An Analysis on Structure Type Selection and Optimization of the Formtraveller for Cantilever Construction

Aiming at the advantages and disadvantages of triangle and rhombic main truss-types and their respective scopes of application, a comparative analysis for the two commonly used truss-type formtravellers has been done. The main factors for analysis are load bearing capability, structural rigidity, steel consumption and working space. It provides a useful reference for the design and selection of the formtraveller. In addition, for the overall deformation of the formtraveller, it is structural optimized while height of column of the truss and suspenders are changed. Finally, the analysis results show the reasonable height of the column and suspender arrangement to achieve the construction target of safety and cost-effectiveness.

At present, mainly straight grate machines (SGM) and combined facilities grate-tube-type kiln-cooler (GKC) are used for heat-strengthening induration of iron ore pellets. Their total share in the produced iron ore pellets in the world accounts for 93%, of which SGM takes 60% and GKC – 33%, which speaks about high efficiency of both methods of induration. At the same time, when making decision on construction a pelletizing plant, a question of selection of most effective technology of iron ore pellets production by SGM and GKC often arises. Results of comparative analysis of efficiency of technologies of iron ore pellets production by SGM and GKC presented. Features of various ore types pellets induration considered as well as possibilities of ensuring the required quality of finished pellets at application for induration SGM and GKC. Data on maximum productivity of the considered induration facilities, amount of dust, fines formation, emissions of harmful substances into environment and electric energy consumption presented. Importance of a possibility of accounting of fuel type selection, of heat expenses for heat treatment, of expenses for maintenance, capital and operation costs were noted. It was shown that choice of a particular variant of technology should be done at the stage of elaboration feasibility study accounting existing experience of facilities running, availability of fuel types, cost of energy resources, climate zone and assembling solutions.

A modern rotating 3D surveillance radars scan azimuth by mechanical rotation, and scan elevation using Active Electronic Scanning Array (AESA) in Multi Beam Receive Mode (MBM). Radars with fixed cylindrical AESA and four-sided prismatic antenna, with 4 flat AESA, scan azimuth electronically, without mechanical rotation. The most significant advantage of electronic scanning is the possibility of Multi-mode operation: surveillance targets in the far zone and targeting targets in the near zone. However, electronic scanning also brings problems. A main beam of planar AESA spreads and lateral lobes increase when the radiating direction increases. An original arrangement of shifted array to reduce lateral lobes has been proposed. The cylindrical array has a constant shape of pattern during azimuth scanning. But, for both prismatic and cylindrical AESA, the beam deforms during scanning in vertical plane, so limits the elevation scan. Also, the complexity and price of fixed AESA is significantly higher compared to the rotating one. In order to enable the selection of the optimal solution for a specific application, the comparative analysis of advantages and disadvantages for cylindrical, prismatic and rotating AESA is done. The original configuration of the cylindrical AESA for Very Fast Scanning in Near-zone has been proposed.

In article as the direction of improvement of educational process, increase of efficiency of use of perspective forms of check and an assessment of knowledge introduction in educational process of electronic means of computer testing is defined. The study is based on the analysis of existing forms of verification and evaluation of knowledge and the main types of control measures in the study of the discipline, the allocation of advantages and disadvantages of the main forms of knowledge testing, the rationale for the choice of testing as the most effective means of testing and evaluation of students' knowledge, the allocation of the main types of tests, the prospects of the use of electronic tests conducted using computer technology, the definition of the function of computer testing, comparative analysis of software products, providing the implementation of computer testing and selection of the most promising of them, capable, on the one hand, to simplify the testing process, and on the other hand, significantly improve the efficiency of testing and evaluation of students' knowledge. Изложен комплексный подход к выбору геотехнологий реконструкции канализационных тоннелей на протяженных участках в сложных грунтовых условиях, при техногенных воздействиях и непрерывном транспортировании стоков. На основе анализа опыта эксплуатации длительно функционирующих канализационных тоннелей, а также результатов инструментального обследования их технического состояния описаны основные факторы техногенного и природного характера, снижающие конструкционную безопасность и устойчивость функционирования наиболее нагруженных участков системы тоннельных коллекторов водоотведения. Отмечено отсутствие данных по этому вопросу в нормативной базе и технической литературе. Приведены преимущества и недостатки применяемых технологий санации канализационных тоннелей. Предложены рекомендации и требования к санации тоннелей в зависимости от грунтовых условий, степени износа, протяженности участка, динамики транспортирования сточных вод.A comprehensive approach to the selection of geotechnologies for the reconstruction of long sections of sewer tunnels in complicated ground conditions, under technogenic impact and continuous transportation of effluents is described. Based on the analysis of operating longrunning sewer tunnels, as well as the results of an instrumental examination of their technical condition, the main factors of technogenic and natural origin that reduce their design safety and sustainable operation of the most loaded sections of the system of sewer tunnels are described. The lack of data on this issue in the regulatory framework and technical literature is noted. The advantages and disadvantages of the applied technologies of sewer tunnel rehabilitation are given. Recommendations and requirements to the rehabilitation of tunnels are proposed depending on the ground conditions, wear rate, section length, dynamics of wastewater transportation.

Choosing the calculation method for the enclosing excavation pit structures is an urgent issue, since the results of the calculations determine the selection of the geometric and mechanical parameters, as well as the estimated cost of materials and works. At present, at calculation of the enclosing structures of excavation pits, there are used classical semi-graphical solutions, semi-analytical programs and software packages based on the finite element method. Each method has its own prerequisites and assumptions, as well as advantages and disadvantages. The purpose of this article is presentation of comparative analysis results of the main methods for calculating the enclosing structures of excavation pits considering their features and boundary conditions of application. The author has performed test calculations of the excavation pit enclosing structures using the elastic line method in the SCAD and PLAXIS 2D software packages. The author has also developed and proposed a simplified method for calculating pit fences. This method can be used at the pre-project stage of construction in the form of preliminary calculation or as additional verification calculation of the stability, strength and deformability of pit enclosing structures.

The subject of the research – is a set of organizational-economic relations arising in the process of structural transformation of financial and credit relations in the agricultural business. The purpose of the article is a retrospective analysis of structural transformations of financial and credit relations in the agricultural business, evaluation of the effectiveness and feasibility of the introduction of agricultural receipts as a new instrument of lending to the agricultural business of the regions. Methodology of work – system-structural and comparative analyzes (to determine the effectiveness of the crediting mechanism according to the agricultural receipts of the farmers of the region); monographic (when studying the problems of the functioning of the mechanism of lending to agrarians by agrarian receipts) economic analysis (when carrying out a comparative analysis of the mechanism of classical bank lending to the agrarian business and the mechanism of lending to agrarians according to agrarian receipts); modeling and forecasting (when determining ways to overcome the existing deficiencies in the mechanism of lending to agrarian business entities of the region according to agrarian receipts). The results of the work – a retrospective analysis of the structural transformation of financial and credit relations in the agricultural business was carried out. The mechanism of crediting agrarians according to agrarian receipts and the scale of its distribution in the agrarian business of the region are considered. A comparative analysis of the mechanism of classical bank lending to the agrarian business and the mechanism of lending to agrarians according to agrarian receipts was carried out. In the framework of the pilot project “Agrarian receipts in Ukraine” of the international financial corporation (IFC) in partnership with the Swiss Confederation in Ukraine, the example of the Poltava region defined the effectiveness of the crediting mechanism according to the agrarian receipts of the agrarians of the region. The advantages and disadvantages of the mechanism of crediting the subjects of the agrarian business on agrarian receipts are noted. The ways to overcome the existing shortcomings of the mechanism of crediting the subjects of the agrarian business of the region according to agricultural receipts are determined. Conclusions – according to the results of the conducted research, the effectiveness of the mechanism of lending to the agricultural business of the regions according to agricultural receipts was proved, its advantages and disadvantages were noted, and attention was also focused. Proposed in Art. 7 of Law No. 5479-VI clearly delineate cases and restrictions on the debtor’s reimbursement of expenses incurred by the lender with the acquisition of the right to grow and harvest the pledged crop of agricultural products, which will ensure the principle of equality of parties on economic benefits and distribution of credit risks according to agricultural receipts.

В статье рассматривается вопрос совершенствования системы управления параллельно-работающими насосными агрегатами с целью повышения энергоэффективности их работы. Проведено сравнение и выявление недостатков существующих методов решения рассматриваемой проблемы. Предложена идея нового подхода на базе онлайн оптимизации. The problem under consideration is improvement of the energy efficiency of a control system of parallel-running pump units. Known methods used to solve this problem are considered. Their advantages and disadvantages are shown. Finally, the idea of a new approach, which is based on online optimization, is proposed.
