The purpose of this study is to analyze the impact of online service quality of e-commerce websites on customer satisfaction and purchase intention. The study identifies the dimensions of e-service quality on the basis of the literature review, which are website design, reliability, responsiveness, trust, and personalization. A survey of 278 avid users of three popular websites was taken to validate the model. The reliability and validity of the questionnaire were checked through the measurement model and the structural equation model was used to confirm the relationship among the dimensions. The result shows that trust is the only e-service quality dimension that significantly influences overall service quality. The relationship between overall e-service quality and customer satisfaction as well as customer satisfaction and purchase intention was found statistically significant.

The purpose of this article is to identify the dimensions of service quality (SQ) in the banking sector and examine the effect of SQ dimensions on customer satisfaction (CS), and therefore the effect of CS on corporate image (CI) in the selected public sector banks (PSBs) in India. The sample of the study consists of 640 retail customers of PSBs in the National Capital Region (NCR) of India and the data were collected through a structured questionnaire using a 7-point Likert scale based on purposive sampling. Therefore, the authors empirically validate a measurement model using structural equation modelling (SEM) through path analysis. The findings revealed that ‘tangibility’ and ‘assurance’ dimensions were most important predictors of CS among all five dimensions of SQ. In addition, the results also validate that CS is an important antecedent for influencing CI, and therefore CS acts as a linkage between SQ dimensions and CI in the Indian context. Finally, the research article presents the conclusion, implications and limitations and the possible directions for further research.

This chapter investigates the relationship between service quality of Baitul Maal wat-Tamwil (BMT) and the satisfaction of small and micro-enterprises in Indonesia with perceived benefits as the mediating variable. Primary data is collected from 454 small and micro-enterprises located in the western part of Jawa Island of Indonesia and the CARTER model is adopted to test the satisfaction of small and micro-enterprises upon the services provided by their patronized BMT as Islamic microfinance institutions. By using the structural equation model, the finding confirms that perceived benefits fully mediate the relationship between service quality of BMT and small and micro-enterprises' satisfaction.

The objectives of this research are to analyze how to build the political and managerial balance of government in direct and simultaneous regional elections in Indonesia based on the managerial approach of government and the decentralization approach quantitatively. Data analysis uses the Social Network Analysis (SNA) or Social Network Theory (SNT) approach to map policies using the XL Node and first-order confirmatory factor analysis which is a form of measurement model in the Structural Equation Model (SEM). The population in this study is the Regency/City and Province Organizers of the 2018 elections, which are 88 pairs of Regional Heads/Deputy Regional Heads. The sample of this study was voters who assessed the quality of the elections and other variables, totaling 340 respondents. The results of the study indicate that community trust and community satisfaction can be mediation for the quality of the implementation of regional election to influence the performance of simultaneous regional election. In addition, harmonization of regulations is a moderating variable that can affect the quality of the implementation of regional elections, public trust, and public satisfaction with the performance of simultaneous regional elections. This study conducted a quantification study related to new approaches in building a balance with the managerial approach of governance (Rosenbloom, DH (2015). Public Administration: Understanding Management, Politics, and Law in the Public Sector, 8th ed. Boston, MA: McGraw-Hill; Frederickson, HG (1980). New Public Administration. While a traditional marketer aims to enhance customer loyalty, a social marketer focuses on the creation of individual well-being. To date, some social marketing programs have been launched to enhance individual well-being. However, only a few studies have been oriented to investigate subjective well-being, in the domain of traditional marketing. Previous studies have indicated that service quality is an important determinant of subjective well-being for a service organization’s customers. However, this notion is not enough as service quality only captures performance of service in the level of attribute. For that reason, this introduces the notion of experience quality as the determinant of subjective well-being. To have a better knowledge about the relationship between these constructs, this study also inserted the notion of customer satisfaction and perceived shopping enjoyment as mediating variables. Two hundred respondents participated in this study. These respondents were recruited at department stores in Malang, a city in the Province of East Java. A self-administered survey was conducted to collect the data. A Covariance Based Structural Equation Model (CBSEM) was employed to analyze the data. The results of a Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) confirmed the model proposed. The structural model showed that the experience of shopping has significant effects on customer satisfaction, perceived shopping enjoyment, and subjective well-being. However, this study failed to prove the mediating effects of customer satisfaction and perceived shopping enjoyment in the relationship between the shopping experience and subjective well-being. Upon the completion of this study, both theoretical and practical contributions were provided.

Service quality is a major determinant of customer satisfaction and consequently a repurchase decision in the fast food restaurants’ (FFRs) industry. Nevertheless, prompt and efficient services alone may not guarantee a restaurant a place in today’s hyper- competitive marketplace. Therefore, this study was conceived to examine the impact of food quality (FQ), service quality (SQ), perceived value (PV) and restaurant environment (RE) on customer re-purchase decision, mediated by customer satisfaction (CS). Data for the study were obtained from a sample of 320 consumers drawn from 12 FFRs in three major towns in Delta State, Nigeria. Multiple and hierarchical regressions were used to analyse the data generated. The findings indicated that FQ, SQ, PV and RE exerted positive and significant effects on CS and re-purchase decision. The results also showed that CS fully mediated the relationship between SQ and repurchase decision, but the meditational influence was only partially for FQ, PV and RE; implying that FQ, PV and RE have their own direct influence on RPD besides through SQ. Given the impact of FQ, SQ, PV and RE on CS and repurchase decision, restaurants’ managers need to continually improve on the quality of their services, environment and offerings to sustain the patronage of their clients in order to survive in today’s hyper-competitive marketplace.
