Indonesia has a lot of diversity, namely ethnic, cultural, racial, and others. With so much diversity, there’s a need for national integration or an effort to unite all the different elements that exist so that a country is not divided. The purpose of writing this article is to find out the importance of integration for a nation and what are the possibilities that can arise as a threat of disintegration, especially for millennial generation in digitalization era. This research was conducted using a literature review research method with a theoretical basis obtained from collecting articles and journals published from 2019-2021. The results obtained from this research are that technological developments in this digitalization era can fade or shift the noble values ??of Pancasila and easy access the internet can lead to the spread of hoaxes that can be an opportunity to divide Indonesia. This result also have limitations because they only take theories obtained from articles that have been collected and do not conduct direct surveys to the subjects studied. The millennial generation at this time needs to know and apply Pancasila values ??in daily life so that national integration can still be maintained.

Despite the smooth transition of power from the British colonists to the Sri Lankan Sinhalese in 1949, Sri Lanka inherited considerable challenges. There has been conflict between the Sinhalese and the Tamils post-independence which led to a long and brutal civil war from 1983 to 2009. After the culmination of the civil war, Sri Lanka confronted numerous obstacles in the reconstruction and rehabilitation of the country. Drawing from Birch’s model of national integration, this study attempts to examine the diverse political, economic, and social challenges facing Sri Lanka. The review shows that Sri Lanka needs critical nation building in the following areas: (i) Infrastructural development, (ii) Resettlements and rehabilitation of displaced populations (iii) Ethnic and religious integration, (iv) Equality in political representation, (v) Educational and employment policies, (vi) Gender equality policies, and (vii) mental health interventions for children and women. The role of international bodies, like the United Nations Human Rights Council, and neighboring countries is key to creating pressure for national integration and growth. There is fear that if national unity is not at the forefront of state and international policy for Sri Lanka, conflict and instability may arise again.

This article documents the translations of works of modern Mahua literature in magazines published by Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka (DBP). Discussion is made descriptively, guided by translation history theory employing eight objects of study proposed by D'hulst (2010), i.e. quis (who)?, quid (what)?, ubi (where)?, quibus auxiliis (which sort of support)?, cur (why)?, quomodo (how)?, quando (when)?, and cui bono (what are the effects)? The translations of modern Mahua literature in magazines published by DBP were collected manually from magazines from the collection stored at the National Library of Malaysia (PNM). Data collected were analysed using bibliometric methods. Findings from the study show that the translations of modern Mahua literature were published in Dewan Bahasa and Dewan Sastera comprises 33 poems and short stories. 12 local translators were involved in producing these translations since 1968. The publishing effort of the translation of Mahua modern literary works into Malay aims at introducing Chinese culture and thoughts through Mahua literature to Malay-language readers to promote understanding and cultivate national integration.

Both researchers and Government Agencies see aviation as an important driver for regional development and national integration. Thus, this sector has been a matter of concern for the government who has ways to stimulate the aero activity. The Regional Aviation Development Program (PDAR) has been currently under development implemented in Brazil. This program foresees public investments in airport infrastructure and operational subsidies for airlines to enhance the sector operation and increase the number of locations served by regional aviation. This paper presents a model for estimating passenger demand potential through multiple linear regression to cover the great majority of the federative units (states) of Pernambuco, Paraíba, Rio Grande do Norte, Ceará, and Piauí in the northeast of Brazil. Subsequently, localities are suggested to optimize the resources of the PDAR, and we concluded that it is likely that there are regions with higher demand potential than some regions, which are already served by the airlines. Hence, we assumed that by strategically directing investments to specific localities, companies operate without subsidies, which in turn can be directed to airlines used to integrate the country. This making regional aviation more sustainable leading development to isolated localities, and thus efficiently contributing to reducing the Brazilian social inequality.

The problem of national integration can be found mostly in the developing countries. The post-colonial period holds great significance in this connection. The governments of those countries did introduce different kinds of strategies to ensure national integration but failed. National integration is a big issue in Pakistan and the main reason is multi-cultural society having conflicting ethno-linguistic interests. No ruler or government seems to have honestly tried to resolve this turbulent issue. All groups living in Pakistan have many kinds of grievances. The unfair distribution of wealth is faced by all groups. The state espoused authoritarian policy to establish its position and power. Baluchistan has natural gas but is the poorest province. Similarly, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa produces electricity of Pakistan but faces more load shedding than other provinces. As for as the attainment and maintenance of national integration are concerned, provincial autonomy and strong federal institutions are the prerequisites. Only those countries have achieved national integration in the post-colonial period who have adopted pluralistic and rejected assimilationist approach. Strengthening of political institutions and federal system can redress the grievances of the oppressed groups. In this paper the researcher has tried to discuss implications of ethno-linguistic politics on national integration in Pakistan.
