Air conditioning is widely used nowadays. It brings comfortable life to us while gives some problems. Regional shortage of power supply has a great deal to do with the extensive use of air conditioner for long time. Against the background of low carbon economy, this paper choose 3 room types of 4 typical cities which have different habitable area and carry out a financial analysis of 4 types of air conditioning system(northern city has 5 types). So we’ll have a comprehensive and intuitive understand of economy of typical air conditioning system. It could help the selection of air conditioning system of different area and make good use of energy.

the development of low carbon building is not only the requirement of current economic transition,it is also the realistic choice to implement Scientific Development Concept and to build "two type society". This paper briefly describes the connotation of low carbon buildings , and then illustrates the low-carbon economy background, the necessity of low carbon building development, and finally put forward the corresponding path selection.

In recent years, the world has been committed to the development of environmental industries and sustainable resources, and continues to implement the strategic idea of the scientific concept of development to prevent environmental pollution and resource waste. However, the nation seems to be accustomed to the use of disposable items such as toothbrushes, toothpaste and slippers in hotels. With the rapid development of the hotel industry, a large number of disposable items have been used in the hotel industry for a long time, which has brought great pressure to the environment and does not meet the requirements of the concept of low-carbon economy and green development. Through the investigation and analysis of the use of disposable products in hotels, this paper explores the solution and feasibility of banning disposable products in hotels, aiming to contribute to the low carbon economy and low carbon consumption.

Purpose of work is a compilation of data about the microflora which colonizes a split-system, with the aim of selection of sanitary-indicative microorganisms, whose presence in the sample would indicate to the need for cleaning and disinfection of split-systems. Materials and methods. In the article there were used data of five years author’s scientific inquiry, related to the prevention of respiratory diseases, associated with the usage of a local air conditioning systems. We also use the data from the literature. Results. For selection of “indicative” microorganisms, we proposed the usage of nine criteria, each of them have numeric value from 0 to 3 points (risk for health, prevalence rate of the disease, epidemiological link, speed of split system’s colonization, difficulty of cultivation, resistance in the environment, resistance to disinfectants, frequency of detection in home air conditioning systems, frequency of detection in air conditioning systems of public buildings). After the calculation Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Staphylococcus aureus received maximal score (20 points). Therefore, these two types of bacteria are indicative microorganisms. The detection of these microorganisms in split systems will indicate to the contamination of air-conditioning system. This microflora also is a criterion of cleaning and disinfection quality - presence of these microorganisms in the samples after this process will mean that the processing of air conditioning systems was performed poorly. Conclusions. Split systems are very faster colonized by conditionally pathogenic and pathogenic microflora. To prevent the possible hazard for population’s health it is necessary to develop the normative base, according to which sanitary-and-hygienic control over the split-systems working must be carried out. Proposed criteria suggest that Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Staphylococcus aureus are indicative microorganisms, and it’s identification in the air-conditioning system would mean risk for health and necessity for cleaning and disinfection.

As coal, oil, natural gas and other non-renewable energy consumption and increasing energy demand, the utilization of solar energy as a new energy is greatly enhanced. In this work, a grid connected photovoltaic solar air conditioning system is designed, mainly comprised of solar panel, controller, inverter, room air conditioner and other parts. Air conditioning systems rely mainly on solar photovoltaic power; achieve the effect of energy conservation and environmental protection. The experimental result indicates that the system can achieve stable operation and the utilization of solar energy driving air conditioning system to save electricity. This air conditioning system is compared with the ordinary air conditioning system, SEER can increase 10.6 ~ 29.4%, HSPF can increase 6.25 ~ 18.5%.

Thermoelectric devices use the Peltier effect which creates a heat flux between the junctions of two different types of materials. The thermoelectric module also referred to as a heat pump transfers heat from one side to the other when a DC current is applied. This study carried out the theoretical and experimental analysis of a thermoelectric air conditioning system. A prototype thermoelectric air conditioner of 286 W cooling capacity was built and a testing enclosure made from plywood and Styrofoam was also constructed in order to validate the theoretical result with an experimentation. It was discovered that thermoelectric air conditioning took 4 minutes to reach its desired temperature of 22℃ whereas the standard air conditioning system (Refrigeration Cycle) took 20 minutes to cool to a room temperature. Economically it was also discovered that thermoelectric air conditioning system is 50% cheaper than the refrigeration cycle air conditioning systems. The thermoelectric air conditioner has cheaper maintenance and greater estimated life span of 7 years more than the refrigeration air conditioner. This is because the air conditioner that operates on the refrigeration cycle uses a rotating compressor while the thermoelectric air conditioner uses thermometric module.

Centralized air conditioning systems are widely used in buildings at present. In these conditioners, the outside air gets required temperature, humidity, purity, and other features, necessary for creating comfort microclimate in inside areas of houses, and by the help of fans and air ducts the processed air moves to all rooms of a building. As a result, the creation and maintenance of comfort conditions in buildings become complicated and expensive activity. From this point of view, it is becoming more expedient to install local air conditioners in each room instead of single central one for the whole building. For this reason new local air conditioner is developed.

In mine air conditioning systems, the vapour compression refrigeration cycle seems to be currently the most widespread method of artificial cooling. In literature some other methods for cooling a mine are also presented, like using free-cooling in refrigeration systems. Mine workings in Jiu Valley are using the primary and secondary ventilation system for cooling the underground. Today the activities are focused mainly on mine closure as a part of transition to the low carbon economy, and this situation brings new challenges regarding the mine ventilation system, which was designed to meet the needs of a full-scale operation. As a result, locally ambient temperatures can rise, and spot cooling systems can be used, in order to cool the air. Such a system has been considered and calculations have been made to evaluate its thermal efficiency at different ambient temperatures.

Air conditioning systems were invented to improve human comfort in a room or hall. An efficient air conditioner systems are always needed to minimize the power consumption. There are several settings with lot of control devices were introduced in the past years to achieve minimal energy consumption rate. Those control systems were minimized the energy consumption to certain limit without considering human comfort. The proposed model is designed to minimize the energy consumption with maximum human comfort. Several sensor modules were introduced in the model to predict human comfort level in a room or hall. The sensor data are taken as feedback to the air conditioning system for attaining maximum human comfort level. The proposed design is verified with energy consumption calculation and change in room temperature measurements.
