Cold welding refers to an effect related to space (vacuum). The heavy vibrations during a launch subject interfaces (hold down points) to oscillating motions which may lead to formation of a kind of “friction weld”. If so, these mechanisms may get stuck, and deployment will be hindered. This may endanger the functionality of the mission (instruments) or even the whole spacecraft (if solar panels do not open). Several studies have been done to characterize material combinations (including coatings) for their ability to cold welding in space. Meanwhile, also during launch grease free contacts are demanded. If grease hat to be omitted, the risk of cold welding under fretting was found to increase (when testing in high vacuum). To rate this risk under launch conditions, the test method was recently extended for testing under launch conditions. The new tests procedure consists of fretting applied in the sequence in air, low vacuum and high vacuum. The paper shall present first results gained with this new method of testing in launch conditions and compare them to previous studies done in vacuum. Following the need of space industry on mechanisms for launch and in-orbit life, a first set of combinations of materials and coatings were selected for this new test sequence where fretting is now applied in a sequence of air, low vacuum and high vacuum. Under this sequence, the measured levels of adhesion and it’s evolvement was found to differ strongly from tests done formerly. The paper outlines these first results and compares them to existing data.

Lubricating space mechanisms are a challenge. Lubrication must be sustained in different environments, for a very long period of time, and without any maintenance possible. This study focuses on the self-lubricating composite used in the double transfer lubrication of ball bearing. Ball/races contacts are lubricated via the transfer of materials from the cage that is made of the composite. A dedicated tribometer has been designed for the study. A specificity of the tribometer is to not fully constrain the composite sample but to let it move, as the cage would do in the bearing. Four composites (PTFE, MoS2, glass or mineral fibers) where tested in ultrahigh vacuum and humid air environments. Transfer was achieved with morphologies and composition similar to what is observed on real bearings. Adhesion measurements performed on composite materials before and after friction allowed one to explain the differences in tribological behaviors observed (transfer quality and contact instabilities). Beyond strengthening the composites, fibers are shown to be critical in trapping mechanically and chemically the transferred material to lubricate and prevent instabilities. Equilibrium between internal cohesion of transferred material, and adhesion to counterparts must be satisfied. Mass spectrometry showed that water appears also critical in the establishment of stable transfer film, even in vacuum.

Research background: Commercial real estate segments have reacted differently to the effects of the coronavirus pandemic, announced early last year. Thus, the greatest interest is represented by commercial, service and warehouse real estate. The retail segment seriously felt the restrictions in the work of retail and service enterprises from March to July 2020 – due to the rotation of operators, the departure of many players from the market, the vacancy rate of space increased, the average rental rate decreased due to the revision of lease agreements. Warehouse real estate, on the contrary, has received incentives for development due to a twofold increase in online trade in Russia – the vacancy rate in the most high-quality areas tends to 0-2%, the average rental rate is growing rapidly. Purpose of the article: to analyze the commercial real estate market in the context of retail and warehouse real estate in the regions of Russia and St. Petersburg, to develop mechanisms to increase their competitiveness in the postcovid period. Methods: description, comparison, analogy, generalization and correlation and regression analysis. Findings & Value added: there is a high dependence of the current state of retail and warehouse real estate on the growing volumes of online trade, which causes certain trends: the growth of the shortage of warehouse space and the increase in the vacancy rate of retail space-mechanisms have been developed to increase the competitiveness of commercial real estate operators in St. Petersburg and the regions

The implementation technologies of power inequalities are actively used by governments of countries that position themselves as guarantors of world order, international clubs and organizations, within the framework of integration associations. Because of this, the practical side of the question is the need to develop “response reactions” and protection mechanisms built into the national security system. The article deals with the existing technology information and psychological impact and justified tactic to delegitimize information influence.

Purpose of the article: to determine the essence of different elements ofsocio-economic space of the region. Construction of the structure and isolationof individual elements of socio-economic space as a multi-vector formation. This article highlights the essence and different approaches to defining theconcepts, structure and mechanisms of formation of economic and social spacesof the region, innovation space as a basic element of socio-economic space.Research Methods: The methodological basis of the research is the fundamentalprinciples of economic theory, regional economy, scientific views and approachesof foreign and domestic scientists. To achieve the purpose of the study, themethods used at the empirical and theoretical levels were used: axiomatic, abstract, system-structural analysis, analogies and comparisons, graphoanalytic,by which the characterization of the nature of the concepts of space, socioeconomic space, as well as innovation space region. Their general properties, structure and functions are described. The criteria of optimality and balancesof interests in the formation of different types of space in the region areconsidered. The classification of the regional space is proposed, and the networkconnections of the innovation space according to components and elements arerevealed, which allows to study deeply the social, economic and other problemsof development of the region.Scientific novelty: the classification of regionalspace by separate constituent elements is proposed. The concept of “innovationspace” was introduced into scientific circulation, the scheme of networkconnections of the innovation space with other elements of the regional socioeconomic space was developed. Conclusions and Prospects for Further Research:In today’s context, it is possible to significantly improve the economic stateof development of Ukrainian regions by using a scientifically sound andcomprehensive approach to defining and studying the concepts of socioeconomic and innovative space. In the further study it is necessary to considerin detail the mechanism of organizational activity of innovation space in theregion. It is very important to pay attention to information support for theformation of the innovation space, the creation of a regional legal field ofinnovation space, mechanisms for coordinating regional innovation activitieswithin the innovation space, as well as the influence of internal and externalfactors on the formation and development of the innovation space.

Today, robots are increasingly present in the machine building industry, sometimes even in some sections to replace workers altogether, due to the high quality of their work, repetitive, without stopping or pausing, without any manufacturing and assembly scuffs. In this paper, one presents the mechanisms with bars and gears, which are planetary mechanisms for robot automation and mechatronics, structurally-topological. The gears and bars consist of at least one movable articulated bar and one of the cylindrical, tapered or hipoidal gears. Only gears with circular or straight toothed gears, in which the relative position of the rotation or translation axes does not change, shall be considered. The topological structure of the gears and gears is characterized by a kinematic chain with articulated bars and at least one kinematic chain with gears. The kinematic chain may be chain open (with a fixed rotation joint) or closed chain (with at least two fixed joints). The kinematic chain with gears is attached to the kinematic chain with bars so that at least two gear wheels have centers in the bars of the bars and some wheels may be integral with the bars. In practice, some of these gears with gears and gears are known as planetary gears with cylindrical, conical or hipoidal gears.
