In order to study the influence of pH value on the plastic water-based gravure ink, the primary ink that is dispersed by high-speed grinding is maxed with good- compatible water-based resin (solution resin) and promoter in proportion. Getting the different pH value of ink samples by two methods, one way is the Amine neutralizers were added in the ink samples, the other is alkaline substances of the ink samples were volatilized by raising temperature. The influence of the pH value to the property of ink was analyzed by testing the pH value, viscosity, stetting, and glossiness of the proofs. The result indicates that changing the pH value of ink will affect the viscosity of ink. The pH value can influent the release of the resin in the ink to the solvent, so the dryness of ink was also influenced. The pH value of water-based ink has a certain influence to the glossiness of the proofs.

Based on the comprehensive summary of latest research achievements of Laser and EDM technologies in home and abroad, the other advanced machining technologies is summarized briefly, such as Ultrasonic Wave, Microwave machining techniques and their composite machining technologies, as well as High-speed (Super High-speed) Grinding, ELID Grinding and Interface Thermal Chemistry Reaction Aided Machining technologies developed on the basis of traditional grinding technology. At last, it is forecasted that the necessary direction of advanced technologies used for ceramics is combinatorial machining technologies of two or more kinds of advanced technologies.

The water-based gravure ink contains no volatile organic solvents and makes little environmental pollution, so it will be used widely as one promising environment-protecting ink. The dryness of water-based ink is always one hard point, because the printing carrier plastic hasn’t absorbability. To improve the dryness speed, the use of shallow version reducing the transfer is a common way. In order to reach the quality requirements of the graver press, the ink with high pigment is necessary. In this text getting printable ink samples, the primary ink that is dispersed by high-speed grinding is maxed with good- compatible water-based resin, co-solvent and auxiliary in proportion. Then getting the proof of the ink using IGT F1, the viscosity, size distribution, color density were tested . The influence of pigment/binder ratio to the viscosity, dispersibility and adherence of the ink were discussed. The result indicates that with the pigment/binder ratio promoting, the viscosity of the primary ink is decreasing. The dispersibility of primary ink is influenced by the pigment/binder ratio, when the pigment/binder is 2:1 ,the size of ink is the smallest. The pigment/binder ratio in primary ink has a certain influence to the adherence and the apparent performances of the ink. And the color density and the gloss of the proof are also influenced.

AbstractTwo special cases of dart leader propagation were observed by the high-speed camera in the leader/return stroke sequences of a classical triggered lightning flash and an altitude-triggered lightning flash, respectively. Different from most of the subsequent return strokes preceded by only one leader, the return stroke in each case was preceded by two leaders occurring successively and competing in the same channel, which herein is named leader-chasing behavior. In one case, the polarity of the latter leader was opposite to that of the former leader and these two combined together to form a new leader, which shared the same polarity with the former leader. In the other case, the latter leader shared the same polarity with the former leader and disappeared after catching up with the former leader. The propagation of the former leader in this case seems not to be significantly influenced by the existence of the latter leader.

Single-grain grinding test plays an important part in studying the high speed grinding mechanism of materials. In this paper, a new method and experiment system for high speed grinding test with single CBN grain are presented. In order to study the high speed grinding mechanism of TC4 alloy, the chips and grooves were obtained under different wheel speed and corresponding maximum undeformed chip thickness. Results showed that the effects of wheel speed and chip thickness on chip formation become obvious. The chips were characterized by crack and segment band feature like the cutting segmented chips of titanium alloy Ti6Al4V.
