The SVPWM technique plays an important role in the DC-AC transform. The modeling and simulation for SVPWM were proposed in this paper. The sector calculating model and basic vector working time model were set up. The effective vector function of time was set up. The triangle wave symmetry modulation was established too. The simulation results show that the model proposed in this paper is effective and has application value.

There is still lack of effective modeling and simulation method for complex electromechanical coupling system. Modelica is a multi-domain unified modeling language to solve the modeling and simulation problems of the complex and heterogeneous physical systems. Dymola is a Modelica-based modeling and simulation platform for the complex physical systems. In this paper, the dynamics model of the permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM)-precision reducer system is established using Lagrange-Maxwell equation. The simulation model of this system is set up with Modelica language. The simulation of the system is realized in Dymola. Results show that the system can respond to good static and dynamic characteristics under a given speed for different loads. The dynamics model of the PMSM-precision reducer system can be further used in system control and optimization. The proposed modeling and simulation method based on Modelica may be commonly applied to other complex electromechanical systems.

With the increased requirements for smaller size and more functions, hand held devices will use more and more small components to reduce the PWB areas. One of the solutions is stacked package. There are two kinds of stacked packages: one is die stacking and the other is package stacking. The package stacking is a more flexible solution for device manufacturers because the packages to be stacked could come from different vendors. All the packages can be tested separately before stacking so that there is no need for device manufacturers to acquire good dies or intellectual properties for die testing. In this study, the focus will be on the package stacking. The package stacking can be ASIC and memory stacking or memory and memory stacking. Three different stacked packages are selected for this study. Here the focus is on FEA modeling and simulation method for package stacking. Finally, the simulation results are compared with the results of thermal cycling test. A reasonable correlation is achieved based on current simulation method.

According to analyze the Principal Component Regression, and set up a modeling about the watt loss in a certain vehicle transmission, which the modeling result is keeping a line with the real value. Moreover, compared with the comprehensive watt loss modeling which is the popular application currently, and to analyze the two simulation results in the relative error, which can prove the new simulation result is useful and valid.

Since the millennium, the labour market participation of women and mothers is increasing across European countries. Several work/care policy measures underlie this evolution. At the same time, the labour market behaviour of fathers, as well as their involvement in care work, is relatively unchanging, meaning that employed mothers are facing an increased burden with respect to gainful employment and providing care. We propose a family working-time model that incentivizes fathers and mothers to both work in extended part-time employment. It provides a benefit in the form of a lump-sum transfer or income replacement for each parent if, and only if, both parents work 30 hours/week. Thus, it explicitly addresses fathers and – contrary to most conventional family policies – actively promotes the dual earner/dual carer paradigm. Combining microsimulation and labour supply estimation, we empirically analyse the potential of the family working-time model in the German context. The relatively small share of families already choosing the symmetric distribution of about 30 working hours would increase by 60 percent. By showing that a lump-sum transfer especially benefits low-income families, we contribute to the debate about redistributive implications of family policies. The basic principles of the model generalize to other European countries where families increasingly desire an equal distribution of employment and care. In order to enhance the impact of such a policy, employers’ norms and workplace culture as well as the supply of high-quality childcare must catch up with changing workforce preferences.

Aiming at the requirements of autonomous control for stratospheric airships, based on description of the modeling plant and forces analysis in detail, the dynamic model is established by Newton Method. The motion characteristics of airships under control action are analyzed using simulation method. Simulation results indicate the correctness of dynamic model, and can make itself a theoretical basis for the overall design of the stratospheric airship.

A simulation method was presented based on the theory analysis and ozone reaction equation. The preliminary mathematical models of ozonation correlative to oily pollutant removal were set up by numerical simulation. The ozonation models implied removal ratio of oil related to reaction time, ozone dosage and initial oil content. The simulation results were consistent with the experimental data.

The started motors are characterized by the low staring torque and large currents when the motors draw the heavy-loads. Therefore, a method of motor discrete variable frequency soft starting based on the variable reactance is presented in this paper [1,2]. According to the topological structure and working principle of motor discrete variable frequency soft starting based on the variable reactance, the simulation model of the system has been set up by the Matlab/Simulink tool. Simulation results show that the motor starters developed with this method have been successfully applied to the loads of the drive equipment in the kiln, coal grinding mill or the mine. It can improve the starting performance when the motors draw the heavy-loads., save energy, stabilize the voltage of the power supply network.
