The PANI-PVA composite conductive coatings adopt PVA as the base material together with the doping of hydrochloride (HCl), dodecylbenzenesulfonic acid (DBSA), the aminosulfonic acid (NH2SO3H ) aqueous solution were prepared. The influences of PVA content, acid content, oxidant content, reaction time and drying temperature of film on the conductivity of coating film were studied. The result shows that the conductivity of HCl-PANI-PVA coating film is the highest among them in case the PVA content is 40% and the drying temperature of film is 80°C. The maximum conductivity of HCl-PANI-PVA coating film is 15.0S/cm in case the C(HC1)=0.5mol/L, the reaction time is 6 hours and the n(APS/An)=1.0; the maximum conductivity of DBSA-PANI-PVA coating film is 7.1S/cm in case the C(DBSA)=1.0mol/L, the reaction time is 8 hours and the n(APS/An)=2.0; the maximum conductivity of NH2SO3H-PANI-PVA coating film is 2.0 S/cm in case the C(NH2SO3H)=1.0mol/L, the reaction time is 6 hours and the n(APS/An)=2.0.

  The article is devoted to the study of the chemical composition, physical and thermal-pfysical characteristics of damp apple pomaces and the identifying patterns of influence of drying temperature the functional composition and gel-forming ability of pectin. The research is aimed at obtaining initial data for the subsequent calculation of the main technological, hydro-mechanical, thermal, structural and economic characteristics of devices for drying the plant raw materials, ensuring the environmental safety and high quality of pectin-containing raw materials, the reducing heat and energy costs. As a result of the study of the thermal characteristics of apple pomaces, the critical points (temperature conductivity – 16.5 x 10-8 m2/s, thermal conductivity – 0.28 W/m K, heat capacity – 1627 j/(kg K)) at a humidity of 56 % are determined, which characterizing the transition from the extraction of weakly bound moisture to the extraction of moisture with strong bonds (colloidal, adsorption). It was found that the pomaces obtained from apples of late ripening have a higher content of solids (21-23 %), soluble pectin and protopectin (2.5-4.5 %). Dried pomaces obtained from apple varieties of late ripening contain up to 25 % pectin, which allow us to recommend them as a source of raw materials for the production of pectin. The optimum modes of preliminary washing of raw materials are offered, allowing to the remove the ballast substances as much as possible. It is established that when the drying temperature increases, the destructive processes are catalyzed: the strength of the pectin jelly and the uronide component and the degree of pectin esterification are reduced. The optimum drying temperature of damp apple pomaces is 80 0C, at which the quality of pectin extracted from the dried raw materials is maintained as much as possible. It is shown that the most effective for the pectin production is a fraction with a particle size of 3-5 mm, which allow us to extract up to 71 % of pectin from raw materials.

Mango varieties Bengkulu is one of high yielding varieties from Bengkulu Province. The plants grow well and produce fruits almost year-around in all regions in the province of Bengkulu. Mango varieties Bengkulu have very large fruit, thick fruit flesh and slightly sour flavors. It makes Mango varieties Bengkulu is very suitable to be consumed in the form of a processed. Fruit leather is one form of processed fruit. Fruit leather is a thin sheet of fruit in dried form. The results showed that the best processing techniques of fruit leather for mango varieties Bengkulu is the process with addition of sugar by 20% and drying temperature at 60 ?C. The treatment produce fruit leather with the best physical appearance and flavor compared with the other treatments.

Background: At present, there were numerous researches on the migration of components in tablets and granules, the investigation in the pharmaceutical literatrue concerning the effect of drying rate on the migration of water-soluble components of pellets was limited. Temperature and relative humidity (RH) were crucial parameters during the drying process which was an essential step in the preparation of pellets via wet extrusion/spheronization. To quantify these variables, the water loss percentage of pellets per minute was defined as drying rate. Objective: The study aimed to investigate the influence of drying rate on the migration of water-soluble components in wet pellets and the potential migrated mechanism. Methods: The pellets containing tartrazine as a water-soluble model drug and microcrystalline cellulose as a matrix former were prepared by extrusion/spheronization and dried at four different drying temperature and relative humidity. Afterward, the extent of migrated tartrazine was assessed regarding appearance, in-vitro dissolution test, Differential Scanning Calorimetry, X-Ray Powder Diffraction, Attenuated total reflectance Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and Confocal Raman Mapping. Results: Results demonstrated that red spots of tartrazine appeared on the surface of pellets and more than 40% tartrazine were burst released within 5 minutes when pellets dried at 60℃/RH 10%. While pellets dried at 40℃/RH 80%, none of these aforementioned phenomena was observed. Conclusion: In conclusion, the faster drying rate was, the more tartrazine migrated to the exterior of pellets. Adjusting drying temperature and relative humidity appropriately could inhibit the migration of water-soluble components within wet extrusion/spheronization pellets.

Abstract Fish oil was encapsulated with whey protein isolate (WPI) as wall material using a Micro-Fluidic Jet Spray Dryer. The effects of core/wall material ratio, drying temperature and total solids content on the properties of microcapsules were studied. Low core/wall material ratios at 1:5 and 1:3 resulted in high encapsulation efficiency (EE) and excellent oxidative stability of microparticles during storage. Reducing the inlet temperature from 160 to 110 °C remarkably decreased EE from around 99 to 64.8%, associated with substantial increases in peroxide value during storage. The total solids content mainly altered the morphology of microcapsules, showing little influence on EE and oxidative stability. We proposed that the different drying conditions impacted on particle formation behavior during spray drying, which could be a crucial factor responsible for the differences in the quality attributes of microparticles. A low core/wall material ratio and high drying temperature facilitated the formation of a rigid protein skin at droplet surface during drying, whereas a high solids fraction in the droplets could limit possible droplet shrinkage. These factors contributed positively to the encapsulation of the lipophilic core material.
