Testing standards of electrostatic property of industrial textile were analyzed via comparing the principles and apparatuses, as well as their advantages and disadvantages. And the correlation study on different standards showed that testing results of different materials according to the same method had similar change trend, but no evidence proved a definite linear relationship of three test methods.

TAPPI test T811 is the specified method to ascertain ECT relative to box manufacturer’s certification compliance of corrugated fiberboard under Rule 41/ Alternate Item 222. T811 test sample heights were derived from typical board constructions at the time of the test method’s initial development. New, smaller flute sizes have since been developed, and the use of lighter weight boards has become more common. The T811 test method includes sample specifications for typical A-flute, B-flute, and C-flute singlewall (and doublewall and triplewall) structures, but not for newer thinner E-flute or F-flute structures. This research explores the relationship of ECT sample height to measured compressive load, in an effort to determine valid E-flute and F-flute ECT sample heights for use with the T811 method. Through this process, it identifies challenges present in our use of current ECT test methods as a measure of intrinsic compressive strength for smaller flute structures. The data does not support the use of TAPPI T 811 for ECT measurement for E and F flute structures, and demonstrates inconsistencies with current height specifi-cations for some lightweight B flute.

The optical quartz glass is widely applied in optical system , photo communications, inertial navigation, etc. It must have high optical homogeneity. Optical homogeneity of the optical quartz glass directly affects the wavefront quality of the optical transmission system, and changes the wavefront aberration of the system. How to accurately determine the optical homogeneity of the quartz glass is especially important. Currently, the method of test for optical homogeneity mainly used by interference principle. This paper analyzes various existing interference measurement method and test equipment. Summarized the advantages and disadvantages of various test methods, using range and measurement accuracy.

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of the trust of co-workers and proactive personalities on career satisfaction by exchanging leader-members as mediation on employees of bus assembly companies in the city of Semarang. Career satisfaction is the phase in which employees’ long-term career needs are aligned with what they get while working. Employees will always look for opportunities and trust in the organization and people who will help them in achieving career satisfaction. The sampling method uses a purposive sampling technique in the category of staff and foreman employees who have worked for more than five years with a sample of 160 employees. The analytical data in this study uses descriptive statistical test methods, instinctual tests include validity and reliability, and hypothesis testing. The tool used to test in this study uses SmartPLS 3.0. The results of this study, colleague trust cannot directly influence career satisfaction. However, it can be mediated by the exchange of leader members and produce significant influence. For further researchers, they can re-examine the relationship of coworkers’ trust with career satisfaction. And can expand the object of research or respondents under study.

Introduction. Detection, isolation, selection and localization of variously shaped objects in images are essential in a variety of applications. Computer vision systems utilizing television and infrared cameras, synthetic aperture surveillance radars as well as laser and acoustic remote sensing systems are prominent examples. Such problems as object identification, tracking and matching as well as combining information from images available from different sources are essential. Objective. Design of image segmentation and object selection methods based on multi-threshold processing. Materials and methods. The segmentation methods are classified according to the objects they deal with, including (i) pixel-level threshold estimation and clustering methods, (ii) boundary detection methods, (iii) regional level, and (iv) other classifiers, including many non-parametric methods, such as machine learning, neural networks, fuzzy sets, etc. The keynote feature of the proposed approach is that the choice of the optimal threshold for the image segmentation among a variety of test methods is carried out using a posteriori information about the selection results. Results. The results of the proposed approach is compared against the results obtained using the well-known binary integration method. The comparison is carried out both using simulated objects with known shapes with additive synthesized noise as well as using observational remote sensing imagery. Conclusion. The article discusses the advantages and disadvantages of the proposed approach for the selection of objects in images, and provides recommendations for their use.

The aim of this study is the deduction of an analytic representation of the optimal irrigation flow depending on the border length, hydrodynamic properties, and soil moisture constants, with high values of the coefficient of uniformity. In order not to be limited to the simplified models, the linear relationship of the numerical simulation with the hydrodynamic model, formed by the coupled equations of Barré de Saint-Venant and Richards, was established. Sample records for 10 soil types of contrasting texture were used and were applied to three water depths. On the other hand, the analytical representation of the linear relationship using the Parlange theory of infiltration proposed for integrating the differential equation of one-dimensional vertical infiltration was established. The obtained formula for calculating the optimal unitary discharge is a function of the border strip length, the net depth, the characteristic infiltration parameters (capillary forces, sorptivity, and gravitational forces), the saturated hydraulic conductivity, and a shape parameter of the hydrodynamic characteristics. The good accordance between the numerical and analytical results allows us to recommend the formula for the design of gravity irrigation.
