It is studied in this paper that in the manual SHS Welding, the amount of Ni added affects the quality of the welding, especially in view of the cracks. When the proportion of Ni is between 1.57%~7.86%, welding external appearances are in good condition. No welding cracks can be spotted. The strength of tension also reaches an optimum condition. When the proportion of Ni is 7.86%. there are internal cracks by the examination of machine. When the proportion of Ni is between 10.2% and 15.7%, there are obvious external and internal welding cracks and the strength of tension is also the lowest, about 193MPa.

General Store is one of the important sections in Hotels that are included in the accounting Deparment. A general store is a storage place for all operational items of the hotel. Each hotel makes its own efforts to keep the inventory of the hotel which will become the guest necessities. This research aims to know what efforts are made to maintain the quality of hotel operational goods through the role of the general store section at The Phoenix Hotel Yogyakarta. Is in accordance with the standard or does not give special treatment to the operational goods (ignored). The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method by collecting data through interviews. Interviews were conducted with general store staff, cost control staff, and trainees of food beverages at The Phoenix Hotel Yogyakarta. The results of the research show that The Hotel Phoenix Yogyakarta made positive efforts that can reduce damage to goods stored in the general store and always ensure the goods that come to the guests are in good condition so that guests will feel satisfied.

Sejalan dengan perubahan Pulau Rote dari Pemerintahan Kecamatan menjadi Kabupaten, pembangunan infrastruktur pesisir dan sektor lainnya di pulau ini meningkat. Pembangunan tersebut dari tahun ke tahun dapat menimbulkan perubahan kondisi lingkungan pesisir dan perairan Pulau Rote. Perubahan kondisi lingkungan dapat diidentifikasi melalui analisis data rona lingkungan. Data seismik memperlihatkan morfologi teras-teras pantai, dan intrusi diapir serpih di perairan Pulau Rote yang mengiindikasikan pulau ini mengalami proses pengangkatan sejak ribuan tahun yang lalu hingga sekarang. Sedimen permukaan dasar laut Pulau Rote terdiri atas pasir dan pasir lanauan mengandung mineral kuarsa, piroksen, mineral karbonatan dan cangkang moluska menunjukkan kondisi lingkungan sedimentasi rendah. Baku Mutu air dan sedimen permukaan dasar laut di perairan Pulau Rote dalam kondisi baik. Jenis pantainya berupa pantai berenergi tinggi, pantai erosi, pantai teluk, dan pantai kantong pasir masih dalam kondisi baik dan cukup bagus bagi wisata pantai dan laut. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan sebagain besar kondisi lingkungan perairan Pulau Rote masih dalam kondisi baik. Sebagian kecil ada perubahan sebagai dampak aktivitas manusia. Kata kunci: rona lingkungan, geologi kelautan, intrusi, diapir serpih, Nusa Tenggara Timur, Pulau Rote Since the Rote Island government changed from the Kecamatan to Kabupaten Government, the development of coastal infrastructures and other sectors in the island increased. The development from time to time can lead to changes in coastal and marine environmental of the Rote Island. The environmental conditions can be identified through analysis environmental base data. The seismic data shows the morphology of coastal terraces, and intrusion of shale diapir in the Rote Island waters which indicate that this island has uplifted since thousands years ago until now. Surficial sediment of the Rote Island waters consists of sand and silty sand containing quartz and pyroxene minerals, and shells of mollusks which indicate low sedimentation environment. The standard quality of surface water and surficial sediment of the Rote Island is still in good condition. Coastal characteristics of this island consist of high-energy beaches, sand pocket beaches, bays, and erosion coasts which are still in good condition and suitable for tourism. This study shows that in general the environment of the Rote Island waters environment is normal conditions. A few of environmental changes is as an impact of human activities. This research is motivated by the phenomenon related to PAI lecturer performance that is not optimal yet. The government has issued policies to improve the quality of lecturers as an effort to improve the quality of education through the improvement of welfare. However, conditions in the field show that some lecturers who have received the professional allowance have not shown any significant performance improvement. Some lecturers who have very good competence sometimes not followed by high performance, this is reflected from the results of the lecturer's performance.The purpose of this research are: (1) to know the level of competence and performance of lecturers of PAI in Padang city (2) to analyze efforts to improve the performance of PAI lecturers in Padang city (3) to find the level of competence influence on PAI lecturer performance in Padang city.This research is a quantitative type with survey method and correlational approach. The population is PAI lecturers at state universities in the city of Padang totaling 30 people. The sampling technique is total sampling. Data collection techniques used were the dissemination of questionnaires, documentation and literature study. While the data analysis technique used is the normality test Kolmogorof Smirnov method. Test validity using Product Moment Pearson correlation formula. Test reliability using Alpha Cronbach and processing analysis using SPSS version 15.The research findings are: (1) the actual condition of PAI lecturer competence in public universities in Padang city is generally quite good (TCR = 3,93 / 5,00 or = 76,98%) whereas actual condition of teaching performance of lecturer PAI lecturers at state universities in Padang city were in good condition (TCR = 3.81 / 5.00 or = 69.64 %). (2) The efforts to improve the performance of PAI lecturers according to the authors include: Planning the development of lecturer's performance, organizing lecturer performance assessment, conducting lecturer performance assessment with sustainability, supervising the performance of lecturers as well as following up the results of lecturer performance assessment. (3) there is a significant positive correlation between lecturer competence and lecturer performance of 22,3 %, meaning competence contribute to lecturer performance.Suggested to the lecturers of PAI to improve the competence to produce performance as expected. The various parties who have responsibility to improve the performance of lecturers are expected to give attention to the increased competence of PAI lecturers in order to give a significant influence in order to improve the quality of national education.

Distribution of heavy metals (Hg, Cu, Pb, Zn, Cd and Cr) in the seawater and sediments were studied based on data from two oceanographic surveys carried out in Liaodong Bay in May and October 2016. The results showed that the values of heavy metals in seawater represent a uniform distribution, while no trends were detected for spatial distribution. High values of heavy metals in sediment were generally distributed nearshore areas in October. Concentrations of Pb, Zn, Hg in seawater were higher than the national guideline values of Mar. sediment quality of China. Values of Cu, Zn, Cd and Hg were higher than the national guideline values of Mar. sediment quality of China in October, while quality was in good condition in May. Correlation analysis showed that TOC was mainly contributed for the variations of heavy metals. The potential ecological risk analysis of heavy metals indicates that Hg, Cd and Cu should be listed as the priority contaminant metals in Liaodong Bay.


The purpose of this research is to reveal and describe the quality of river waters and the fish comunity in Serayu river of Banyumas regency. The study was conducted using a survey method, with purposive random sampling technique. The study was conducted in Serayu river of Banyumas regency where three major rivers lead to it, namely Klawing river, Logawa river, and Tajum river. Fish sampled by spreaded net and handweb, with ten times sampling of each peripheral in each sampling point. Sampled fishes identified based on Kottelat et al. (1993) and verified on Biology Research Center, LIPI Cibinong and www.FishBase.org. Fish community structure analyzed by: Diverse, Cluster, and Multi Dimensional Scalling (MDS) of (Clarke and Warwick, 2001). The study found that water quality of physical and chemical parameters are in good condition. It includes temperature, flowrate, clarity, dissolved oxygen level, pH, and plankton species variation in Serayu River Banyumas Residency. Most species and individual number on Serayu River Banyumas Residency are from Cyprinidae Family. Species diversity are in low condition but there are no dominancies found. Fish abundance are higher in downstream area than in upstream area, but fish species diversity are lower in downstream area than in upstream area of Serayu River Banyumas Residency. Long period of mining activity could badly affect river fish’s life.

<strong>English</strong><br />The condition of rural agriculture recently facing some big problems in particular the weakness of social capital, poverty and environmental degradation which are progressively on large scale. Vision of agricultural development 2025 is sustaining rural welfare which is characterized by highly competitive, equity and sustainable. One of very important agricultural policies is how to improve rural socio-culture regarding to most of rural people good opportunity in higher level of quality of life. Therefore, agricultural development 2025 will strongly require a comprehensive framework of socio-culture policy. There are five primary elements of socio-culture which must be developed in agricultural development 2025, that are human competency (or high quality of human capital), strong local leadership, value system, health agribusiness organization (and management) at village level, and equal social structure (being based on agrarian resources domination). It is highly recommend that framework of socio-culture policy is constructed by combination between time reference of change and level of society in one side, and elements of socio-culture which are being transformed in the other side. Social capital, such as  rural law enforcement and governmental decentralization at rural level, have to be considered as the key to success in achieving rural community welfare. Some important aspects which must be paid attention to arrange good condition for running agriculture vision 2025 are to shift development orientation (from urban bias of non-agricultural resources based and footloose industrialization) toward rural industrialization base on local natural and human resources; agrarian reform base; strengthening of social control based on civil society; harmonization of partnership among government, rural-agricultural economic actors and community; and political arrangement which farmers have higher influence in political decision.<br /><br /><br /><strong>Indonesian</strong><br />Pertanian pedesaan saat ini masih menghadapi tiga masalah besar, yaitu lemahnya modal sosial, kemiskinan dan kerusakan sumberdaya pertanian yang semakin membesar. Visi pembangunan pertanian 2025 yang sesuai adalah pertanian pedesaan yang berdaya saing tinggi, berkeadilan dan berkelanjutan. Salah satu kebijakan pembangunan pertanian yang penting adalah kebijakan pemberdayaan sosio-budaya pedesaan. Oleh karena itu pembangunan pertanian 2025 membutuhkan kerangka kebijakan sosio-budaya yang komprehensif. Ada lima elemen sosio-budaya utama yang harus dikembangkan, yaitu: kompetensi SDM, kepemimpinan lokal, tata nilai, keorganisasian (dan manajemen) usaha tingkat desa dan struktur sosial (berbasis penguasaan sumberdaya agraria). Kerangka kebijakan sosio-budaya mengacu pada kombinasi antara tingkat masyarakat dan jangka waktu di satu sisi, dan elemen sosio-budaya yang ditransformasikan di sisi lain. Modal sosial, seperti penegakan sistem hukum pedesaan dan desentralisasi pemerintahan hingga tingkat desa, harus dianggap sebagai kunci sukses pencapaian kesejahteraan masyarakat pertanian pedesaan berkelanjutan. Beberapa hal yang harus diperhatikan untuk mengkondisikan visi pertanian 2025 terwujud, yaitu: perlunya mengubah orientasi pembangunan (dari industrialisasi non-pertanian yang footloose dan bias kota) menjadi yang memihak pada industrialisasi pedesaan berbasis pertanian dan perbaikan sumberdaya agraria di pedesaan; pentingnya reformasi keagrariaan; pengembangan kekuatan kontrol masyarakat madani (civil society); sinergi (harmonis) atau partnership antara pemerintah, pelaku usaha pertanian di pedesaan dan masyarakat lokal; dan tatanan politik yang memberi posisi layak bagi petani pedesaan.

Sludge farming adalah cara biasa yang digunakan dalam loji penapisan petroleum untuk merawat sisa minyak yang mengandungi bahan berupaya terdegradasi kepada bahan yang tidak toksid terhadap kesihatan manusia dan alam sekitar. Sisa tersebut akan dibiarkan di atas tanah supaya terdegradasi secara semula jadi tetapi proses ini akan mengambil masa yang lama. Dalam kajian ini, sejenis enzim bernama Enzim EZ telah diuji untuk bioremediasi sampel sisa minyak dalam uji kaji yang berskala makmal. Keputusan menunjukkan bahawa terdapat pengurangan secara konsisten untuk kandungan minyak dan gris dalam sampel yang diuji (secara rata ~ 60%). Kandungan tersebut berkurangan dengan meningkatnya kepekatan Enzim EZ. Kandungan minyak dan gris terdegradasi dengan paling banyak dalam sampel mengandungi 100 ppm Enzim EZ iaitu dari 8% ke 2% dalam eksperimen selama sembilan minggu. Secara umum, suhu dan pH dikekalkan pada keadaan optimum, iaitu 35°C dan pH 7. Kualiti air serapan yang dihasilkan juga telah menunjukkan peningkatan kualiti di akhir eksperimen, iaitu keperluan oksigen kimia (COD) ialah 25 mg/l dan pH ialah 6.45. Kata kunci: Bioremediasi, enzim, kandungan minyak dan gris, sludge farming Sludge farming is commonly used in petroleum refinery as a method of treatment for oily waste containing degradable constituents into materials that are not hazardous to human health or the environment. The sludge is left on a designated plot of land to be biodegraded naturally, but the process could take a considerable length of time. In this study, an enzyme known as EZ-Enzyme was tested to bioremediate the oily sludge sample in a laboratory scale experiment. Results shown that there was a consistent reduction in the oil and grease (O&G) content of the tested sludge (~ 60% in average). The O&G content decreased with increase in the concentration of enzyme. The O&G content in a sludge sample decreased the most with the application of 100 pm EZ-Enzyme, which decreased from 8% to 2% within a period of nine weeks. In general, the temperature and pH of the system were maintained at optimum condition, which were 35°C and pH 7 respectively. The quality of the leachate was also improved by the end of the study, where chemical oxygen demand (COD) was 25 mg/l and pH was 6.45 respectively. India has a great cultural heritage of temples across the country. There is a wide variety of temples of variety of deities constructed from East to West and North to South of India. Most of the temples are built centuries ago and still are in good condition and the centre of cultural activities. Mahalaxmi temple precinct is a very old precinct in Kolhapur, built in 8th century by Chalukyan rulers. Every year lacs of devotees are visiting this temple of goddess Mahalaxmi from most of the part of India. The temple is constructed of basalt stone with beautiful intricate carving on it. This paper focus on indoor environmental quality of the temple which is deteriorated due to the impact of increased number of devotees. Some of the devotees face the problem of suffocation, fatigue, fainting, irritation, nasal congestion; as provision of vents are absent and natural ventilation is not available inside the shrine of goddess Mahalaxmi. Due to lack of air exchange and natural ventilation the indoor environmental quality is deteriorated. It is observed that the CO2 level is increased, decreased in O2 level, rise in temperature and humidity above the standard level causing discomfort.

Gearbox sliding bracket is an important component of Automobile Gearbox. Because it has many parts which have little difference in shape and size, it is very easy to make mistake in assembly parts of this component. Due to mass production, it is high time to develop an online inspection system for the aseembly quality. Analysis the assembly characteristic of the component, this paper develop an online inspection system which is mainly composed of a central control system(CCS) and a sensor. Under the command of the CCS, the sensor is able to automatically inspect the component’s parts of which are wrong assmbly, reverse assembly and missing assmbly. Also the sensor can send the inspection information to the CCS. Subsequently, the CCS judges the information and dispalys the judgment result in time. At the same time, through the network, it is able to send the assembly quality information to the enterprise quality management system, such as the eligible amount, the reject amount, the qualification rate. This online automatic inspection system has run in good condition since it was officially put into operation at 2007 and its accuracy comes up to 100%.

This paper analyzes the reason of a steel truss building which collapsed under a snow disaster. Firstly, the investigation and inspection in site are introduced. Secondly, based on the on site work, such as the property of the metal materials and the quality of the welding joint, the status of the structure is comprehensively determined. Thirdly, through calculation with the former results, the reason of the collapse accident is obtained. Finally, some related suggestions are proposed for the design and construction of this kind of structure.
