Characteristics and Development Patterns of the Process of Vocational Education for Chinese and Japanese Performing Arts

The main purpose of this research is to contribute to the literature related to management studies and studies on performing arts education by shedding light on the important roles played by formal education at schools for training performers and management talents. The research compares the process of educational modernization for Chinese traditional theater and Japanese Takarazuka Revue to illuminate respective characteristics and developmental patterns. Although Japan and China have very different modernization processes and political systems, both cases of performing arts have been relying on school institutions for human resources development which has evolved from apprenticeship or something alike. By this comparison, the research then clarifies the ways schools are involved in improving skills and inculcating occupational identities of performers and management talents, thereby constantly producing capable young talents. Finally, the research shows how the result can provide a better view on vocational education for future research in the related field.

This study has several objectives first prove a significant difference in understanding of the assets, liabilities and capital between the students from SMK Accounting Department, High School and Madrasah Aliyah Department of Public IPS IPS majors. Prior to hypothesis testing performed prior sample collection is 68 students who have graduated from vocational secondary education level majoring in Accountancy, SMA study of majoring of IPS science Madrasah Aliyah common in college majoring in social studies at the Bung Hatta University of Padang. Type of data used are obtained through deployment of primary questionnaire. Variable study is a basic understanding of accounting concepts consisting of cash, liabilities and capital, while the distinguishing dimension is the level of formal education of students in the past. The process of hypothesis testing is done by using a statistical test that is using the Kruskal Walls. Based on the results of testing the first hypothesis of no difference in the understanding of accounting students from vocational education majoring in accounting, SMA students and Madrasah Aliyah major of IPS science. in understanding the basic concepts of accounting view of the assets. The second hypothesis found differences in the understanding of accounting students from vocational education majoring in accounting, high school social studies department, and public Madrasah Aliyah Department the major of IPS science of the basic concepts of accounting in view of the obligation. The third hypothesis found no differences in accounting students' understanding of vocational education majoring in accounting, SMA student, and Madrasah Aliyah general social studies department of the basic concepts of accounting view of capital.

Recommendation systems have emerged as a response to overload in terms of increased amounts of information online, which has become a problem for users regarding the time spent on their search and the amount of information retrieved by it. In the field of recommendation systems in education, the relevance of recommended educational resources will improve the student’s learning process, and hence the importance of being able to suitably and reliably ensure relevant, useful information. The purpose of this systematic review is to analyze the work undertaken on recommendation systems that support educational practices with a view to acquiring information related to the type of education and areas dealt with, the developmental approach used, and the elements recommended, as well as being able to detect any gaps in this area for future research work. A systematic review was carried out that included 98 articles from a total of 2937 found in main databases (IEEE, ACM, Scopus and WoS), about which it was able to be established that most are geared towards recommending educational resources for users of formal education, in which the main approaches used in recommendation systems are the collaborative approach, the content-based approach, and the hybrid approach, with a tendency to use machine learning in the last two years. Finally, possible future areas of research and development in this field are presented.

As young people are increasingly turning to the Internet to meet their information needs, it is imperative to investigate their perceptions regarding various potential sources of health information. A series of card-sorting exercises were administered to new participants in an after-school programme (HackHealth) to find out which sources of health information these greater Washington DC metro area middle school students would turn to, which they would not and their reasons behind these judgements. The findings revealed that participants were very aware of the importance of trustworthiness when looking for health information and they valued both professional expertise based on formal education and expertise born of personal experience with a particular health condition. However, they also valued convenience, ease and speed, and sometimes sacrificed information quality. Some important implications of these findings for healthcare and information professionals are identified and suggestions for future research in this area are offered.

<p>The motto of PGRI Palembang University is that the campus advances with quality. Then a need for faculties to make a stragi in providing encouragement and motivation to the academic community to carry out the tri dharma of higher education. (FKIP) Palembang PGRI University through its highest leadership in the faculty gave a letter of assignment to work on the Mars song FKIP PGRI Palembang University to one of the music art lecturers in the performing arts education study program named Silo Siswanto, M.Sn. Then the Mars song was finished on July 23, 2018 and was launched on July 31, 2018 in the FKIP University of Palembang PGIP judicial event held at the Science Center building at the PGRI University in Palembang. Regarding the form in the Mars song, of course, this song has pieces of melody that are often known by the term phrases or musical sentences that make up the song. while the accompaniment music is arranged in an orchestra format. The formulation of the problem. (1) What is the form of Mars FKIP University PGRI Palembang song. (2) How is the accompaniment of Mars FKIP Palembang PGRI University music with orchestra format. The results of the discussion FKIP march song has a poly metric musical form where the antecedent phrase and consequent phrase do not have the same number of bars for example period C has 9 bars consisting of the phrase d 4 bars and the phrase e 5 bars.</p><p><br />Keywords: Song Form, Mars Song, Orchestra</p>

Future workplaces require collaboration skills in which members of different work communities use technologies to solve complex problems. Vocational education and training (VET) programs need to meet the challenge to prepare students to be part of a competent workforce. Particularly initial vocational education is under pressure to develop learners’ collaboration skills and abilities. To date, however, no attempt has been made to perform a comprehensive review of the use of computer-supported collaborative learning (CSCL) technologies across different vocational education settings to account for contextual factors of VET. In this systematic review, 26 published studies were analyzed with respect to their demographics, research methodology, use of technology, and measured outcomes. This review illuminates that research on CSCL still leaves the vocational learning context as an under-represented field of study. At the same time, technologies offer a range of new types of learning possibilities for vocational education. As the direct result of that development, vocational education is increasingly taking place in new technology-enhanced learning settings. Education can benefit from the opportunities of CSCL technologies, but on the other hand, such technologies create new challenges for facilitating vocational learning. Therefore, this review also identifies three topic areas specific to vocational learning (collaborative writing-to-learn, simulations and game-like solutions, and tangible objects) and enumerates desirable lines for future research.

Purpose: A lot of perspectives have been discussed about Bali and this paper will discuss it from the angle of the learning process of art and culture in the Balinese art studios in Gianyar Regency. Research methods: The research was conducted on the months of July and August 2019. Qualitative data was obtained during the research because the method of data collection was interviewing the owner of the dance studio. Results and discussions: One of the A’s in tourism is attraction and Bali have a strong attraction for tourists both domestic and foreign tourists. The art and culture is the breath of tourism in the island of Bali, which is based on the Hindu religion. The resources for these art and culture are nurtured in several forms, which one of them is through sanggar or studios, which is a non-formal education institution for learning Balinese art and culture. Various types of art and culture and developed and nurtured in these studios, such as performing arts, fine arts, and local wisdoms. The tourism industry has given positive and negative impacts for Balinese art and culture, depends on how one may argue if seen through different perspectives. Performing arts have flourished in terms of daily performances taken places in hotels and designated performance theaters. The types which can be easily watched are the music and dance of Bali. Conclusion: Tourism in this sense is not a direct aspect but, in the future, has a direct impact: providing culture resources for performances in tourism objects and destinations. This as a part of social sustainability, also the sanggars, is a part of the sustainable tourism family

There are frequent calls to enhance citizens' trust in government to pave the way towards a new paradigm of participatory governance and strong citizen support for government. In various realms, citizens may directly or indirectly engage with the government through various available mediums, even though, despite the availability of various policies and services provided by the government, citizens are generally passive and adamant in trusting the public sector. While many studies have explored a set of determinants that influence citizens' trust in government (i.e., central government, local government, parliament, and the legal system), few studies have ascertained the relationship and the role of social trust, happiness, governance, and political systems. These are critical factors that may influence trust in government. To address this gap, this study draws on the theoretical lens of social capital theory, proposing that cognitive social trust and citizen happiness—environment and performance—are the most likely predictors of citizen trust in government. This study assumes that citizens' perceptions of governance and political systems will moderate the effect of social trust and happiness on trust in government. Using data from the Asia Barometer Survey 2007, and focusing on data collected from the Philippines, this study tests a latent model employing the structural equation modelling technique. It finds that happiness negatively predicts trust in the central government and the legal system, while all other predictors do not have a significant effect. The findings also show that the political system moderates the impact of social trust and happiness on trust in government. Finally, this article points out its theoretical, empirical, and practical implications and provides directions for future research.

Purpose – As, under the new educational, communicational and technological paradigms, Library and Information Science curricula reconceptualization is gaining momentum, this opinion paper should be seen as a theoretical contribution to current thinking around South European formal education and Continuing Professional Development potential to effectively addressing the New Academic Library challenges.Design/methodology/findings - Building on context-specific case studies and previous international research focusing the investigation of the necessity to reshape official undergraduate programs and academic librarian career-long learning opportunities, our paper discusses whether and how an open flexible synergistic approach could be an ideal solution to current scenario pain points. Besides offering a brief but comprehensive review of the topic, it further proposes a set of future research studies that may result foundational to change within the librarian community by helping unpack the complexities of an ecosystem still in search of its identity.
