This document explains and demonstrates the module design and function of the on-line inspection system using the CNC machine. We designed the system for the five axes of the Shenyang Machine Tool Co. LTD’s CNC SSK-U6035 machine. The system could automatically shape and monitor the procedure, then according to the inspection outcomes align the machine and check the machine was correct. Using this system greatly improved the inspection speed and the measurement accuracy.

Nowadays the five-axis machine tool is one of the most important foundations of manufacturing industry. To guarantee the accuracy of the complex surface machining, multi-axis linkage performance detection and compensation of five-axis machine tools is necessary. RTCP (Rotation Tool Center Point) is one of the basic essential functions for the five-axis machine tools, which can keep the tool center with the machining trajectory when five axes move synchronously. On the basis of RTCP function, a way to detect multi-axes linkage performance of five-axis machine tools is briefly introduced, and linkage error model is built in accordance with the topological structure of machine tool. Based on the feature of the linkage errors of the five-axis machine tool, the error tracing and compensation method is proposed. Some simulations and experiments that verify the error tracing method could locate the linkage error category are established. Therefore, a new attempt to detect and compensate the linkage error of the five-axis machine tool is provided in this paper.

Background: As one of the core components of high-speed CNC machine tool, high-speed motorized spindle is the core functional component of high precision CNC machine tool, which has become the key research and development object of the world. Objective: By comparing and discussing the patents of high-speed motorized spindle, some valuable conclusions have been drawn to predict the future research and development of high-speed motorized spindle. Methods: By analyzing the characteristics of high-speed motorized spindle structure, the influence of high-speed motorized spindle on high-speed machining technology was explicated. Combining with the key technology of high-speed motorized spindle, the patents related to high-speed motorized spindle structure were used for investigation. Results: With the rapid development of high-speed cutting and numerical control technology and the need of practical application, the requirement for high-speed spindle performance has increased. Motorized spindle technology has the characteristics of high speed, high strength, high power, high torque and low speed, high precision, high reliability and long life, offering diversified bearing and lubrication cooling methods and serving as an intelligent system. Conclusion: The different levels of improvement and renovation of the structure with high-speed motorized spindle, by adding lubrication and cooling device to the spindle have improve the performance of spindle, addressing the loopholes in the technology and making it more practical.

Under the demand of steel enterprise’s production and consumer’s usage, by way of making up and improving continuous function of steel strip surface defects inspection system on-line, the system of grade assessing of surface quality and defects’ information of strip steel has been set up based on quality statistical method. The system of steel strip surface quality grade assessing standards has been analyzed by many steel enterprises in different countries and gotten the limitations of some of the standards. According to the rules of the National Hardwood Lumber Association of America and the feature of Chinese steel enterprise production, the grade assessing standards of steel strip surface quality has been established. Based on character of steel strip surface defects’ information, through the analysis of the requirement, aim and function, system of grade assessing of surface quality and defects’ information managed of strip steel has been developed to fit the demand of the enterprises and consumers.

This paper presents an analytical scheme for analyzing the singular configuration problem of general five-axes CNC machine tool. A computational technique based on the generalized pseudo inverse kinematics for finding out feasible solution of the problem is proposed. The technique is then used for developing post processor algorithm of five-axes CNC machine tool. Typical examples of singularity analysis are carried out, and real cutting parts are implemented for verifying the research result.

With the development of wireless communication technology, mobile computing technology that all walks of life increasingly improve intelligence, the computer information technology are more and more been used in various fields. For Hangzhou cigarette factory, this paper is based on RFID technology, designs the wireless inspection service platform, and the system function is carried on the thorough analysis, so do the basis of dividing the corresponding subsystem and function modules, thus for the reasonable development, finally completing the design and planning of the whole system. Through wireless communication with the server for data interaction, it reduces the regional space and the limitation on the inspection work, improves the efficiency of the inspection work, and to ensure the quality of work.

This paper presents some simulation based upon a dynamic model of a feed-drive within the structure of a CNC machine tool. A DC servomotor was considered as actuation device for the feed drive. For a given set of parameters for the position controller, two fuzzy types of fuzzy controllers were tested by means of simulation. The first fuzzy controller was a proportional one, with one input and one output, while the second one was a two variables one, with two inputs and one outputp.
