Article 24 of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) recognizes the child’s right to health and health care. Despite its importance, surprisingly little international advocacy focuses exclusively on child’s health. The Committee on the Rights of the Child has addressed health and health care issues in many of its General Comments, but it has been surprisingly slow to adopt a General Comment dedicated to Article 24. There has also been an apparent disconnect between children’s rights law and the global development agenda. While the UN Sustainable Development Goals address many of children’s specific health needs, they do not mention the CRC and are not framed in rights terms. Although progress continues in advancing Agenda 2030, it is not clear whether greater progress would have been possible were these goals expressed as a matter of children’s rights. Overall, this process appears to be a missed opportunity to advance the child’s rights to health.

Batik artwork has been known for hundreds of years and has become part of the culture of Indonesian society. Some batik motifs in Indonesia have philosophical values and are part of traditional traditional ceremony activities. Along with the times, the creativity of batik artists has become varied even though ancient traditional motifs are still mass produced and used as inspiration. This research examines the legal protection for traditional batik in order to avoid the abuse of rights by certain parties who merely exploit it in order to benefit from the existence of traditional batik works. The formulation of the problem that will be examined in this research is whether traditional batik gets legal protection under the copyright regime in Indonesia? Are there any legal safeguards at the international level for traditional Indonesian batik works? In answering this problem formulation will use a conceptual approach and a statutory approach. This research is a legal research that will examine existing legal concepts and related legal rules in solving legal problems related to the protection of traditional batik.

Legal protection  for children  who consider  the law  is one important  aspect  that must  be considered   by all parties  to avoid  negative  impacts felt  by children  and children.   This  research  has  two problemformulations,     namely:   1) How  is legal protection   against  children  as  a  crime?  2)  What  are  the  implications   of press freedom which violates children's  rights as a crime? The method  used is nonnative legal  research.   The  implementation    of  press  freedom    in  reporting   is  not   in accordance   with  the  regulations   regarding  child  protection   and  the journalistic code of ethics because  efforts  are still being made  by the press  in reporting  about children  as a crime  whose identity  is published  in both print and electronic  media so that  it has a negative  impact  both physically.   and psychologically   to children. This requires  accountability  from the press  and sanctions  given  to the press  who violate children's  rights are regulated  in the Criminal  Code.
