Abstract Transient load has a huge impact on the life and stability of water-lubricated bearings. In this paper work, CFD software is used to analyse the dynamic characteristic of water lubricated bearings under different transient loads of 500N, 1000N, 2000N and 3000N. The water film pressure contour distribution at different transient time was given. The time-varying relationships between the different transient loads with bearing forces, the journal displacement, the maximum value of water film pressure as well as the minimum value of water film thickness are obtained. The results show that with the increase of transient load, the effective bearing area of dynamic water pressure film decreases, and the maximum pressure increases. The bearing forces, the journal displacement, the maximum value of water film pressure as well as the minimum value of water film thickness will increase fast.

Acidic wastewater treatment for the TNT factory which located in the middle of the mountains is characterized by part of its nature with alkaline properties, which prompted the researcher to take advantage of it in the treatment of acidic water instead of caustic soda. Acidic waste water is originated from spent acid treatment building, nitration, purification building, drying and packing building in TNT factory. The objective of this study is to use treated Acidic water TNT Factory by rock granules. Acidic waste water is mixed together with rock granules lye after crushed process of these rocks. The results the pH value of water after neutralizing reaction showed a significant rise in pH from 1.20 to 7. 00. This is within the SSMO. These data included reduction in BOD from 30.00 to 7.00 mg/l which is also within the range of SSMO. The COD value of the acidic wastewater which is 65.00 mg/l to 11 mg/l which is also within the range of SSMO. The use of rock granules for treatment will save an amount 9.45kg/t of  caustic soda per ton of product TNT product.

The Changes Of Water Storage Capacity In Tarakan City Of North KalimantanAbstract. The value of water storage capacity determines the amount of water available in the soil to support agricultural activities, especially in Tarakan City area. The plants will experience growth disorders and decrease their productivity if they captivate lack of water. This study aimed at analyzing the changes in water storage capacity based on water balance and the changes in land use in Tarakan City area for the period 2005-2020. The procedure of this study consisted of several stages, namely land-use change analysis, water balance analysis, and water storage capacity analysis. The results of data analysis showed that the surplus-value increased by 44.26 mm and the water runoff enlarged by 59.47 mm. However, the groundwater recharging value decreased by 15.21 mm. The value of water storage capacity in Tarakan City area during the period 2005-2020 showed a decrease of 7.57 mm, namely 130.35 mm in 2005 and 122.78 mm in 2020.

Water resources is one of the important drivers of socio-economic development, but the value of water resources in society is not clear. In order to accurately describe the impact of water resources on socio-economic value, a socio-economic value evaluation index system for water resources is established. This paper is based on the theory of utility value of water resources. Discussed how to use fuzzy mathematics and benefit sharing coefficient method to calculate the socio-economic value of water resources in different industries. Take the Golog Zang A.P in the source region of the Yellow River as an example. Calculated the socio-economic value of water resources for residential life, irrigation planting, industry, construction and tertiary industry. Finally, analysis results show that the value of comprehensive water resources in the study area is between 9.4-40CNY, tertiary industry highest, lowest value for domestic water. The calculation results provide a reference for the rational and efficient use of regional water resources and the scientific formulation of water resources policies.

The disaster that hit Palu City recently caused changes in the quality of water consumed by the community. To find out whether it is feasible or not, a method is needed to detect a water quality system that is easy to apply at an economical price so that people can know for sure the quality of the water they use for their daily needs. Therefore, a tool is designed to determine the quality of water, which samples are taken around the coast of Tondo by using the Fuzzy Logic method. This design was built using the Arduino module by combining four sensors, namely a pH sensor, a TDS sensor, a Turbidity sensor, and a temperature sensor. Water quality in this study was divided into three groups, namely drinking water (UM), water for washing (UC), and water not suitable for use (TL). While the water quality benchmarks are known from the incorporation of existing sensor readings, so that the value of water quality measured in the study is in the unsuitable category with a fuzzy value of 100 in sample 1, and to use washing with a fuzzy value of 45.68 in sample 2, and 26.4 in sample 3.

Abstract Low-impact development (LID) facilities can not only effectively control rainwater runoff and its pollution, but also enhance the value of urban water resources in water systems. Current studies usually pay more attention to the effect of pollution control indicators, and there are few reports on the evaluation of LID facilities from the perspective of enhancing the value of water resources. Taking the Maluan Bay area of Haicang, Xiamen as an example, an evaluation model of water resource value was established based on the SWMM software and the pollution loss model. From the perspective of economic quantification, the value of water resources brought by three types of LID facilities, such as green roofs, permeable pavement and infiltration gallery, under rainfall conditions in different recurrence intervals was simulated and calculated. In the single rainfall event of 1–10a recurrence interval, the water resource value brought by the green roofs is 679.14–787.49 RMB/hm2, the permeable pavement is 79.07–383.37 RMB/hm2 and the infiltration gallery is 825.45–1,021.79 RMB/hm2. The results show that the value of water resources brought by the three types of LID facilities decreases with the increase of rainfall recurrence interval.

The prediction of water requirement is important in planning and managing irrigation system. Based on this case, this study aims to evaluate water requirement of irrigation to obtain the prediction of maximum value of water requirement. The research took place in Irrigation Area of Ampiang Parak at Pesisir Selatan Regency with the area was 2,363 hectares. The descriptive qualitative analysis approach was used to collect the data by using observation, interview and taking of primer and secondary data. The tabulation of data used Cropwat version 8.0 software to analyze water requirement values. The result of this research the calculation of water requirement values using Cropwat version 8.0 software are 4.772 m3/sec in MT 1, 4.770 m3/sec in MT 2, and 5.05 m3/sec in MT 3. The data shows that irrigation area may not have dryness. However, there is some area that is rainfed. Based on observation at Irrigation Area of Amping Parak there are leaking lines, and there are area irrigations that have not connected according to irrigation area of Amping Parak scheme.
