Developing easy cleaning and antibacterial ceramics is the key to actualize the ceramics with functionalized, high-quality and band established in china. This paper which combined with research status from home and broad analysed the performance influence of ceramic glaze with different processing methods and discussed the way and methods which can improve the quality of ceramics.

Subject. The article reviews the way strategic threats to energy security influence the quality of people's life. Objectives. The study unfolds the theory of analyzing strategic threats to energy security by covering the matter of quality of people's life. Methods. To analyze the way strategic threats to energy security spread across cross-sectoral commodity and production chains and influences quality of people's living, I applied the factor analysis and general scientific methods of analysis and synthesis. Results. I suggest interpreting strategic threats to energy security as risks of people's quality of life due to a reduction in the volume of energy supply. I identified mechanisms reflecting how the fuel and energy complex and its development influence the quality of people's life. The article sets out the method to assess such quality-of-life risks arising from strategic threats to energy security. Conclusions and Relevance. In the current geopolitical situation, strategic threats to energy security cause long-standing adverse consequences for the quality of people's life. If strategic threats to energy security are further construed as risk of quality of people's life, this will facilitate the preparation and performance of a more effective governmental policy on energy, which will subsequently raise the economic well-being of people.

AbstractThe objective of this research is to verify the level of relationship between the mechanisms of corporate governance and the performance of the companies of the public subsector, listed on BM&FBovespa. The research was based on the financial statements from 2010 to 2014, obtained on the BM&FBovespa website, resulting in a sample of 63 companies with 315 observations. In order to calculate the performance proxy of the company, the ROA was used, and for the calculation of the proxies of the corporate governance mechanisms were used for the quality of the audit, the concentration of ownership in common shares and preferred shares, participation in the levels of governance of BM&FBovespa, number of shares held by the government and number of directors in the Board, adapted from the Mollah and Zaman (2015) survey. Convergence with national and international research, the findings of the study showed that such variables as quality of profit, concentration of ownership in preferred shares, participation in governance levels and size of the Board are positively related to the performance of the company; already a concentration of ownership in common shares and number of shares held by the government are negatively related to performance. For future reference, it is recommended to expand other sectors of the market as well as to use other mechanisms of corporate governance, presented in the literature.Keywords: Corporate Governance. A pesquisa teve como base os dados das demonstrações financeiras de 2010 a 2014, obtidas no sítio eletrônico da BM&FBovespa, resultando assim, em uma amostra de 63 empresas, com 315 observações. Para o cálculo da proxy de desempenho da empresa foi utilizado o ROA, e para o cálculo das proxies dos mecanismos de governança corporativa foram utilizadas a qualidade da auditoria, concentração de propriedade em ações ordinárias e em ações preferenciais, participação nos níveis de governança da BM&FBovespa, número de ações mantidas pelo governo e número de diretores no Conselho, adaptado da pesquisa de Mollah e Zaman (2015). Convergente com pesquisas nacionais e internacionais, os achados desse estudo evidenciaram que as variáveis qualidade do lucro, concentração de propriedade em ações preferenciais, participação nos níveis de governança e tamanho do Conselho são positivamente relacionados com o desempenho da empresa; já a concentração de propriedade em ações ordinárias e o número de ações mantidas pelo governo são negativamente relacionadas com o desempenho. Para pesquisas futuras, recomenda-se ampliar a outros setores do mercado bem como utilizar outros mecanismos de governança corporativa, presentes na literatura.Palavras-chave: Governança Corporativa. A preliminary study at this Institute indicated that inclusion of high quality maize silage in a grass silage-based diet could promote higher forage intakes in beef cattle, but the response to inclusion of maize silage was affected by the quality of grass silage. The objective of this study was to further examine the effects of grass (GS) and maize (MS) silage qualities on intake characteristics, and to evaluate the influence of forage offered on animal performance.

Isn’t the existent always the outcome of any creative confrontation? Is such a creative discussion really out of a contextual consideration? Isn’t every context – even a purely spiritual one – part of the heritage? In his contribution, Walter Angonese reflects on the potential of the pre-existent on the architectural project. He believes in “thinking ahead” and consequently in “building on”, and that is why the question of the relevance of existing structures to architectural design has been clarified. However, he also believes that the quality of the existent can only be improved thanks to an increased habit of awareness and not only following and blaming the prescribed laws for quality assurance. This awareness raising gives responsibility to the individual within a society, but also makes him responsible for his own actions. Building in an alpine context – like any building, by the way – is therefore a question of responsibility, towards oneself and towards one’s society. If the architectural idea is built by leading it from an intuition about a cultural reflection to what one can call a real “architectural idea” (and not merely any intuition), then that is an important first step for a high-quality “continuing construction” of the existing. Only the heritage and the existent can become a meaningful starting point of the project.

The purpose of this study was examine service quality of virtual reality golf center using Importance and Performance Analysis (IPA), from September to November 2017, adult participants who participated in virtual reality golf center in Korea were selected as subjects. The collected data were analyzed and interpreted using SPSS program, frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, and Importance-Performance Analysis. The results of this study were as follows. First, quadrant 1 included six items: convenient facilities provide the latest equipment, customized response, understanding the needs of customer, interior atmosphere, and modernized facilities. Second, quadrant 2 included five items: kindness of employees, employees’ expertise, resolve immediately if a problem occurs, quickly respond to customer needs, and employee credibility. Third, quadrant 3 included six items: customer individual interest, notice of service, employees’ dress and appearance, employees’ positive attitude, provide voluntary help, and promised time and service. Fourth, quadrant 4 included 3 items: provide safe service, thinking in terms of customer, and voluntary response.

ObjectivesExternal inspections are widely used to improve the quality of care. The effects of inspections remain unclear and little is known about how they may work. We conducted a narrative synthesis of research literature to identify mediators of change in healthcare organisations subject to external inspections.MethodsWe performed a literature search (1980–January 2020) to identify empirical studies addressing change in healthcare organisations subject to external inspection. Guided by the Consolidated Framework for Implementation Research, we performed a narrative synthesis to identify mediators of change.ResultsWe included 95 studies. Accreditation was the most frequent type of inspection (n=68), followed by statutory inspections (n=19), and external peer review (n=9). Our findings suggest that the regulatory context in which the inspections take place affect how they are acted on by those being inspected. The way inspections are conducted seem to be critical for how the inspection findings are perceived and followed up. Inspections can engage and involve staff, facilitate leader engagement, improve communication and enable the creation of new networks for reflection on clinical practice. Inspections can contribute to creating an awareness of the inspected organisation’s current practice and performance gaps, and a commitment to change. Moreover, they can contribute to facilitating the planning and implementation of change, as well as self-evaluation and the use of data to evaluate performance.ConclusionsExternal inspections can affect different mediators of organisational change. The way and to what extent they do depend on a range of factors related to the outer setting, the way inspections are conducted and how they are perceived and acted on by the inspected organisation. To improve the quality of care, the organisational change processes need to involve and impact the way care is delivered to the patients.

This study aims to analyze consumer perceptions of the level of importance and performance of companies related to Ice Coconut Long Black products and to develop appropriate strategies for improving the quality of Ice Coconut Long Black products at Titik Temu Coffee Shop, Seminyak, Badung. This study uses a survey method with the distribution of questionnaires, namely an analysis of the importance and performance of Ice Coconut Long Black products and an analysis of the importance of consumers of Ice Coconut Long Black products and competing products namely Coconut Espresso Martini at Missibu Coffee Shop. These analyze use two methods, namely the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method and the Quality Function Deployment (QFD) method. In the analysis of the IPA, there are 3 attributes in the first quadrant of cartesius diagram, which is the top priority. Such product taste, product color and product price. While the value of the total suitability obtained is still below 100%, which is equal to 89,15%, which means that the importance of consumers have not been fulfilled by the performance of the company/product. Whereas QFD produces the priority of increasing product attributes starts from the product’s taste because it gets the highest repair ratio value, while the priority of increasing technical parameters starts from controlling the quality of ice cubes, coconut water and espresso because it gets the highest level of technical importance. In American football, high quality training focused on catching is currently not done with passing machines due to their poor pass accuracy and precision. From a coach’s point of view, accurate and precise passing machines are needed to relieve the quarterback from too much training effort. The two aims of this study were to increase the precision of a passing machine and develop an accurate pass prediction model for it. To meet the two aims and provide evidence that a passing machine can be precise and accurate enough for high quality training, an automated passing machine was developed and two experiments were carried out. The results of the first experiment showed that the machine performs with a precision within ±1% of the throwing distance for 218 of the 225 passes. The second experiment resulted in a pass prediction model, which is based on 55 videos and a fitting approach using a neural network. The model estimates the machine configuration for a pass to a targeted point in space. In regard to precision and accuracy, the performance of the machine exceeds the performance of a skilled quarterback. This project improves the state of the art of passing machines for American football and opens possibilities for research in various fields like motion analysis for catches, hand-eye coordination and performance analysis of athletes.

The issue of quality in higher education has been given attention in the academic and legislative environment starting with the Bologna Process. Up to that moment, everyone considered it their duty as a professor to keep up a certain academic standard, which was in fact synonymous with a high quality of the message sent to the students in a manner assumed to be impeccable. It was normal then, as it is now, to present the latest developments in a given domain at the lecture, what you considered to be the most interesting aspects, and to assess whether you have reached your goal by the audience's reactions. It was normal to openly hold a lecture, to ask and be asked questions. However, society has evolved and certainties are needed nowadays instead of assumptions, as far as quality is concerned. The Bologna process has changed higher education not only in terms of structure, but also in terms of the place that quality assurance holds in the activity of a university. Together with the Bologna Process, the Lisbon Strategy has led to the development and consolidation of universities, with a view to instating a quality culture, to providing confidence in educational services, as well as transparency and a continuous enhancement of quality.
