Multidisciplinary experts are required to develop a model for resource management in a country. Various concepts in information and communication technology are required to be applied in designing and developing a model for the management of natural resources. The concepts such as cloud computing along with social media play an important role. Case illustrations are discussed in this chapter stressing the role of cloud computing along with the concepts of collaborative technology in developing models for the benefit of citizens in a country.

This study aimed to shed the light on the role of Social Media usage in the innovative behavior through the recent information technology (IT) in the organizations specialized in the information and communication technology (ICT) field. The study population consisted of the ICT organizations operating in Jordan as affiliated with the Information and Communication Technology Association (INTAJ) amounting to 161 organization. The analysis unit consisted of the managers in the top and middle level. The study relied on the simple random sample; and it reached a number of conclusions the most important of which is that the perceptions by respondents of the independent variable Social Media Usage were medium; and the same applies to all its dimensions. The dependent variable Innovative Behavior was also medium, as well as all its dimensions. As for the mediator variable IT, the respondents' perceptions were high, along with all its dimensions. The study indicated that there is a statistically significant impact for the Social Media usage with its component on the innovative behavior. Also, it was found that a statistically significant impact for the Social Media usage with its component on the innovative behavior through the IT in the organizations operating in the ICT field in Jordan. These conclusions indicated that there is an opportunity for the ICT organizations to promote its innovative behavior through the Social Media usage. Based on the reached conclusions, the study concluded a set of recommendations the most important of which is that the awareness should be increased with respect to the capacities that are available due to the use of the Social Media as well as the advantages that can be utilized by the ICT organizations in Jordan through this use; the organization should well utilize the Social Media usage especially the Groups and Sharing by taking the necessary decision that lead to the activation of the Social Media role in the various phases of the innovative behavior; and the need for the organizations to direct the use of Social Media through the dissemination of a culture of innovation based on the use of Social Media.

Selain itu, humas sebagai corong atau sumber informasi, yang dituntut kemampuannya dalam menghadapi tantangan dan perubahan zaman yang sangat cepat terutama menghadapi perkembangan teknologi, informasi dan komunikasi. Humas memiliki peranan penting dalam menyampaikan informasi pada khalayak umum. Selain itu humas di tuntut untuk menguasai teknologi informasi dan komunikasi, termasuk di dalamnya media sosial sehingga dapat mengetahui informasi yang sedang ramai dibicarakan. Peran kehumasan dalam membangun eksistensi Politeknik Kelautan dan Perikanan Pangandaran diharapkan dapat memenuhi kebutuhan informasi dan tututan masyarakat. Humas sebagai perpanjangan tangan dari sebuah institusi diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi terhadap eksistensinya Politeknik Kelautan dan Perikanan Pangandaran.Public Relations is the spearhead in conveying information on activities carried out, and work programs at an instituation. In addition, public relations as a mouthpiece or source of information, wich is demanded for its ability to face the challengs and changing time very quickly, especially, facing the development of technology, information and communication. Public Relation has an important role in conveying information to the general public. In addition, public relations are demaded to master information and communication technology, including social media do they can find out information that is being talked about. The role of public reations in building the existence of Pangandaran Marine and Fisheries polytechnic is expected to meet the needs of information and public demands. Public Relations ans an extension of an instituation are expected to contribute to the existence of of Pangandaran Marine and Fisheries polytechnic.

ABSTRAKBerbagai permasalahan saat ini dihadapi oleh perpustakaan. Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi, serta rendahnya minat baca merupakan permasalahan yang harus segera di atasi. Rendahnya minat baca masyarakat saat ini merupakan ancaman serius yang sedang dihadapi oleh bangsa Indonesia. Indeks membaca di Indonesia masih sangat rendah sehingga berpengaruh terhadap tingkat kualitas sumberdaya manusia yang dimiliki. Perpustakaan sebagai lembaga yang bertugas dalam upaya peningkatan minat baca perlu melakukan terobosan baru sehingga minat baca masyarakat dapat meningkat. Perpustakaan kafe merupakan perpustakaan yang menggabungkan desain antara perpustakaan dengan kafe dengan tetap mengedepankan tujuan dan peranan perpustakaan. Tujuan pengembangan perpustakaan kafe ini adalah untuk dapat memberikan kesan baru pada perpustakaan berupa tempat yang nyaman, menyenangkan sehingga dapat menarik minat masyarakat untuk berkunjung, membaca koleksi yang tersedia sehingga mampu meningkatkan minat baca, yang akan berpengaruh dalam peningkatan kecerdasan bangsa dan Negara. Ruangan perpustakaan didesain seperti kafe dengan mengutamakan kenyamanan pengunjung serta penyediaan koleksi yang dapat menarik perhatian masyarakat untuk membacanya. Pengembangan perpustakaan kafe perlu memperhatikan lokasi, desain, koleksi, kerjasama dan jenis layanannya. Pengembangan perpustakaan ini merupakan upaya untuk mengoptimalkan tugas pokok dan fungsi dari perpustakaan, meningkatkan minat baca masyarakat serta sebagai media interaksi sosial masyarakat ABSTRACTA lot of problems being faced by the library nowadays. The growth of information and communication technology, and the low interest in reading must be overcome. Low reading interest in today's society is a serious threat being faced by Indonesia. Reading index in Indonesia is still very low and therefore contributes to the quality level of its human resources. Library as an institution in charge of the effort to increase reading interest need to make new breakthroughs for it. Library cafe is a library that combines the design of a library with a café while still promoting the purpose and role of the library. The purpose of developing a cafe library is to give a new impression of a library as a comfortable and fun place to attract people to visit and read the available collections so as to increase their reading interest, which will take effect in improving national intelligence. Library room is designed like a cafe which emphasizes comfort for visitor as well as provision of a collection that can attract people to read it. The library café development must take into account its location, design, collection, cooperation and kinds of services. The development of this library is an attempt to optimize the duties and functions of the library, to increase public interest as well as to serve as a social media of interaction

The rapid development of information and communication technology, which has brought influence and change in the lives of people throughout the world. Influences and changes that occur due to the development of information and communication technology there are positive values, and there are also negative sides. In Indonesia, especially at this time, the development of information and communication technology has become a trend both among adults and young people. In addition to business, education and work related interests. Nowadays information and communication technology also plays an important role in socialization activities through various existing social networks. The problem is that social networking is now becoming a trend, especially for young people as an area where sexual offenders look for victims by exploiting the various characteristics of this virtual media. The role of information technology education itself in preventing child grooming on social media is to prevent crime in cyberspace (cyber crime) through a culture of computer use and a healthy Internet (Cyber Health). Healthy internet is an activity in conducting online activities both browsing, streaming and downloading properly and in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, especially the Information and Electronic Transaction Law. , regulations and guidelines, and also supplemented by interviews with resource persons.
