Legislative oversight allows Congress to investigate potential wrongdoing by executive branch actors. We present a model in which an incumbent exercises oversight and chooses to take corrective action against the executive before going up for reelection. We show that partisan types who prefer to take corrective action regardless of the probability of wrongdoing will always conduct oversight, but sincere types who only want to correct legitimate wrongdoing will exercise restraint to avoid appearing too partisan and losing reelection. The model also shows that oversight is increasing in the probability that the incumbent is partisan and the probability that the challenger is sincere. Finally, we present two case studies, the Elián González custody case and the attack on the Benghazi embassy, to illustrate our theory.

Data science and machine learning are domain names in which data generation can assist with inside the fight towards the disease. Early caution systems which can are expecting how much a disease might effect society and permit the authorities to take suitable measures without disrupting the economy are extremely important. In the confrontation towards COVID-19 methods for forecasting the future cases primarily based totally on present data are extremely beneficial. The preceding are three strategies of machine learning which are discussed: Two for predicting the wide variety of positive cases in the coming ten days, and one for identifying COVID-19 infection via way of means of analyzing the patient's chest x-ray image. Various algorithms had been tested, and the only that produced the maximum accurate consequences become selected for use on this take a look at to forecast confirmed cases in India. Various government entities can leverage the findings to take corrective action. Now that methods for forecasting infectious disease are available, COVID-19 can be less complicated to combat.

Abstract This study addresses the improvement of first pass yield on the production floor of ABC Semiconductor. ABC is a company running a multiple volume complex product in aligning with memory business in the operation. First pass yield refers to the proportion of fully built product that pass testing without the need for additional rework. The first pass yield (FPY) project showed steady progression for its first five years. But over the following one year, the primary yield metric which is first pass yield has stayed stagnant. The goal of the paper presented here is to analyze the reasons for the current performance and propose novel ways of improving the metric again using quality management tools. The most common is using 7QC tools method by categorizing failure pareto that will lead to targeted corrective action to reduce the recurrence of pre-identified failure modes. A DMAIC methodology is establish on how to define an efficient corrective action, along with a top three major defect on data acquired from ABC organization. From the exercise, the yield loss was able to be reduced from 17.4% to 3.52%.

Unsafe acts at PT EGS Indonesia. This type of research is descriptive quantitative with the approach used is cross sectional. The data analysis technique used in this research is SEM (Structural Equation Model). The results showed that the OSH management system in the form of leadership and policy had a negative effect on unsafe action. The OSH Management system in the form of planning has a negative effect on unsafe actions. The OSH management system in the form of its implementation has a negative effect on unsafe actions. The OSH Management system in the form of performance evaluation has a negative effect on unsafe actions. The OSH management system in the form of corrective action has a negative effect on unsafe actions. Objectified fears and the corresponding frightening images are the most striking signs of the anxiety-phobic disorder formation. The high manifestation comorbidity of fear and anxiety necessitates a comprehensive and versatile corrective action, and the variety of existing psychotherapeutic approaches provides a wide range of intervention tools. This article presents a method of forming an eclectically oriented psychocorrection program based on the theoretical provisions of cognitive-behavioral, emotional-figurative and analytical approaches, as well as a method for assessing its effectiveness. In order to establish specific corrective targets of influence, the personal characteristics of the subjects were considered as predictors of the effectiveness of the developed program. The scheme of psychocorrectional influence developed within the framework of the study included the stages of actualization of the frightening image, desensitization and cognitive transformation. To actualize the image in the minds of the subjects, the techniques of imaginative (in the imagination) and virtual (using virtual reality equipment) exposure were used. The use of psychocorrectional influence on a sample of 20 volunteers who declared that they had objectified fear and demonstrated a high level of personal anxiety (according to the STAI scale) showed a statistically significant effectiveness. The following traits were established as predictors of changes in the state of the subjects according to the results of correction at different levels: high courage and low pedantry (for personal anxiety), practicality (for the level of expression of the worked out fear), exaltation and emotiveness (for well-being) and daydreaming (for activity and mood). Based on the data obtained, linear regression equations were drawn up, illustrating the comparative contribution of the listed personality traits to the effectiveness of the impact. Based on the results of the study, an eclectic model of corrective action on frightening images in people with high personal anxiety has been developed and their personality traits have been established, which are predictors of the effectiveness of exposure. The data will be useful both in practical work with manifestations of objectified fears, and in organizing further research in the field of psychotherapy.

PT. GMF Aeroasia, Tbk is a company engaged in aircraft maintenance services. The aircraft maintenance lead time is regulated according to the agreement set forth in the agreement in the form of a work order, when the maintenance process takes place there is almost always a delay when working on the aircraft, both in terms of physical work or delivery of documents. These problems are several forms of waste, where waste is any activity that does not provide added value. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to identify the type of waste and determine the factors that cause waste in the delivery process of aircraft c-check maintenance documents. The method used in this study used a fishbone chart, cause failure mode effect, failure mode and effects analysis and problem identification and corrective action. Fishbone chart and cause failure mode effect are used to find waste that causes delay in document delivery, then analyzed using failure mode and effects analysis, three causes of the highest delay were found, namely stamps on incomplete documents (RPN 16), waiting for customer approval (RPN 16) and material certificates not available (RPN 12). Corrective Action was prepared as a recommendation to improve the delivery process for aircraft c-check maintenance documents. By knowing the types of waste and the factors causing waste in the delivery process of aircraft c-check maintenance documents at PT. GMF Aeroasia Tbk is expected to reduce waste and fulfill customer satisfaction. Keywords: Lead Time, Waste, Delay Delivery of Documents, Cause Failure Mode Effect Method, Corrective Action
