In this work are described the possibilities for improving efficiency of wood pellets production. The introductory part is devoted to analyzing the properties of wood pellets, combustion and production of pollutants when combusted it. The production of wood pellets and used pelleting machines was analyzed. The main task of this work is to introduce efficiency pelleting lines and cost reduction of the wood pellets production as fuel with a focus on the effects of adding additives. The results of experimental measurements and properties of wood pellets with different additives are presented in the final part.

An important characteristic for efficient management of production systems is the ability of a product, component or material to be tracked. That is, to be assigned with a unique symbol, number, or other code (identifier) that can be traced back both within the production process and to the customer (e. g. when complaining about a defective part). Traceability leads to a cost reduction in eliminating the risks associated with the difficult identification of the material or parts, their handling in pre-production, the manufacturing process, or the storage and sale of finished products to customers. In case of problems, it makes it easier to implement the necessary measures and reduces the time to remedy the situation either within the company or even outside. Individual companies within the Czech Republic usually solve the identification and traceability independently. The paper deals with the results of the analysis of the current state of record keeping and identification of metallurgical materials in selected companies, and presents a proposal for improvement of the current situation in a specific company, especially in the field of work with remaining material.

The tracing of current-conducting channels of the Pechenga structure from Russian to Norwegian territory was the main task of this research. The study was carried out in the framework of the Soviet-Norwegian cooperation “Northern Region” to estimate the prospects for discovery of Cu-Ni deposits in northern Norway. In addition to previous publications of technical character, the emphasis here is on geological description. Experimental measurements have been performed in the field of the “Khibiny” dipole and with the use of DC electrical profiling. The “Khibiny” dipole consists of 160-ton aluminum cable flooded in the Barents Sea bays on opposite sides of the Sredny and Rybachy peninsulas. Measurements were implemented as in the mode of single pulses generated by 80 MW magneto-hydrodynamic (MHD) generator “Khibiny” (“hot” launches) and in the accumulation mode of rectangular current pulses of 0.125 Hz frequency generated by a 29 kW car generator (“cold” launches). From results of measurements, it was concluded that the most promising potential for Cu-Ni deposits Pil’gujarvi formation of the Northern wing of the Pechenga structure is rather quickly wedged out in Norway, while the conductive horizons of the Southern part of Pechenga, which have a weak prospect for Cu-Ni ores, follow into Norway nearly without a loss of power and integral electrical conductivity.

The paper deals with the analysis of influence of pipe deviations on in-pipe machine locomotion. In-pipe machine locomotes inside a pipe using the friction difference principle of locomotion. Main task of the machine is inspection of inner pipe wall as the prevention of pipe crack and leaks of transported medium. Pipe systems have deviations of inner pipe wall, which are caused by production process and caused by using of pipe (deformations, sediments, changes from coupling of pipes etc.). These pipe deviations have direct influence on machine locomotion inside the pipe.

Failures are a problem for every company that causes the plant to stop working and thus incur losses. It is therefore obvious thatcompanies want to eliminate unplanned downtime in the production process. In the wake of the still increasing demands in termsof productivity and safety requirements, cost reduction, the industry is forced to seek the optimum between economic requirementsand an acceptable level of risk in terms of security. Modern factories equipped with computerized processes and extensive diagnostictools often do not use all the information that is collected from the hardware level. It happens that some of the relationshipsbetween events are often overlooked or neglected. The article presents an approach to increasing machine reliability through predictive data analysis. The assumptions of the predictiveand preventive maintenance methods are presented. The threats and possibilities offered by this methodology implemented inthe production process are presented.

The paper deals with the problems of assessment of financial benefits of subordinated loans and convertible bonds. The paper authors aim to propose and verify methodology for assessment of the financial benefits of subordinated loans and convertible bonds. The introductory part characterizes the theoretical background of assessment of the financial benefits of the classic financing sources. Subsequently, the authors propose methodology for assessment of the financial benefits of subordinated loans and convertible bonds. The final part includes a case study that, using the proposed methodology, documents the outcomes of the comparison of the financial benefits of the mentioned instruments in the actual conditions of the Czech Republic.

PT.Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang is a company that has the main task in the production and marketing of urea fertilizer and npk fertilizer. Production estimates are needed so that companies can determine strategies and breathrought so that the production process runs optimally. This study discusses the application of data mining in predicting the production of NPK Fertilizer Formula 15-15-15 PSO at PT.Pupuk Sriwidjaja Palembang. In its application, this research uses the multiple Linear Regression Algorithm by utilizing production history data for the 2019-2020 period. If you have already mined the production history data for the 2019-2020 period, there will bi predictions in 2021 which are predicted by the rapidminer application and using a multiple linear regression algorithm, which produces a predicted value of fertilizer production in 2021 as much as 70800 tons.

Experimental measurements have been focused on the issue of change in reverberation time T20 and T30 (s) in a selected room (classroom) due to its occupancy by persons (students) and changes in reverberation time T20 and T30 (s) as a result of the excitation signal during measurement. Reverberation time was measured in a standard room at the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Slovak Technical University in Bratislava (classroom B318) by the use of NORSONIC (NORSONIC NOR 280 amplifier, an omnidirectional sound source - NORSONIC NOR 270, NORSONIC TYPE 118, and microphone and preamplifier). The room (classroom B318) was selected as a model classroom in terms of its dimensions, i.e. volume (225 m3), arrangement of furniture, and maximum number of students during standard lectures (up to 24 people). The main task of this study was the inter-comparison of measurement results of reverberation times T20 and T30 (s), with regard to room occupancy of students (100%, 50%, 0%), the position of students (sitting and standing), and the excitation signal (pink noise, white noise, impulse - bursting of an inflated balloon).

In this paper authors overviewed the most important stages of ceramics production process which give significant influence on final properties of product. Often density and porosity on the all producing stages determines exploitation ceramics properties. A calculation method for fractions ratio selection which provides optimal density is suggested here. Also, density changes during operations of grinding, forming, thermal treatment and sintering a row of specimens are researched and analysed. The data received allow to predict semi products size behaviour while producing and get definite final part with dimension required.
