At present, the productivity benefits of inkjet printing technology with high speed shows a rapid expanding trends, however, the precondition of which is its high quality presswork. Therefore, one of the top priorities now is to find better way to evaluate the presswork quality scientifically and effectively. A new parameter, ink dot fidelity, was introduced as an evaluation criterion to study the presswork quality in this paper. The four evident effect factors that fluctuated more during the printing process were chosen, such as the paper transmission speed, the print head (nozzle) voltage, the ink cartridge pressure and the distance between the print head and paper, to make the scientific orthogonal experiment design. The fluctuation rules of the ink dot fidelity corresponding to each effecting factors were obtained through intuitively analyzing of the orthogonal tables and the effect curves. Based on the experiment, the test data were fitted and optimized by using the mathematical analysis software of MATLAB and the least-square method. And then the mathematical model for ink dot fidelity and these affecting factors were created. Finally, the user interface (GUI) design platform was developed to improve the man-machine communication and the ink dot fidelity, or the presswork quality.

The roundness error is an important index of mechanical part and its interchangeability, it is the key to quality of product. A new method for calculating the roundness error based on artificial bee colony algorithm has been proposed in this paper. Artificial bee colony algorithm is an evolutionary computation. It has the character of simple technique, easy digital realization and few controlling parameters. Firstly, the basic principle of artificial bee colony algorithm is concisely introduced in this paper. The detailed steps for calculating the roundness error based on artificial bee colony algorithm have been described. Finally experiment results are given. These results have shown that the proposed method can correctly and effectively evaluate roundness error. The proposed method can overcome the local convergence in evaluation of roundness error based on least square method (LSM).

Combined with the contents of the study-PSS low-pass link parameter identification. Least-squares method is selected. Using least-square method for PSS low-pass link mathematical model are also deduced. For the results, because of the mathematical model is solving nonlinear equations, cannot used by the Newton method directly. So we choose to use Newton iterations, with this feature, choose to use MATLAB software to solve the equation. Identification of the use of MATLAB software lags after the PSS parameters obtained recognition results compared with national standards, identifying and verifying the practicability.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence spiritual leadership and reward toward employee performance with quality of work life and job satisfaction as mediating variable. The object of research in this study is Pasuruan Regency Transportation Office. Data analysis uses the Partial Least Square method with the software of SmartPLS. Data is collected by distibuting questionnaire to all of 86 staff as the respondents. The results show Spiritual leadership does not affect the employee performance; reward has no effect on employee performance; Spiritual leadership does not affect employee performance mediated by the quality of work life; Reward cannot influence employee performance through the quality of work life as a mediating variable; Spiritual leadership does not have an effect on employee performance which is mediated by quality of work life; the indirect effect between reward on employee performance through mediating job satisfaction is significant; The quality of work life has insignificant effect on employee performance; Job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. The results give significant implications on practice and literature on the influence of spiritual leadership and reward on performance. This research provides information that can be used as a guideline for the Pasuruan Communication Office to increase employee satisfaction and performance

In the cutting process, cutting force is one of the important physical parameters, which affects the generation of cutting heat, tool life and surface precision of workpiece directly. In this paper an orthogonal design of experiment and subsequent data is analyzed using high speed finish hard cutting GCr15 whose hardness is 65HRC. Cutting speed is 200-400m/min, to study the influence of cutting parameters on cutting force, cutting force empirical model has obtained from least square method.

Recently, traffic accidents due to drowsy driving, operation mistake in the power plant by drowsiness and decrease arousal in employment during work have been attracted as problems. To avoid such an accident, arousal level could be quantitatively evaluated in real time. We suggested that the one of the parameters of Duffing oscillator parameters is related to the conventional arousal level using the EEG frequency component. However, in this examination, effects on the EEG from visual and active behavior were considered, but those from hearing also need to be investigated. In this paper, we performed the experiment in the musical environment using rock and classic music to investigate the model parameters for effect of the auditory stimulation, and acquired EEG data in Visual cortex and Frontal lobe. The acquired EEG data was used to identify the model parameters, which were identified solving the inverse problem by Least Square method. Results of investigating correlation between conventional arousal revel and model parameter shows a significant correlation in case of the auditory environmental situation. Moreover, Visual cortex is better than Frontal lobe as a measurement point in this evaluation method.

Least square method (LSM) is the most popular method used to evaluate machining error nowadays. However, LSM is likely to overestimate the error value, therefore its solution is only approximate and rather than minimum. In order to obtain the minimum, we study the principle of the minimum zone tolerance method (MZT), analyze the characteristics of the new generation GPS, and give the minimum zone mathematic model of the symmetry error for flatness to flatness. For the purpose of optimizing the mathematical model, this paper describes the application of adaptive genetic algorithm to achieve the best estimation. Simultaneously, the process of optimization is realized by MALTAB. Finally, the experiment shows that the evaluation results of MZT is better than evaluation results of LSM.

The high-speed blanking process applying precision progressive die represents the one of the highest level of today’s stamping technology, mainly is used for the production of the ultra-thin, small, complex electronic components. An orthogonal experiment scheme with three factors (including blanking clearance, surface roughness of the die, stamping speed) was established in this paper based on the actual production. The high-speed blanking process experiment applying precision progressive die was carried out base on this scheme. The quality of the shearing edging of blanking parts was used to evaluate the different influence degree of three factors. The result showed that the surface roughness of the die affected the quality of the shearing edging more than that of the other two. The higher the die surface accuracy, the better the quality of the shearing edging. The result also showed that the high speed can reduce the quantity of the burr of the blanking of the ultra-thin sheet metal.

A new 5-DOF flexible coordinate measuring machine (CMM) is introduced in this paper, which uses REVO system produced by Renishaw. According to the D-H method, the mathematical model is built, and then the error model of the flexible CMM is derived. The parameter calibration based on the nonlinear least square method is analyzed theoretically. Due to the disadvantages of Gauss-Newton method, LM method is researched, which improved the singularity of the coefficient matrix. The calibration analysis is a basis for improving accuracy of the flexible CMM.
