text reviewed (n = 14) , articles that issue n = 0). Synthesized article (n = 14). Based on the maipcng results of 14 articles regarding the implementation of infection prevention and control programs for medical personnel, they are grouped into research focus and paper type categories. Gaps were identified related to lack of knowledge, awareness and commitment to the importance of IPC during health service delivery. Management needs to provide support with training, funding for the IPC program so that it supports infrastructure. Human resource factors and other supporting factors contribute to the implementation of IPC so as to reduce the incidence of infection

Health management systems played a crucial role in hazard reduction and prevention as well as in improving employee performance. The importance of a hospital health and safety management system and there has been no study in Indonesia with the same objective based on the OSHA indicator. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the performance indicators of Hospital Safety and health management systems in hospitals in the Gombong region, Indonesia, in terms of a nurse perspective. The research method used was descriptive-analytic. The sample size consisted of 450 nurses. The questionnaire used a standard questionnaire from hospital safety and health management systems which consisted of 53 questions including 6 domains; Leadership management, Hazard identification, employee participation, Hazard prevention, evaluation and improvement program, and Education and training. Using the 1-4 Likert scale of strongly disagree, disagree, agree, and strongly agree. The highest score was 4 and the lowest score is 1. Data analysis used SPPS, t-test, and analysis of variance (ANOVA) with a significant value 0.05. Based on the research results, poor conditions occurred in several domains except in the domain of employee participation. There were significant variables between hazard identification and gender, hazard prevention and improvement program and evaluation also. Conclusion of this study, hospital administrations need to be improved and pay more attention to occupational safety and health in the workplace. To get rid of weaknesses and a mistake, we need to continuous improvement and effective evaluation of staff in training programs.
