According to the current national conditions and the intelligent communities’ requirements on the electric energy metering system based on the broadband power line communication (PLC), this paper introduces a design program for achieving the remote meter reading through the broadband PLC technology. The system takes the high-performance single chip microcomputer and the Ethernet controller RTL8019AS as the core, the low-voltage power line as the medium of data communication, and makes the electronic meters access to the Ethernet via the broadband power line, thereby achieving the remote automatic meter reading. The multi-functional low-voltage power line remote meter reading system constituted by this system and the backstage management system together will have broad application prospects. In addition, this paper also makes a preliminary study on the reliability of the meter reading system.

This paper introduces ultrasonic ranging system which can be applied to avoid obstacle and navigate for mobile robot .This system is composed of AT89S51 single chip microcomputer ,ultrasonic transmitting circuit, ultrasonic receiving circuit, amplifying and filtering circuit , peak value time detecting circuit, environment temperature compensation circuit. The method of echo peak time detection point is used to eliminate the error. It is proved that The maximum range of the system is 10 meter and maximum measurement error can be controlled to± 2 cm or so. This system has such merits as rapid corresponding, high precision, high performance price rate.

The article analyze current situation of the electric meter reading system, and given circuit of the remote automatic meter reading based on single-chip system model, and introduced in detail the key part of data acquisition, data concentrator and the monitoring center software, hardware implementation. The wiring complexity of the project has been reduced by using the technology of RS485 communication for data transmission, which has been improved the reliability of data communication system, and reduced power consumption. The results show that the terminal is normal and reliable.

Communication over the power line network (PLN) referred as power line communication (PLC) has a long history of narrowband applications. With the recent developments in the field of digital communications, current interest is to exploit this medium for wideband communications for several applications such as Internet access, home networking, and in-vehicle data communication. In line with this recently emerging interest which envisions the conversion of a power transmission network into a communication network, understanding the root-mean-squared (RMS) delay spread is essential for multipath PLC channels for the establishment of reliable communication systems. In this paper, factors that play a role on the RMS delay spread value of low voltage (LV) PLC channels are articulated. Among these factors, dependency of the RMS delay spread on attenuation, loading, and physical characteristics of the communication channel in the PLNs is investigated.

With the deepened transformation of China's power system, the stability and reliability of power utilization have been dramatically improved, but meter reading data acquisition does not keep pace with the times. With the continuous maturity of low-voltage power line communication (PLC), this leads us to see hopes of using PLC technology to realize remote meter reading. In this paper, based on current PLC technology and combining domestic and foreign successful cases, a beneficial exploration and research is conducted from the composition and establishment of software and the design of software and protocol.

A novel low-voltage low-power CMOS voltage reference independent of temperature is presented in this design. After considering the combined effect of (1) a perfect suppression of the temperature dependence of mobility; (2) the compensation of the channel length modulation effect on the temperature coefficient, a temperature coefficient of 10 ppm/[Formula: see text]C is achieved. Moreover, by adopting the subthreshold MOSFETs, there are no resistors used in the proposed structure. Therefore, the maximum supply current measured at the maximum supply voltage is 70 nA and at 80[Formula: see text]C. The circuit can be used as a voltage reference for high performance and low power dissipation on a single chip.

This article describes the street lamp of the daily life ,which brings the long lines of the low voltage transmission and the high cost of the construction and so on. In view of these problems, the Wind-light Complementary Street Lamp is designed. According to the complementary street lamp system’s composition and working principle, and the analysis of wind power, solar energy power generation and the control strategy of battery charging, thus chooses the Single-chip microcomputer as the controller of it, as to fulfills the efficient and reasonable power generation goal.

Tunnel roof separation monitoring is an important research content of tunnel supporting technology, it is of great significance to guarantee the safety of mine production. The traditional detection methods of roof separation have disadvantages of low precision, poor reliability, high cost, and the comprehensive analysis of measurement results is difficult. In the paper, a roof separation monitoring device based on STC12C5A is proposed. It has the core of STC12C5A single-chip microcomputer, and realizes the accurate measurement of displacement by using the fine drag-rope displacement sensor, and realizes the data communication and sharing by using bus interface. The device can achieve real-time, reliable monitoring of roof separation condition and also can make pre-caution to the possible production accident.
