A high-speed craft in the supersonic speed, ambient temperature and pressure would affect its structure, heat flow fluid-solid coupling simulation can quantify the effect. Due to physical fields had different heat flow fluid-solid coupling simulation, the data transmission was needed when the fluid dynamics to calculate the quantities of the import structure field. This paper given the derivation process and method of the physical fields data transfer, fluid dynamics to calculate the data in the simulation of structure field was implemented and to quantify the temperature field and stress field impacted on structure field.

To improve data transmission performance of the data acquisition card, a design of high-speed data transmission system is proposed in the thesis. Using FPGA of programmable logic devices, adopting Verilog HDL of hardware description language, the design of modularization and DMA transmission method is implemented in FPGA. Eventually the design implements the data transmission with high-speed through PCI Express interface. Through simulation and verification based on hardware system, this design is proved to be feasible and can satisfy the performance requirements of data transmission in the high-speed data acquisition card applied in high-speed railway communication. The design also has some value of application and reference for a universal data acquisition card.

Visible light communication (VLC) is an upcoming wireless technology for next-generation communication for high-speed data transmission. It has the potential for capacity enhancement due to its characteristic large bandwidth. Concerning signal processing and suitable transceiver design for the VLC application, an amplification-based optical transceiver is proposed in this article. The transmitter consists of a driver and laser diode as the light source, while the receiver contains a photodiode and signal amplifying circuit. The design model is proposed for its simplicity in replacing the trans-impedance and transconductance circuits of the conventional modules by a simple amplification circuit and interface converter. The system was tested at communication distances of 1m and 3.5m using a terminal emulation program for data transfer between two computing devices.

Ultrasonic power and data transfer through multilayered curved walls is investigated using numerical and experimental analysis. The acoustic channel used in this paper is formed by two concentric pipes filled with water, aiming for applications that involve powering and monitoring sensors installed behind the pipe walls. The analysis was carried out in the frequency and time domains using numerical and experimental models. Power and data were effectively simultaneously transferred through the channel. A remote temperature and pressure sensor was powered and interrogated throughout all the layers, and the power insertion loss of 10.72dB with a data transmission rate of 1200 bps using an amplitude modulated scheme with Manchester coding. The efficiency of the channel was evaluated through an experimental analysis of bit error rate (BER) with different values of SNR, showing a decreasing in number of errors comparing with the detection without Manchester coding.

Broadband is a term that describes the Internet as a function of high-speed data connections and large bandwidth. The Federation Communication Commission (FCC) defines broadband service as data transmission speeds exceeding 200 kilobits per second (Kbps), or 200,000 bits per second, in at least one direction, either downstream or upstream. Its fundamental ability to bring about change in the socioeconomic fabric hinges on it being a medium for greater amount of data transmission. Briefly, high capacity bandwidth allows greater amount of information to be transmitted which is the essence of all applications and communications. It is widely predicted that Internet through broadband will quickly penetrate the residential markets that is in line with the National Broadband Plan (NBP) that focuses on infrastructure readiness and market penetration, expediting the rollout of broadband using both fixed and wireless access. The first in the list of 10 National Policy Objectives as stated in the Communications & Multimedia Act (CMA) 1998 reports the aspiration of turning Malaysia into a communications and multimedia global hub. Hashim (2006) states that a secretariat has been formed to roll out the NBP to ensure its success and to achieve the 10% of the population by 2008. Indeed, one of the fundamental strategies to accomplish such a vision is to put in place an efficient broadband network and ensure sufficient subscription to the services. Broadband is different from conventional dial-up services due to its many enhanced capabilities. It provides access to a wide range of Internet services and applications like streaming media, Internet phone, online gaming, and other interactive services. Many of these current and newly developed services are “bandwidth hungry,” thus requiring large amounts of data transfer at excessively fast speed, which may not be technically feasible with dial-up service. Therefore, broadband service may be increasingly necessary to access a full range of services and opportunities beyond what a dial-up service could potentially offer. Many residential customers who have been using traditional dial-up have been migrating to broadband. The constantly connected Internet accessibility remains another lucrative benefit for broadband converts as compared to the dial-up technology. Broadband technology does not block phone lines nor requires one to reconnect to the network after logging off. The dedicated connection for the user translates into less delay in transmission of content. A faster connection speed could allow users to access a wide range of resources, services, and products.

SuperSpeed bus, also known as USB3.0 bus or SuperSpeed USB bus, is the newest USB bus technology. This paper presents an innovative DMA transfer method called Multi-thread Chain DMA for SuperSpeed bus video data transmissions. The maximum 5Gbps giant data rate of SuperSpeed bus demands a high speed and high reliability DMA method. However, traditional DMA method can not achieve this required data rate due to its separate data transmission and reception. Unlike traditional DMA method, utilizing a novel designed mechanism, Multi-thread Chain DMA transfer method transmits and receives data concurrently, achieves SuperSpeed data rate and guarantees no data loss. Furthermore, one communication protocol for SuperSpeed video transmission is designed and implemented to comply with USB Video Class (UVC) standard. The field trial has demonstrated Multi-thread Chain DMA transfer method and SuperSpeed video communication protocol in the article are feasible and rich in value of research.
