The environmental quality early warning in mine are combined with the social, economic and environmental indicators to establish a series of sensitive early warning index to reflect the change of mine environment. Finally, according to the alarm level to forecast the mine environment pollution. This research take the copper mine as an example, establish the mine environmental quality early warning index system, application of AHP to determine the weight, then weighted average to get the early warning general index of mine pollution factors. At last, put the early warning general index into the mathematical model, calculate the mine environmental quality early warning types.

In a decade of reform, several changes had been occurred. Some adjustments could be considered as a success, while others potentially could trigger conflicts. Historical conflict remnants in Indonesia were hard to restrain. Hence, national integration remains crucial in the foreseeable future. Local autonomy could be an avenue to resolve the problem of national integration in a particular context. However, local autonomy could result in the reverse end. In the midst of conflict pattern change and development over the last decade, bureaucracy (local and national) has to be able to foresee any sign of conflict (early warning) in order to be able to anticipate. Conflict recognition could be observed through various indications, ranging from demographic changes, deterioration of the social-economic situation, and/or cultural tensions. Failure to do corrective action on such deviation would lead to a greater risk of conflict occurrence.

Emerging technologies, including nanotechnologies, affect the social, economic, and environmental dimensions of our world, often in ways that are entirely unanticipated. There is considerable effort underway to explore uses of nanomaterials in applications such as membrane separations, catalysis, adsorption, and analysis with the goal of better protecting environmental quality. Along with the growth of a nanochemistry industry there is also the need to consider impacts of nanomaterials on environment and human health.

According to the social-economic statistics and environmental data, this paper evaluated the eco-environmental quality in Changping district based on the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. The results showed that the value of the total system, including social, economic and eco-environmental fields, has been increased from 67.27 to 81.79, which indicated that the total eco-environmental quality in Changping district has been improving from 1999 to 2005. The value of social system has been improved from 63.09 to 84.73, which would mean that enhancement of live quality had reflected the social progress. The value of economic system was also growth from 68.23 to 80.49, which explained some economic index such as GDP could express the progress of economy. The value of environmental system was floating from 68.02 to 78.78, which clarified that environmental system was complex affected by many factors, and social system, economic system and environmental system restricted mutually. Finally, this paper advised for the environmental improvement in Changping district.

The Western Australian Wheatbelt has experienced significant social, economic, and environmental changes over the last 25 years, which have affected the viability of the broadacre farm businesses that dominate the Wheatbelt economy as well as the efficacy of the communities that have supported the agricultural industry. This paper considers the consequences of these changes and how the agricultural industry and the people living in the Wheatbelt region have responded to the challenges. As well, the future of the region is considered, based on potential market and capacity building alternatives. It is contended that many of the social, economic, and environmental indicators of the future have been in place for some time and that industry diversification and social options are already being trialled. It would appear that industry and individual resilience and creativity are keys for the Wheatbelt’s survival in the future.

Re-creating the social, economic and demographic life-cycles of ordinary people is one way in which historians might engage with the complex continuities and changes which underlay the development of early modern communities. Little, however, has been written on the ways in which historians might deploy computers, rather than card indexes, to the task of identifying such life cycles from the jumble of the sources generated by local and national administration. This article suggests that multiple-source linkage is central to historical and demographic analysis, and reviews, in broad outline, some of the procedures adopted in a study which aims at large scale life cycle reconstruction.

The mode of development of the COVID-19 pandemic in Russia and the impact of the epidemic on the areas of scientific research, education and functioning of the fuel and energy complex are discussed. The official statistics revealed evidence both of effectivity of the taken anti-epidemic measures in Moscow and of possible cases of incorrectness of statistical data. The social situation and the mode of development of the epidemic in Moscow and in the regions of Russia are essentially different, that reduces the effectiveness of anti-epidemic measures introduced uniformly throughout the whole country. The conditions of the pandemic and quarantine are difficult for everyone, but organizations and persons with a more modern informational character of production adapt to them more easily. In general, it can be suggested that the epidemic besides the very essential losses gives an important impulse for social-economic and political modernization of the society.

O presente trabalho tem como objetivo caracterizar o risco nas comunidades Mazagão 1 e José da Silva Sobral, a partir de indicadores sociais de vulnerabilidade e ambientais de perigo para movimentos de massa. Para isso, buscou-se inicialmente o levantamento bibliográfico, respaldando-se em autores que trabalham com as temáticas de riscos e vulnerabilidade, e foram realizadas atividades de campo, as quais possibilitaram a aplicação dos questionários de vulnerabilidade social e das fichas de exposição a movimentos de massa, além de permitir a realização de registros fotográficos. A partir da sistematização dos dados de vulnerabilidade social e de exposição, permitiu-se estabelecer as características mais presentes nas comunidades, indicando os elementos mais críticos, os quais colaboram para que haja risco de movimentos de massa, apontando então para a necessidade de pesquisas que venham a estudar profundamente a situação, podendo vir a propor medidas mitigadoras diretamente aplicáveis à área de risco.Palavras-chave: Vulnerabilidade; Perigo; Desastre. ABSTRACTThe present work aims to characterize the risk in the communities Mazagão 1 and José da Silva Sobral, considering social indicators of vulnerability and environmental indicators of danger to mass movements. In order to do this, a bibliographical survey was sought, supported by authors working on the themes of risk and vulnerability, and field activities were carried out, which made possible the application of the social vulnerability questionnaires and the exposure sheets to mass movements, besides allowing the realization of photographic records. Systematizing social vulnerability and exposure data, the most present characteristics in the communities were established, indicating the most critical elements, which contribute to the risk of mass movements, pointing to the need for research that will deeply study the situation, and may propose mitigating measures directly applicable to the area of risk.Keywords: Vulnerability; Danger; Disaster. RESUMENEste trabajo tiene como objetivo caracterizar el riesgo en las comunidades Mazagão 1 y José da Silva Sobral, con base en indicadores sociales de vulnerabilidad y peligro ambiental para los movimientos de masas.
