Subway engineering is a long range program. Metro structure waterproof is a major technology to ensure the durability of structure. With the experience accumulation and technical maturity of our country's subway construction, waterproof technology is developing fast. The design concept and material of underground waterproof stay updated. According to the Shenyang subway metro construction experience, this article do a research on the on the cold regions based on the geological conditions and climate characteristics. Focusing on the subarea waterproof and natural sodium bentonite soil waterproof blanket are described, this article make a detail analysis on the proof about the design concept, waterproofing system, material selection, construction technology and other aspects. The content of this article has been in the works in practical application, which can provides reference for other similar project .

The phenomenon of railway and road tunnel passing through the debris flow gully is more and more prevalent, for the rapid development of the construction of railways and highways. At present, the construction experience of tunnels passing through the debris flow gully is not rich enough, so the study on this part is necessary. The engineering geological conditions of Cangyuan Tunnel are complex and the construction of which is difficult. The three-step seven-step method, tunnel surface grouting and tunnel root piles reinforcement basis are used to ensure the stability of the tunnel surrounding rock, based on the characteristics of Cangyuan Tunnel which passes through the debris flow gully. The deformation is controlled within the specification range, which indicates that the construction effect of Cangyuan Tunnel is good. These construction measures solve the construction problems of tunnels which pass through the debris flow gully and ensure project quality and duration, therefore, these construction measures can be used in similar projects.

However, due to the current construction of the subway project construction technology management, there are still some lack of mature technology problems, which makes the subway construction technology in complex geological conditions in the management of the application process, there are still a variety of problems, including construction safety and construction quality, and thus also seriously affect the social stability and development. This paper analyzes and discusses the main points of subway construction technology under complex geological conditions.

This paper analyzes the common faults of the YMZ light silt coal car loader's hoisting device in working process, and supplies several solutions; Simultaneously, it mainly introduces two types of manufacturing technique about hoisting device's parts design and improvement in practical application and appraises the effect of the green design and manufacturing technique in the working device; The article concludes that improved workpiece performance is of great practical value; As the designers are designing the products, only when they should combine the new design concept and the mode of thinking with the green design concept, and attach importance to the innovation of science and technology during the designing process as well, and finally bring into play the advantages of the technology, can they produce safe, powerfrugal, efficient and shapely green products which are popular with people at home and abroad.

In recent years, the demand of Large LNG storage tank increases over time, but large LNG cryogenic storage tank has not yet established a series of standards and norms, and tank construction technology is also lagging behind. Aiming at the design of the tank form a single, smaller, did not tackle the issue of, this paper mainly discusses from Large LNG tanks, such as type, material selection, structure ,size optimization and so on, which can provide reference for independent construction of storage tank.

RADON enterprises are historically responsible in Russia for institutional waste of low and intermediate activity level. MosNPO RADON is a leading organization for 16 enterprises of RADON system, established in the early 60-s, only 14 from which are now in operation and have about 10% of their repositories available for upcoming waste. Construction of new repositories and selection of new perspective sites is very actual problem for RAW management in Russia now. Traditionally near surface repositories are considered to be acceptable for storage or even disposal of low and intermediate level waste (LILW), which decay to safe level in some hundreds of years. Forty years experience in LILW isolation using near surface repositories at Russian RADON facilities has shown that a lot of operational and natural factors impact on the engineered barriers and may cause failure of the isolation (freezing-thawing cycles, construction works). In addition construction of new old-type repositories requires more area. Since 1997 development and testing of Large Diameter Wells (LDW) as a new type of repositories for low and intermediate level waste is carried out at Zagorsk site. MosNPO RADON specialists developed the LDW construction technology with the aim to use such wells for LILW isolation in moraine clays. The diameter of LDW-type repository may range from 1 to 5 m depending on drilling rig capabilities and performance parameters of host rock. The depth of well (repository) depends on geological parameters and hydro-geological conditions at the site. These features affect on the siting process by additional geological and hydro-geological requirements. In result of preliminary studying of Central Russia two regions were found to be perspective for construction of LDW-type repositories.

Dongjiang Lichuan Bridge in Dongguan City is a curved tower curved beam cable-stayed bridge with a main span of 138m and no back cable. The main pier cap is located on the bank slope of Dongguan Waterway on one side of Nandi Road. The cushion cap is dumbbell type, and the left and right cushion caps are connected by tie beams. In most areas, the top of rock stratum is above the bottom of bearing platform. The rock stratum within the buried depth of bearing platform is moderately to strongly weathered argillaceous siltstone. The geological conditions are complex and the construction is difficult. In line with the principles of speeding up the construction process and improving economic benefits, comprehensive analysis and weighing advantages and disadvantages, the main pier cap adopts a composite cofferdam of filling soil to build an island and combining bored pile rows and steel sheet piles. The construction task of bearing platform of main pier has been completed with high quality. Compared with other cushion cap construction methods, this construction method has the advantages of fast construction, high quality, simple safety, energy saving and environmental protection. This paper briefly introduces the design scheme of composite cofferdam, expounds in detail the operation steps of steel sheet pile construction and the problems needing attention in construction, and provides good reference experience for similar pile cap construction.

Large energy consumption, serious pollution and poor quality of indoor thermal environment are generally seen during construction in villages and towns in China nowadays, leading to poor building insulation performance. Envolope of enclosure of a buidling is key to its insulation performance. Material selection of building enclosures and green design of construction technology are the key to promoting insulation performance of the building as villages and towns in cold region are subject to special geographical position, climate conditions and economic factors. With a focus on research of traditional non-wood fibrous material modification with existing technology and the engineering practice in non-wood fibre roof in villages and towns of cold region, this paper came up with the prospects of its applicatin in the following design strategies including “ecological and conservation-oriented roofing with modified local materials, new hybrid roofing with simplified construction technology and paper tensioning roofing with innovative synthetic materials”.

The poorly motivated arithmetic student reacts, not to the long-range value of a given quantity of arithmetical knowledge, but to the immediate use to which it can be put. In the final accounting, the value of this knowledge is determined by the student, not by the teacher. To help the student develop this sense of value we attempt to increase the meaningfulness of arithmetic by providing activities to demonstrate its practical application in everyday situations. Such an approach is usually successful in reaching the majority of these students. But not all will respond to this form of motivation. To some slow learners in the classroom these activities are only briefly amusing, and as a result the pupils are unable to become more than momentary participants in the learning situation.
