According to the latest experience of UHV transformer on-site installation work, according to the rules and regulations requirements, the construction process and process of UHV transformer are summarized, and a typical UHV transformer construction method commonly used at present is obtained. Operation comes down to the arrival of acceptance, annex installation, vacuum oiling and hot oil circulation, sealing inspection, standing five processes. In accordance with the above process steps, this paper is divided into five parts to introduce the process and method of UHV transformer construction in order to guide the on-site construction and training teaching.

The cast-in-place concrete lining construction process represents about 25% of the total railroad tunnel construction period. Moreover, the construction period for lining concrete depends on the speed of the curing process of the lining concrete. Therefore, in cold weather when the air temperature in mountain railroad tunnel is consistently 10 degrees or below, equipment for heat insulation of cast-in-place concrete lining, such as a portable fossil fuel heater, must also be prepared to maintain an appropriate curing temperature in the tunnel. It generally takes about 24 to 36 hours to reach the compressive strength (3 to 5MPa) required to remove the lining form. Recently, microwave heat curing technology has been developed as a way of substantially reducing the concrete curing time, to achieve a reduction in the total construction period. The microwave heating system developed in this technology is comprised of a microwave generator, cavity, insulator, and exothermic body (microwave irradiated pyrogen). In this system, microwaves generated from the magnetron are irregularly reflected inside the cavity, and rapidly heat up the exothermic body so that the heat is transferred to the lining form and the concrete in turn, resulting in the accelerated hydration of concrete. Based on the field test data from the construction of the railroad tunnel cast-in-place concrete lining, it is found that this technology is able in 6 to 12 hours to complete the curing of concrete lining sufficiently to remove the form. It is hoped that this approach will substantially reduce the construction period and cost of tunnel lining, even during cold-weather.

By optimizing construction process, the laminated lift-slab method that means to lift two slabs one time upgraded from the traditional layer by layer lifting was proposed, the method in optimizing the construction process, shorten the construction period and improve the stability of group column has the significant advantages. Studied the application of computer synchronous control technology and solved the non-synchronization difficult problems in lifting slab, by controlling the lifting height error, which can reduce the board's destruction, reduce the burden uniformity of hoist, increase the stability of group column and speed up the construction progress. Therefore, the application of computer synchronous control technology in construction process has obvious economic and technical advantages.

In order to analyze the effect of heat preservation, the heat preservation technology of detail structure, such as decorative lines of external walls, edge beam and edge column, windows, balcony and laying position of air conditioner, have been well treated under the system of thin plastered external wall based on EPS. Moreover, the technical-economy benefits of detail structure treatments have been analyzed by comparing with those without detail structure treatment. The results show that better heat preservation and economy benefits would be created by detail structure treatment, which could provide good reference for similar construction process.

<p>A bridge’s bearings, arguably its most critical components, perform a vital function throughout the bridge’s service life, but the bearings used can also have a significant impact on the bridge construction process. Suitably designed adjustable bearings are an integral part of the incremental launch method of bridge construction, for instance, which can be a very efficient construction method. Adjustable bearings may also support other bridge construction methods, such as segmental bridge construction, where fixities/freedoms that applied during the construction phase require to be changed before the bridge enters service. Lifting bearings, the height of which can be increased, may enable a lack of precision in the structure to be tolerated, and measuring bearings may enable load distribution during bridge construction to be verified, where this is required by the construction method. Design features of otherwise standard bearings that support quick and high-quality installation can also contribute towards the efficiency of the overall bridge construction process, as can the use of bearing designs which minimize bearing size. Bearing solutions and features that facilitate bearing installation and bridge construction in ways such as these are described.</p>

Construction cost is a major concern to both clients and contractors. Based on a hypotheticalconstruction project (a six-storey concrete framed office building), cost and otherrelated information was collected through a survey of contractors in Japan, the UK and theUS. Using multiple regression analysis it was found that lower overheads, less prefabricatedcomponents, and fewer design variations could reduce construction cost. Overheadslargely represent indirect costs to contractors and if reduced can lead to increased profitlevels and improved competitiveness. The use of prefabricated components may be problematicwhere there are delays in production, insufficient coordination between design andconstruction, and congested transportation on site. Design variations during constructionbring about uncertainties and are disruptive to the construction process. These factorshave paramount impact on construction cost and demand close attention and consideration.Contractors are advised to reduce the costs of their overheads and utilise prefabricationappropriately, while clients and designers should minimise the number of designvariations during construction if better cost performance is desired.

Based on a subway tunnel construction, the construction method was introduced. The ground subsidence, crown settlement and convergence displacement caused by the cut tunnel are monitored during the tunneling construction and the results of monitoring data for them are analyzed. This technology wells to guide the tunnel-entering construction effectively and avoid the tunnel-entering construction process prone to landslides, thus ensuring the safety of the tunnel construction and will guiding the future construction.

Through the foaming mechanism and foaming effect evaluation, this paper analyzes the production procedure, optimum content and strength of foamed asphalt mixture thoroughly. Combined with the construction process quality control and inspection and acceptance criteria, this paper provides data for reference and theoretical basis for application of cold recycled technology of foamed asphalt to pavement project. Its construction without disrupting traffic, thus shorten the construction period and improve efficiency, which also have advantages such as energy conservation, environment protection and economy. Above all, it is beneficial to foamed asphalt′s popularization and application.

Based on the introduction of the design concept of the assembled pedestrian overbridge, through the Jianhua Building Materials Group’s frst “pre-fabricated low-rise tower-stayed pedestrian landscape overbridge” project in China, this paper proposes a solution that can improve the landscape design of the overbridge and reduce the construction complexity of the overbridge, the assembly product supply and the construction process “integration” under the premise of ensuring the safety and stability of the pedestrian overbridge, whose prefabricated production and assembly construction, shortening the construction period, reducing energy consumption, reducing pollution, and obtaining good social comprehensive benefts.
