When identifying the enterprise database data information, the enterprise database operational dimension measurement platform based on the bilinear method will produce ringing or overshoot effect, the database data monitoring effect is poor as well as the accuracy of operation measurement. To solve this problem, this paper proposes a method to build an enterprise level database operation and maintenance measurement platform based on bidirectional coupling algorithm. Build enterprise database operation measurement platform. The enterprise database monitoring platform is connected with the monitoring database by remote database chain. The Oracle database job scheduling method is used to obtain the monitoring index information in the monitored database, and the database memory performance is comprehensively evaluated by MPI (Memory Perform Index). The platform uses semantic capture layer and related analysis layer to distinguish user behavior, analyze user experience satisfaction, and realize the operation measurement of enterprise level database. The experimental results show that the operational measurement platform built by this method has high throughput, low memory occupancy rate, high measurement accuracy and good user experience.

The Scripting languages (mostly JavaScript) applications in the network are heavily used to improve the user experience now. The trends make XSS (Cross-site Scripting Attacks) the most serious security problems in the current Internet. A XSS defensive scheme based on behavior certification is proposed in the paper. The website behavior model is generated based on the website logic and the user behavior. The browsing behavior certification is implemented based on the expected behavior of the resulting model, so as to offer security for the client even in the case that web server has suffered XSS attacks.

User experience plays an indispensable role in intelligent product design. Building a system for user research, capturing firsthand information from users and turning insights into achievable product design solutions is the key to innovation. This article introduces service design into product design and studies the design cue construction method through intelligent product design case. First, the authors capture customer touchpoints in the process of user interaction with the product by observing the user behavior and perform the correlation analysis of the customer touchpoint to obtain the user’s complaints and dissatisfaction. Second, the authors use positive creation theory to transform requirements and turn the complaints collected in user research into achievable functional requirements. Third, the authors use the KANO model for sensitivity analysis of functional requirements and select high-sensitivity requirements for priority development. Finally, using the service design innovation methods to analyze the user experience and stakeholders, the design cue map can be exported, and a new service system was established to enhance the overall user experience.

Media organizations deliver news services online employing various design techniques and technologies to make services useful, usable, and effective for news consumers. How people use news services, their perceptions of them, and how their design impacts the user experience (UX) is an important area of study. In this chapter, the authors examine service design, UX, and related research methodologies and their importance for online news. Additionally, they report on a study that examined how the type of news provider (TV versus newspaper) and associated services affected user behavior and perception of the user experience. Participants perceived news websites differently based on the type of news provider and their interactions with services differed based on type of provider. The findings have implication for the UX research, specifically UX related to online news.

Interactive environments create endless possibilities for the design of websites, games, online platforms, and mobile applications. Their visual aspects and functional characteristics influence the user experience. Depending on the project, the purpose of the environment can be oriented toward marketing targets, user experience, or accessibility. Often, these conflicting aspects should be integrated within a single project, and a search for trade-offs is needed. One of these conflicts involves a disparity in user behavior concerning declared preferences and real observed activity in terms of visual attention. Taking into account accessibility guidelines (WCAG) further complicates the problem. In our study, we focused on the analysis of color combinations and their contrast in terms of user-friendliness; visual intensity, which is important for attracting user attention; and recommendations from the Web Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). We took up the challenge to reduce the disparity between user preferences and WCAG contrast, on one hand, and user natural behavior registered with an eye-tracker, on the other. However, we left the choice of what is more important—human conscious reaction or objective user behavior results—to the designer. The former corresponds to user-friendliness, while the latter, visual intensity, is consistent with marketing expectations. The results show that the ranking of visual objects characterized by different levels of contrast differs when considering the perspectives of user experience, commercial goals, and objective recording. We also propose an interactive tool with the possibility of assigning weights to each criterion to generate a ranking of objects.

Effective optimization is essential for interactive systems to provide a satisfactory user experience. However, it is often challenging to find an objective to optimize for. Generally, such objectives are manually crafted and rarely capture complex user needs in an accurate manner. We propose to infer the objective directly from observed user interactions. These inferences can be made regardless of prior knowledge and across different types of user behavior. It is promising if we model the objectives directly from the user interactions which we use to optimize interactive systems, which will improve user experience and dynamically reacts to user actions.

An experiment was conducted to study user behavior while entering data in two different locations on a visual display (VDT) screen. Sixteen subjects (eight experienced and eight novice VDT users) performed a data entry task which emphasized screen-keyboard interaction. The entry area was placed either at the top (line 2) or bottom (line 23) of the display, with trials blocked for a given condition. Statistically significant differences were obtained for three anthropometric measures and one time measure on main effects of line location and user experience level. Although significant differences in absolute measures were found, both user groups show the same proportionate improvement when the command line is presented at the bottom, compared with when it is at the top.
