In order to calculate the friction work of lock-up clutch, which come from the lock-up process of hydraulic torque converter, this article established a simplified dynamic model of the engine and hydraulic torque converter , according to the route of power transmission and the rule of moment balance. And then the mathematical model of the lock-up process was deduced. This article reached a calculation method of lock-up clutch friction work by the mathematical model , and did some further simplified. Meanwhile, the lock-up process was simulated by Matlab/Simulink. By analyzing the simulatin resultthe computed result of machinery bookthe computed result of the improved method, the correctness of the improved method was verified.

This paper investigates a mathematical model of one elements of the power supply system - power transmission lines. The type of models depends on the initial simplifications, which in turn are determined by the complexity of the physics of processes. The task of improving the accuracy of modeling of emergency processes in the power system is due to the significant complexity of modern power systems and their equipment, high-speed relay protection, automation of emergency management and the introduction of higher-speed switching equipment. One of the reasons for a significant number of serious emergencies in the system is the lack of complete and reliable information for modeling modes in the design and operation of power systems. The development of a mathematical model of a three-phase power line, which provides adequate reflection of both normal and emergency processes, is relevant. The advanced mathematical model of power transmission lines allows to investigate various operational modes of electric networks. The improved mathematical model of the power transmission line reflects all the features of physical processes at state modes and transient process and provides sufficient accuracy of the results. The type of mathematical model of power transmission lines depends on the accepted simplifications, depending on the task of research. The purpose of this work is to analyze the mathematical model of the power transmission line to study the modes of operation of the power supply system, with the possibility of its application to take into account all the design features of overhead and cable power lines. The mathematical model of the power line for the study of the modes of operation of the power supply system is analyzed. It is used to take into account the design features of overhead and cable power lines, skin effect.

A mathematical model of a new “full-bridge Buck inverter–DC motor” system is developed and experimentally validated. First, using circuit theory and the mathematical model of a DC motor, the dynamic behavior of the system under study is deduced. Later, the steady-state, stability, controllability, and flatness properties of the deduced model are described. The flatness property, associated with the mathematical model, is then exploited so that all system variables and the input can be differentially parameterized in terms of the flat output, which is determined by the angular velocity. Then, when a desired trajectory is proposed for the flat output, the input signal is calculated offline and is introduced into the system. In consequence, the validation of the mathematical model for constant and time-varying duty cycles is possible. Such a validation of this mathematical model is tackled from two directions: (1) by circuit simulation through the SimPowerSystems toolbox of Matlab-Simulink and (2) via a prototype of the system built by using Matlab-Simulink and a DS1104 board. The good similarities between the circuit simulation and the experimental results allow satisfactorily validating the mathematical model.

According to the requirements of hydraulic transmission to two-way cartridge valve, and from the practical point of view a water hydraulic two-way cartridge valve was designed. Then its structure characteristics was introduced and the mathematical model was established. The simulation analysis of the water hydraulic two-way cartridge valve has been carried out through Matlab/Simulink proving that its structure was reasonable and it had good performances.

The dynamic equation of a robotic manipulator with joint irregularities is formulated and employed for the prediction of the positioning accuracy and precision of a robotic manipulator in high-speed operation. The mathematical model is derived by incorporating a dynamic model of irregular joints in an ideal robotic equation and employing the Lagrangian formulation. The joint irregularity is modelled as an elastic sliding pair which consists of a journal with an irregular surface sliding on the surface of an elastic bearing. By employing Gaussian linearization methods, the operational accuracy and precision of the robotic manipulator are obtained from mean and covariance propagation equations of the robotic system. The operation of a single-arm robotic manipulator with joint irregularities is investigated for demonstrating the applications of the present techniques.

The paper uses the object-oriented modeling method to analysis the hydraulic AGC system and the operation mechanism about a strip mill. It discusses the Coulomb force and roll eccentricity which usually were ignored on rolling process. And improves the mathematical model that reflect the actual AGC system. By simulation, we compared it with the actual rolling process and verified the correction of the mathematical model. And, it will make the good foundation for on-the-spot practical application.

Airbag is widely used in heavy equipment dropped field with its efficient cushion performance and low cost. The calculation method used now for the process of airbag landing mainly is simulative calculation: analytical analysis and finite element simulation, but there are less systematic introduction for the mathematical model behind these methods in past papers. This paper mainly does the summary for the mathematical model of vented airbag which is usually used.

Based on the continuity equation and the motion equation of fluid dynamics, a mathematical model of high pressure transients in water hydraulic pipeline is presented. In the model, the friction item is consist of steady friction item and dynamic friction item, using the Darcy-Weisbach equation to solve steady viscous friction item and using four exponential terms instead of weighting function to solve dynamic friction item. By finite difference method accompanied with Matlab/Simulink, an example of high pressure turbulent flow in water hydraulic pipeline is configured so as to simulate the dynamic characteristics of pressure transients. The comparison between the observed result and the simulation result shows the mathematical model of high pressure transients in water hydraulic pipeline with turbulent flow is reasonable.

In this paper, the eigenvalue elasticity and sensitivity values of the mathematical model of transmission dynamics of corruption were obtained and presented using the eigenvalue elasticity and sensitivity analysis methods. The parameter with the greatest impact on the mathematical model was determined using the methods. This parameter will assist the government on how to reduce and provide measures to eradicate corrupt practices among the populace. From the mathematical model of corruption presented, it was obtained that the effective contact rate of corruption has the highest value when using the eigenvalue elasticity and sensitivity analysis.

Fishing vessels are designed with a specific mission. That mission is to locate, catch, and preserve fish while out at sea, meanwhile the vessel needed to have good maneuverability. This research describes a study on asymmetrical propeller configuration of a fishing vessel to improve its maneuvering quality. MATLAB-simulink program was used to simulate, the turning circle and the zigzag maneuvers. The simulation program was developed based on the mathematical model for a fishing vessel maneuvering. The mathematical model involved the setting-up a 3 DOF (Degres of Freedom) mathematical model in a modular of MMG (Mathematical Modeling Group) of the hull, propeller and rudder component. The result indicated that twin propeller with asymmetrical had an advantages of turning circle ability of 8% to 14 %, meanwhile the zigzag maneuver 20°/20° had 9 to 20 % 1st overshoot different between left and right heading.                                                                                         Keywords: Configuration, propeller, assymetrical, fisheries, simulation
