Purpose of the article: to determine the essence of different elements ofsocio-economic space of the region. Construction of the structure and isolationof individual elements of socio-economic space as a multi-vector formation.This article highlights the essence and different approaches to defining theconcepts, structure and mechanisms of formation of economic and social spacesof the region, innovation space as a basic element of socio-economic space.Research Methods: The methodological basis of the research is the fundamentalprinciples of economic theory, regional economy, scientific views and approachesof foreign and domestic scientists. To achieve the purpose of the study, themethods used at the empirical and theoretical levels were used: axiomatic,abstract, system-structural analysis, analogies and comparisons, graphoanalytic,by which the characterization of the nature of the concepts of space, socioeconomic space, as well as innovation space region. Their general properties,structure and functions are described.The criteria of optimality and balancesof interests in the formation of different types of space in the region areconsidered. The classification of the regional space is proposed, and the networkconnections of the innovation space according to components and elements arerevealed, which allows to study deeply the social, economic and other problemsof development of the region.Scientific novelty: the classification of regionalspace by separate constituent elements is proposed. The concept of “innovationspace” was introduced into scientific circulation, the scheme of networkconnections of the innovation space with other elements of the regional socioeconomic space was developed. Conclusions and Prospects for Further Research:In today’s context, it is possible to significantly improve the economic stateof development of Ukrainian regions by using a scientifically sound andcomprehensive approach to defining and studying the concepts of socioeconomic and innovative space.In the further study it is necessary to considerin detail the mechanism of organizational activity of innovation space in theregion. It is very important to pay attention to information support for theformation of the innovation space, the creation of a regional legal field ofinnovation space, mechanisms for coordinating regional innovation activitieswithin the innovation space, as well as the influence of internal and externalfactors on the formation and development of the innovation space.

Introduction : A chronic condition like diabetes interferes with an individual's well-being, and if some of their needs are not met because of the disease, their quality of life is reduced. In this context, therapeutic education constitutes a basic element in the management of diabetes.Materials and Methods : A cross-sectional study by self-administered questionnaire and interviews which were carried out with all type 1 and type 2 diabetics, consultants at the level of the Tit Mélil Primary Health Care establishment, in 2019 and who benefited from or not therapeutic education, with or without complications.Result : The study included 50 diabetic patients, surveys show us that type 1 diabetic patients were 13 (26%). And type 2.37 (74%). Regarding the organization of care, 74% of patients say they are under treatment with oral antidiabetics, 10% oral antidiabetics and insulins, 6% insulin therapy and others under diet. Speaking of Food, 76.5% of diabetics know the importance and know what foods to avoid.Conclusion : TVE is possible, it will result in a change in the structure of programs and new educational training for caregivers.

Railway bogie is the basic element that determines the force, kinematic, power and other parameters of the rolling stock, and its movement in the railway track has not been studied enough. Classical calculation of the kinematic and dynamic parameters of the bogie's motion with the determination of the position of its center of rotation, the instantaneous axes of rotation of wheelsets, the magnitudes and directions of all forces present a difficult problem even in quasi-static theory. The paper shows a simplified method that allows one to explain, within the limits of one article, the main kinematic and force parameters of the bogie movement (installation angles, clearance between the wheel flanges and side surfaces of the rails), wear and contact damage to the wheels and rails. Tribology of the railway bogie is an important part of transport tribology, the foundation of the theory of wheel-rail tribosystem, without which it is impossible to understand the mechanisms of catastrophic wear, derailments, contact fatigue, cohesion of wheels and rails. In the article basic questions are considered, without which it is impossible to analyze the movement of the bogie: physical foundations of wheel movement along the rail, types of relative motion of contacting bodies, tribological characteristics linking the force and kinematic parameters of the bogie. Kinematics and dynamics of a two-wheeled bogie-rail bicycle are analyzed instead of a single wheel and a wheelset, which makes it clearer and easier to explain how and what forces act on the bogie and how they affect on its position in the rail track. To calculate the motion parameters of a four-wheeled bogie, it is represented as two two-wheeled, moving each on its own rail. Connections between them are replaced by moments with respect to the point of contact between the flange of the guide wheel and the rail. This approach made it possible to give an approximate estimation of the main kinematic and force parameters of the motion of an ideal bogie (without axes skewing) in curves, to understand how the corners of the bogie installation and the gaps between the flanges of the wheels and rails vary when moving with different speeds, how wear and contact injuries arise and to give recommendations for their assessment and elimination.

AbstractA fundamental scientific question concerns the neural basis of perceptual consciousness and perceptual monitoring resulting from the processing of sensory events. Although recent studies identified neurons reflecting stimulus visibility, their functional role remains unknown. Here, we show that perceptual consciousness and monitoring involve evidence accumulation. We recorded single-neuron activity in a participant with a microelectrode in the posterior parietal cortex, while they detected vibrotactile stimuli around detection threshold and provided confidence estimates. We find that detected stimuli elicited neuronal responses resembling evidence accumulation during decision-making, irrespective of motor confounds or task demands. We generalize these findings in healthy volunteers using electroencephalography. Behavioral and neural responses are reproduced with a computational model considering a stimulus as detected if accumulated evidence reaches a bound, and confidence as the distance between maximal evidence and that bound. We conclude that gradual changes in neuronal dynamics during evidence accumulation relates to perceptual consciousness and perceptual monitoring in humans.

In this work, using the first-principle density functional theory (DFT) method, we study the properties of a new material based on pillared graphene and the icosahedral clusters of boron B12 as a supercapacitor electrode material. The new composite material demonstrates a high specific quantum capacitance, specific charge density, and a negative value of heat of formation, which indicates its efficiency. It is shown that the density of electronic states increases during the addition of clusters, which predictably leads to an increase in the electrode conductivity. We predict that the use of a composite based on pillared graphene and boron will increase the efficiency of existing supercapacitors.

Occasional references to the old radical teaching that “all politics is local” notwithstanding, American political scientists have by and large treated the study of local politics as a subject of much lesser importance than national politics. The standard introductory course in “American democracy” has a national focus—often it is exclusively national. Briefly, in the late 1960s and early 1970s, the study of “urban politics” occupied a more prominent place in the discipline, but interest has waned. The priority concern in both teaching and research continues to be American national government and politics.This narrow focus leads to a distorted and truncated view of American democracy. Despite increased nationalization, state and local government has been and remains a basic element in the practice of American politics. The productivity and creativity of democracy in America are outcomes, not simply of a national political process, but of a complex system of governance in which local collective action provides much of the energy and initiative for addressing public problems. A vast amount of political activity in the United States is channeled through state and local institutions, where much of the work of public problem solving is done.

AbstractAn important region of the electromagnetic spectrum for astrophysics is the hard X- and gamma ray band between 10 keV and a few MeV, where several processes occur in a wide variety of objects and with different spatial distribution and time scales. In order to fulfill the observational requirements in this energy range and taking into account the opportunities given by small/medium size missions (e.g. on the ISS), we have proposed a compact, wide field camera based on a thick (1 cm) position sensitive CdTe detector (PSD). The detector is made of an array of 128×96 CdTe microspectrometers with a pixel size of 2×2 mm2. The basic element of the PSD is the linear module that is an independent detection unit with 32 CdTe crystals and monolithic front-electronics (ASIC) supported by a thin (300 μm) ceramic layer. The expected performance of the PSD over the operative energy range and some of the required ASIC functionality are presented and discussed.
