According to pseudo-periodicity and ergodicity of chaotic systems, we put forward a fast algorithm to determine delay time in phase state reconstruction. The traditional method to calculate mutual information is time-consuming and complicated to realize, which greatly restricts its application. In our algorithm we gradually reduce the feasible computing interval and adjust the calculating step until satisfactory result is gotten. This method overcomes the tedious calculation of mutual information and meanwhile guarantees high precision. Finally the simulation results of Rössler and Lorenz systems verify the feasibility of our algorithm.

We focus on the synchronization of a wide class of four-dimensional (4-D) chaotic systems. Firstly, based on the stability theory in fractional-order calculus and sliding mode control, a new method is derived to make the synchronization of a wide class of fractional-order chaotic systems. Furthermore, the method guarantees the synchronization between an integer-order system and a fraction-order system and the synchronization between two fractional-order chaotic systems with different orders. Finally, three examples are presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed scheme and simulation results are given to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

In this paper, we propose a new approach to breaking down chaotic communication scheme by attacking its encryption keys. A remarkable advancement is that it can decode the hidden message exactly. This makes it become possible to break down some cascaded chaotic communication systems. We also decode digital information from the cascaded heterogeneous chaotic communication system and give the simulation results.

Principles and possibilities of synthesis and design of quaternary multiple valued regenerative CMOS logic circuits with high-impedance output state are de- scribed and proposed in the paper. Two principles of synthesis and implementation of CMOS regenerative quaternary multiple-valued logic circuits with high-impedance output state are proposed and described: the simple circuits with smaller number of transistors, and the buffer/driver circuits with decreased propagation delay time. The schemes of such logic circuits are given and analyzed by computer simulations. Some of computer simulation results confirming descriptions and conclusions are also given in the paper.

In this paper, we make an exploration of a technique to control a class of finance chaotic systems. This technique allows one to achieve the finite time stability of the finance system more effectively with less control input energy. First, the finite time stability of three dimension finance system without market confidence is analyzed by using a single controller. Then, two controllers are designed to stabilize the four-dimension finance system with market confidence. Moreover, the finite time stability of the three-dimension and four-dimension finance system with unknown parameter is also studied. Finally, simulation results are presented to show the chaotic behaviour of the finance systems, verify the effectiveness of the proposed control method, and illustrate its advantages compared with other methods.

Recently mobile network technologies develop quickly. To meet the increasing demand of wireless users, many multimedia proxies have been deployed over wireless networks. The caching nodes constitute a wireless caching system with an architecture of P2P and provide better service to mobile users. In this paper, we formulate the caching system to optimize the consumption of network bandwidth and guarantee the response time of mobile users. Two strategies: single greedy caching strategy and cooperative hybrid caching strategy are proposed to achieve this goal. Single greedy caching aims to reduce bandwidth consumption from the standpoint of each caching node, while cooperative hybrid caching allows sharing and coordination of multiple nodes, taking both bandwidth consumption and popularity into account. Simulation results show that cooperative hybrid caching outperforms single greedy caching in both bandwidth consumption and delay time.

In this paper, a simple and systematic adaptive feedback method for achieving lag projective stochastic perturbed synchronization of a new four-wing chaotic system with unknown parameters is presented. Moreover, a secure communication scheme based on the adaptive feedback lag projective synchronization of the new chaotic systems with stochastic perturbation and unknown parameters is presented. The simulation results show the feasibility of the proposed method.

This paper mainly investigated a hybrid function projective synchronization of two different chaotic systems. Based on the Lyapunov stability theory, an adaptive controller for the synchronization of two different chaotic systems is designed. This technique is applied to achieve the synchronization between Lorenz and Rössler chaotic systems, and the synchronization of hyperchaotic Rössler and Chen systems. The numerical simulation results illustrate the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed scheme.

If the SA and AV oscillators are not synchronized, it may arise some kinds of blocking arrhythmias in the system of heart. In this paper, in order to examine the heart system more precisely, we apply the three-oscillator model of the heart system, and to prevent arrhythmias, perform the following steps. Firstly, we add a voltage with rang a1 and ω frequency to SA node. Then, we use delay time factor in oscillators and finally the appropriate control is designed. In this paper, we have explained how simulating and curing these arrhythmias are possible by designing a three-oscillator system for heart in the state of delay and without delay and by applying an appropriate control. In the end, we present the simulation results.
