Modern architecture design lays more emphasis on the authenticity and regionality of the building.The basic tectonic principles are the real material performance and real construction expression. Architecture artistic is based on the internal expressive force of the structural system. And the logicality of building structure is given the inner beauty of architectural image. Modern timber-structure building is breaking the fetter of formalism in the aspect of structure performance. Its tectonic methods are making the positive exploration in terms of the architectural context inheritance.

The accurate identification of the dynamic response characteristics of a building structure excited by input signals such as real earthquake or wind load is essential not only for the evaluation of the safety and serviceability of the building structure, but for the verification of an analytical model used in the seismic or wind design. In the field of system identification (SI) which constructs system matrices describing the accurate input/output relationship, it is critical that input should have enough energy to excite fundamental structural modes and a good quality of output containing structural information should be measured. In this study forced vibration testing which is important for correlating the mathematical model of a structure with the real one and for evaluating the performance of the real structure was implemented. There exist various techniques available for evaluating the seismic performance using dynamic and static measurements. In this paper, full scale forced vibration tests simulating earthquake response are implemented by using a hybrid mass damper. The finite element (FE) model of the structure was analytically constructed using ANSYS and the model was updated using the results experimentally measured by the forced vibration test. Pseudo-earthquake excitation tests showed that HMD induced floor responses coincided with the earthquake induced ones which was numerically calculated based on the updated FE model.

The paper presented the research on for German Navy's second battalion headquarters building site from the perspectives of building site, building plane, building facades and building structure. building site conformed to terrain, Shapes of building facades were flexible and varied, the overall architectural construction was brick-stone-wood composite structure.The building style was the typical of German Romanticism, both in layout or in the facade shape, color, structure, etc.; it had shown the lively romantic chic, eclectic architectural style.

The difference between the “real,” “authentic” life and its mere representation has saturated the philosophical discourse from its very onset. Debord’s The Society of the Spectacle usually gets categorized as a further elaboration on this issue. The essential misapprehension of such an understanding lies in the disregard of Debord’s constitutive thesis: “the spectacle is not a collection of images; it is a social relation between people that is mediated by images.” (§ 4) In cultural perspectives, the “real” material dynamics of life – relations between people – is replaced by a purported exchange of images which lack any authenticity. The concept of cognitive capitalism (Vercellone, 2005), with its theses on the contemporary domination of information and knowledge within capitalist reproduction, further validates this opposition. According to Doogan’s (2009) thoroughly researched and empirically founded insights, our world is still heavily dominated by crude material production which precludes any notion of a new, post-Fordist, virtual, immaterial, post-work stage of capitalism. Similarly, Huws (2003, 2014) warns of the dubious status of the concepts of fluid identities, or hybrid subjectivities, and stresses the prevalence of class and gender issues which still substantially affect the working spheres. Drawing on Davis’s (2013) insights on the necessity of class analysis for the comprehension of the artistic field, I will present the modes in which “creativity” functions as a neoliberal buzzword. More specifically, I will outline the ways in which systemic exploitation, as an intrinsic feature of capitalism, still structures the dynamics of the art field, particularly areas that are fashionably known as “creative industries”.

<p>The migration subject from the countries of North Africa and the Middle East to Europe was one of the main subjects of 2015-2016 on the Russian television, in particular, in information programs. In the real research we also explore the period from May 15 to May 22, 2017 with the purpose of tracking the appeal of journalists to this subject a year later after its active lighting in world media. At the same time the analysis of speech dynamics changes in texts of information programs on the basis of which conclusions on this research were drawn became a main objective. Let us note that several scientific approaches to a research of the television speech are known: lingual-and-stylistic, social-and-linguistic, psycho-linguistic, culturological, structural, system, functional approaches. In literature are in this regard described also effect of priming and cultivation. Besides, the new information era and a variety of information sources led to information overload which became a studying subject for representatives of cognitive sciences. Language and stylistic features of the television speech on an immigration subject in the real research are considered as a telespeech implementer in communication aspect. The research of its internal linguistic component, including phonetic implementers, became a basis of their studying. Results of the research conducted on the basis of the Kazan Federal University are given in the article. The author shows two-year speech dynamics changes in plots of information releases of the central TV channels with the universal programming strategy concerning a subject of mass migration to Europe. </p>

The selection of material is one of the important aspects used to design a building as it is known that every type of material has a different characteristic. The steel material used as the main component of building structure because of its ductility is more than another material which is the main criterion to design an earthquake resistance building. In this paper, an earthquake steel resistant structure building will be design. This building structure will consist of a five-story office with a regular structure configuration. A special moment frame (SMF) used as the resisting structure system of the earthquake loads as the amount of its load is analyzed using the spectrum response method. The steel material used is type of A36 (fy = 250 MPa; fu = 400 MPa), concrete used f’c = 30 MPa. The design process then produces an earthquake steel resistant structure building, which satisfies the requirement of story drift with a maximum number of story drift occurred in the 2nd story which is 93.5 mm less than allowed story drift that is 95 mm. A structure element dimension used is a beam with a profile of W16x7x40 for every level in the X-axis direction, and the beam with a profile is W14x6.75x38 for every level in Y-axis direction, 12 cm thick plates and column with a profile W14x16x211 is regularly used to every level.

The article deals with the interdependent relationship between the properties of a structure and the properties of a material, which sets the task of reducing them, even they are indistinguishable, to a certain integrity. The object of research and analysis in the article is a building structure, which is seen as an open self-organized complex structural system. In the main part, the processes of the formation of structures are considered, as well as the classification of structural elements. The article concludes with structural changes related to the self-support and self-development of the network of active elements, which allow the manifestation of adaptation effects and the design-system to function during the normalized period. The importance of self-organization processes during the development and operation of construction systems allow us to attribute it to a self-organizing system. Thus, the building structure can be represented as an open and complex self-organizing system.

In this article, we highlight an underappreciated individual difference: structure building. Structure building is integral to many everyday activities and involves creating coherent mental representations of conversations, texts, pictorial stories, and other events. People vary in this ability in a way not generally captured by other better known concepts and individual difference measures. Individuals with lower structure-building ability consistently perform worse on a range of comprehension and learning measures than do individuals with higher structure-building ability, both in the laboratory and in the classroom. Problems include a range of comprehension processes, including encoding factual content, inhibiting irrelevant information, and constructing a cohesive situation model of a text or conversation. Despite these problems, recent research is encouraging in that techniques to improve the learning outcomes for low-ability structure builders have been identified. We argue that the accumulated research warrants the recognition of structure building as an important individual difference in cognitive functioning and that additional theoretical work is needed to understand the underpinnings of structure-building deficits.

One approach to promote forest growth is the pruning and thinning of trees. In the field of building structure, it is necessary to use thinned woods as timber positively. However, timber is too weak to apply to the large-scale buildings. Research and development of a building system to use timber are demanded. Authors propose composite steel-timber structure aiming to spread wood to building construction field considering the global environment. First, distribution volumes of planted forest of each age forest class in Japan and its CO2 fixation are shown, investigating forest resources. Finally, the specific example of a composite steel-timber structure is shown and CO2 fixation at building structure model using a composite steel-timber structure is estimated.

In this paper, the contents, meaning and importance of conceptual design in the high-rise building structure design are explored from the following respects: structural system, facade layout and multi-channel seismic line. It not only provides a strong protection of concept for calculation of high-rise building structures, but also accumulates some experience for the research on conceptual design of high-rise structures.
