The 3D interaction design solution and implementation with VTK and QT were proposed in the system of virtual spinal fixation surgery. After discussing the background of 3D interaction technology, the principles of the interaction design about 3D interaction used in the system was given. According to the requirement of the system, the observer pattern and command pattern were adopted. And then 3D interactive design based on 3D Widgets was given in detail, the implementation view was shown. Finally, some implementation interface and five kinds of widgets design were displayed.

This paper proposed the solution of haptic feedback interaction, which can be used for 3D interaction in Virtual Spinal Fixation Surgery System. We frist introduced the traditional Proxy-based Volume Haptics solution, and then proposed the Haptic feedback primitive based on it. There are four Haptic feedback primitive: point, line, plane and direct force. The haptic feedback system developing model is composed by Haptic Rendering and Graphics Rendering. The paper designed interface and classes based on this model, and then implemented the haptic feedback system at last. With this system, we can feel the load carring condition, speed up the virtual operation and provide data analysis more accurately.

In this paper, a practical development program of College English Online Courseware on the basis of the method of goal-directed interaction design is presented. The program basically tackles problems such as tedious interface and poor interaction which most current English online courseware have and improves the interactive experience and accessibility of the English online courseware. Meanwhile, the online courseware designed by using this method enriches the approaches of learning English for college and university students, who are main group of users. Therefore, their levels of English can be enhanced to a large extent by the assistance of the online courseware.

In the current appendix are presented the results of a heuristic study about the lack of educational control related to the new technologies and the future generations, especially children. A set of examples make known the real factors which increase the digital divide among the European population of 2020. Finally, a heuristic equation is presented to detect quickly and easily the professionals who currently tend to be misleading in their interactive design for children.

Aiming at the problem of the sensory function decline in the elderly, the research intends to improve the optimal aging of bus stops by sensory enhancement interaction design. Though observing the behavior of the elderly and combining the user’s journey map and the KANO model to explore the elderly’s waiting needs at the bus station, it is concluded that the use of visual amplification, voice prompts, handrail dependence and other aspects of sensory enhancement can well improve the interactive design of bus station suitable for the elderly with weak senses, solve the problem of poor information interaction between the elderly and the bus station, and provide ideas for the aging intelligent bus system in the future.

Few production virtual environment (VE) applications involve complex three-dimensional (3D) interaction. Our long-term collaboration with architects and engineers in designing 3D user interfaces (3D UIs) has revealed some of the causes: existing interaction tasks and/or techniques are either too generic when isolated from the application context, or too specific to be reusable. We propose a new design approach called domain-specific design (DSD) that sits between the generic and specific design approaches, with an emphasis on using domain knowledge in 3D interaction techniques. We also describe an interaction design framework encompassing generic, domain-specific, and application-specific interaction tasks and techniques. This framework can be used by designers to think of ways to produce domain-specific interaction techniques. We present a particular DSD method, and demonstrate its use for the design of cloning techniques in a structural engineering application. Results from empirical studies demonstrate that interaction techniques produced with domain knowledge in mind outperformed other techniques by improving task efficiency, work flow, and usefulness of the 3D UI.

In this paper, we mainly explore how to design and implement the user interfaces of Electricity Operation Information System based on Android. The paper extends its process as the following four aspects---requirements analysis, UI design, interaction design and programmatic implementation. In response to user actions fluidly and friendly, we add modules to handle exceptions. In the end, we give a briefly test on the system UI to ensure it run smoothly and make less mistakes. There are limited studies focusing on the flow design of UI combined with programmatic implementation. The UI design and implementation methodology has good reference at the early stage of developing an application, especially on Android platforms.

With the development of the economic society, people gradually begin to pay more attention to the pursuit of product design compared to the product appearance and function. Thus, the present interactive design gets more and more attention in the product design. Choosing the daily product as the carrier, this paper mainly concludes and summarizes the interactive manner of the modern product design from the three aspects of the peoples feeling, behavior and affection in order to implement the interaction design methods research in the product design.

This paper proposed the solution of visualization technology in virtual spinal fixation surgery system, which implemented the 2D image display and 3D bone tissue refactoring. It is designed based on Visualization Toolkit and implemented by the improved RayCasting volume rendering algorithm. First, design the uniform interface for 2D and 3D visualization, and then give 2D slicing visualization pipeline and spine 3D refactoring pipeline. In spine 3D refactoring, the system dynamically chose appropriate rendering algorithm to satisfy the real-time requirement of the system interaction based on GPU or CPU computer hardware environment. Meanwhile, provide visualization windows with visualization pipeline adjustment panel to adjust visualization effect conviniently. By 2D slicing data visualization we can transform CT value into 2D grayscale image and display it. The refactoring algorithm of 3D bone tissue refactors CT visualization data into 3D bone model. By defining the resampling coordinates in 3D refactoring window, the system provides re-slicing of axial section view, sagittal section view and coronary section view.
