This paper describes an ongoing study related to a conceptual design model, which is specific to instructional interface design to enhance courseware usage. It was found that most of the existing courseware applications focus on the needs of certain target with most of the courseware offer too little to inclusive learners. In addition, the use of structure, layout, and navigation to improve the courseware instructional interfaces as part of usability strategies was also problematic for developers. Thus, this study aims at creating an alternative instructional interface as part of usability strategies for inclusive education systems called Instructional Interface Design for Courseware (IID4C). It is proposed as guidance for the developer to refer to. The study used comparative analysis technique to determine the elements of the model. In the end, this study finds that the IID4C model is useful for information accessibility and contributes to the designing of instructional courseware. Future works are to evaluate the proposed model among disabled and non-disabled learners.

The study investigates the usability of the proposed model for instructional design on Courseware for Inclusive Education System (C4IES). The usability evaluation on courseware is an important constructivist instructional strategy for inclusive educational systems. The study used the comparative analysis technique to evaluate the usability level of proposed model of C4IES. Then, a field study with observation and survey approach were carried out on randomly selected students among distance learning institutes, whereby a group of students was exposed to non-interactive learning aids, whereas the other group was aided with C4IES prototype. The model has been reviewed by seven experts and validated by 202 respondents from approved distance learning through prototyping. On top of that, the findings of user experience indicated that the C4IES is able to fulfil the instructional interface needs for the non-impaired, low-visual, and hearing-challenged learners in terms of motivation in the use of courseware next time. All these findings demonstrate that the proposed model of C4IES is useful for information accessibility and contributes to the designing of instructional design.

Research shows that most shear design models for concrete beams reinforced with FRP reinforcement provide conservative results that leads to excessive amounts of reinforcement and increased overall cost of such construction. This paper presents comparative analysis of current shear design models for concrete beams reinforced with longitudinal FRP reinforcement and FRP stirrups. New analytical shear design model, developed by Valivonis et al., has been included in the analysis. A database with 88 specimens reinforced with FRP reinforcement was compiled in order to verify the accuracy of the proposed model by Valivonis et al. It is shown that proposed shear design model yields quite accurate and consistent results as an average of Vexp / Vpred values is 0.98 and coefficient of variation is 26.0% for this model.

Bipolarity plays a key role in different domains such as technology, social networking and biological sciences for illustrating real-world phenomenon using bipolar fuzzy models. In this article, novel concepts of bipolar fuzzy competition hypergraphs are introduced and discuss the application of the proposed model. The main contribution is to illustrate different methods for the construction of bipolar fuzzy competition hypergraphs and their variants. Authors study various new concepts including bipolar fuzzy row hypergraphs, bipolar fuzzy column hypergraphs, bipolar fuzzy k-competition hypergraphs, bipolar fuzzy neighborhood hypergraphs and strong hyperedges. Besides, we develop some relations between bipolar fuzzy k-competition hypergraphs and bipolar fuzzy neighborhood hypergraphs. Moreover, authors design an algorithm to compute the strength of competition among companies in business market. A comparative analysis of the proposed model is discuss with the existing models such bipolar fuzzy competition graphs and fuzzy competition hypergraphs.

Abstract This paper describes a general design model that serves as a base for computer-support in the conceptual design stage. The model consists of a model of the artefact to be designed, design activities and knowledge. The artefact model contains multiple views, each highlighting a certain aspect of the design. Design activities are performed to create this model and knowledge describes information generated in the past that can be reused. The general design model has been used to develop a specific model for the design of production machines. This specific model has been implemented in a prototype computer-program and has been evaluated within several companies. The results are promising and show that designers gain new insights by using the model.

The article actualizes the problem of pedagogical education in accordance with the new conceptual principles of its development; there is an attempt to describe a model of educational and scientific complex for higher pedagogical education on the example of the Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University. The activity of the complex corresponds to the principles of integrity, continuity, regularity, openness, variability of professional training forms. Management of such a complex has an adaptive character and is determined by the purposefulness, consistency, resource availability, the interaction of control and controlled subsystems. The authors identify varieties of continuous pedagogical education; characterize the main organizational features of training specialists at different stages of pedagogical education, taking into account its varieties; varied forms of continuous pedagogical education are distinguished at the appropriate stages (pre-professional, adaptive-professional, system-professional, acme-professional). Each of the stages has its own content, which corresponds to modern educational trends: the introduction of competence, person-oriented, and activity approaches; development of innovative thinking and leadership potential; creating conditions for inclusive education, etc. This way provides favorable conditions for the professional-personal formation of a pedagogue at all stages of this process: from the defining of professional intentions to improving pedagogical skills. The article focuses on the advantages of introducing the proposed model, which are seen in the diversification of pedagogical training, expanding the competence field of pedagogical knowledge and skills usage; in creating a dynamic educational environment, and in motivating higher education graduates to self-organization in the process of building their own professional development trajectory.

Introduction. In 2015-2020, the number of inclusive groups in preschools and classes in secondary schools of Ukraine increased almost 7 times. For our country, inclusive education is an innovative phenomenon, so its implementation raises many problems. One of the most significant problems is low level of fire safety measures. Сhild death from fires in Ukraine exceeds the European Union numbers by more than 4 times. As children with special needs are more vulnerable during fires, research on fire safety in inclusive groups is an urgent task. The purpose of the article is to identify problematic issues of calculating the time of evacuation in case of fires in educational institutions with inclusive groups based on statistical data, regulatory framework, and modern scientific developments analysis. The current regulations governing the organization of inclusive education in preschool and secondary school have been analyzed. Building codes that set the requirements for inclusive buildings and structures have been analyzed. Standards and methods for calculating the evacuation time from buildings have been also considered. The comparative analysis of the possibilities of the modern application software intended for evacuation time calculation has been carried out. According to the analysis, the main problematic issues have been identified.Conclusion. Currently, some necessary data about children with special needs are not available. That fact doesn't allow calculating with exact accuracy the evacuation time in case of fire in educational institutions with inclusive groups. A comparative analysis of the calculations made with the help of applied computer programs shows that in most of them there is no possibility to take into account the presence of children with special needs on the premises. In some software products, where such a possibility is provided, the movement parameters of children with special needs do not differ from the movement parameters of adults with disabilities. Therefore, determining the values of the horizontal projection area of children with different special needs, as well as the study of their speeds and the influence of their presence on the intensity of the general movements is an urgent technical and scientific task that requires further experimental and theoretical research.

This study aims to describe the distribution of the capacity level the coastal area of west Buleleng Regency from the threat of sea level rise and to know the ratio of the capacity level. The subjects in this study are village officials and staff BPBD Buleleng Regency, while the object of the research is level of capacity. The phenomenon described in this research is distribution of capacity level of coastal area in west Buleleng Regency. Stages conducted in this study consisted of data collection, weighting, determining the level of capacity until finally mapping the level of capacity. data analysis technique that used is qualitative descriptive analysis combined with spatial comparative analysis based on Geographic Information System (GIS) which is aimed to analyze comparison of capacity level among villages in coastal area. The results show that the distribution of the capacity of all coastal areas in west Buleleng Regency is the medium category. Assessments of capacity level indicate a lack of capacity indicators for several villages, particularly on the availability of threat maps and early warning systems. Therefore it is necessary to socialize the document of disaster study which has been made by BPBD of Buleleng Regency.
