Gearbox sliding bracket is an important component of Automobile Gearbox. Because it has many parts which have little difference in shape and size, it is very easy to make mistake in assembly parts of this component. Due to mass production, it is high time to develop an online inspection system for the aseembly quality. Analysis the assembly characteristic of the component, this paper develop an online inspection system which is mainly composed of a central control system(CCS) and a sensor. Under the command of the CCS, the sensor is able to automatically inspect the component’s parts of which are wrong assmbly, reverse assembly and missing assmbly. Also the sensor can send the inspection information to the CCS. Subsequently, the CCS judges the information and dispalys the judgment result in time. At the same time, through the network, it is able to send the assembly quality information to the enterprise quality management system, such as the eligible amount, the reject amount, the qualification rate. This online automatic inspection system has run in good condition since it was officially put into operation at 2007 and its accuracy comes up to 100%.

Flip chip package is widely used in the electronic device manufacturing industry. The top side of a flip chip device is manufactured with solder bumps. The device is then flipped on its top so that the solder bumps can be bonded to a substrate, forming the mechanical and electrical connection between the device and substrate. As a result, the solder bumps are sandwiched between the silicon die and the substrate, making them no longer visible for usual inspection. A novel solder joint inspection system capable of evaluating the quality of the hidden solder bumps on a flip chip package has been developed using laser ultrasound techniques. The system pulses a laser onto the top surface of a chip package to generate ultrasonic waves in the package and excite structural vibrations which can then be measured using an interferometer. Since defective solder bumps cause changes in the transient vibration response of a tested sample, quality of the tested sample can be assessed by correlating its vibration responses to that of a known good device. A limitation of this implementation is the necessity of a known-good reference chip package, which typically involves expensive testing using alternate methods. In this paper, the development of a method capable of generating a virtual reference chip package is presented. This method, called Hybrid Reference Method, uses a statistical approach to find which packages in a sample set are most similar and then averages their time domain signals to generate a virtual chip package, known as the Hybrid Reference Package. The signals associated with Hybrid Reference Package are then correlated with the time domain signals obtained from the packages under inspection to obtain a quality signature. Finally, defective and non-defective chip packages are separated by estimating a beta distribution that fits the quality signature histogram of the inspected packages and then determining a cutoff threshold for an acceptable quality signature. This method was applied to two types of flip chip packages where no pre-established known-good reference package was available. The results of this quality analysis were validated by comparison with electrical test and X-ray results.

The criteria of the coordinate measurements quality at pilot-experimental production based on contemporary methods of quality management system and traditional methods of the measurements quality in Metrology are considered. As an additional criterion for quality of measurements, their duration is proposed. Analyzing the problem of assessing the quality of measurements, the authors pay particular attention to the role of technological heredity in the analysis of the sources of uncertainty of coordinate measurements, including not only the process of manufacturing the part, but all stages of the development of design and technological documentation. Along with such criteria as the degree of confidence in the results of measurements; the accuracy, convergence, reproducibility and speed of the results must take into account the correctness of technical specification, and such characteristics of the shape of the geometric elements to be controlled, such as flatness, roundness, cylindrical. It is noted that one of the main methods to reduce the uncertainty of coordinate measurements is to reduce the uncertainty in the initial data and measurement conditions, as well as to increase the stability of the tasks due to the reasonable choice of the basic geometric elements (measuring bases) of the part. A prerequisite for obtaining reliable quality indicators is a quantitative assessment of the conditions and organization of the measurement process. To plan and normalize the time of measurements, the authors propose to use analytical formulas, on the basis of which it is possible to perform quantitative analysis and optimization of quality indicators, including the speed of measurements.

Objectives: The Internet, especially YouTube, is an important and growing source of medical information. The content of this information is poorly evaluated. The objective of this study was to analyze the quality of YouTube video content on meniscus repair. The hypothesis was that this source of information is not relevant for patients. Methods: A YouTube search was carried out using the keywords "meniscus repair". Videos had to have had more than 10,000 views to be included. The videos were analyzed by two evaluators. Various features of the videos were recorded (number of views, date of publication, "likes", "don’t likes", number of comments, source, type of content and the origin of the video). The quality of the video content was analyzed by two validated information system scores: the JAMA benchmark score (0 to 4) and the Modified DISCERN score (0 to 5). A specific meniscus repair score (MRSS scored out of 22) was developed for this study, in the same way that a specific score has been developed for other similar studies (anterior cruciate ligament, spine, etc.). Results: Forty-four (44) videos were included in the study. The average number of views per video was 180,100 (± 222,000) for a total number of views of 7,924,095. The majority of the videos were from North America (90.9%). In most cases, the source (uploader) that published the video was a doctor (59.1%). A manufacturer, an institution and a non-medical source were the other sources. The content actually contained information on meniscus repair in only 50% of the cases. The mean scores for the JAMA benchmark, MD score and MRSS were 1.6/4± 0.75, 1.2/5 ± 1.02 and 4.5/22 (± 4.01) respectively. No correlation was found between the number of views and the quality of the videos. The quality of videos from medical sources was not superior to those from other sources. Conclusion: The content of YouTube videos on meniscus repair is of very low quality. Physicians should inform patients and, more importantly, contribute to the improvement of these contents.

The use and quality analysis of household compost have become very important issues in recent years due to the increasing interest in local food production and safe, self-produced food. The phenomenon was further exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic quarantine period, which gave new impetus to the growth of small home gardens. However, the knowledge associated with making high-quality compost is often lacking in home gardeners. Therefore, the objective of this research was to find answers to the following questions: can the quality of backyard compost be considered safe in terms of toxicity and nutrient content? Can weed seed dispersion affect the usability of backyard compost? In general, can the circulation of organic matter be increased with the spread of home composting? In this study, 16 different house composts were analysed for stability, weed seed contamination, toxic elements, and nutrient content using analysis of variance. The results of the research showed that the quality properties of the composts (including their weed seed dispersion effect) were greatly influenced by the different techniques and raw materials used. The toxicity levels, as well as the content of macro and microelements, were within the parameters of safe-quality compost. The specific macronutrient (Ca, Mg) and micronutrient (Fe, Mn) contents of the tested composts have a similar and, in some cases, more favorable nutrient supply capacity in crop production than the frequently-used cow manure-based composts. With a plan of basic education on composting, there is potential to encourage farmyard composting.

After completing the production of preserved eggs, traditionally, the degree of gelling is judged by allowing workers to tap the preserved eggs with their fingers and sense the resulting oscillations. The amount of oscillation is used for the quality classification. This traditional method produces varying results owing to the differences in the sensitivity of the individual workers, who are not objective. In this study, dielectric detection technology was used to classify the preserved eggs nondestructively. The impedance in the frequency range of 2–300 kHz was resolved into resistance and reactance, and was plotted on a Nyquist diagram. Next, the diagram curve was fitted in order to obtain the equivalent circuit, and the difference in the compositions of the equivalent circuits corresponding to gelled and non-gelled preserved eggs was analyzed. A preserved egg can be considered an RLC series circuit, and its decay rate is consistent with the decay rate given by mechanical vibration theory. The Nyquist diagrams for the resistance and reactance of preserved eggs clearly showed that the resistance and reactance of gelled and non-gelled eggs were quite different, and the classification of the eggs was performed using Bayesian network (BN). The results showed that a BN classifier with two variables, i.e., resistance and reactance, can be used to classify preserved eggs as gelled or non-gelled, with an accuracy of 81.0% and a kappa value of 0.62. Thus, a BN classifier based on resistance and reactance demonstrates the ability to classify the quality of preserved egg gel. This research provides a nondestructive method for the inspection of the quality of preserved egg gel, and provides a theoretical basis for the development of an automated preserved egg inspection system that can be used as the scientific basis for the determination of the quality of preserved eggs.
