Currently, the demand for stone construction materials in Lao PDR to serve industrial and traffic works is very large. Currently, the management of mining activities at limestone quarries in Lao PDR is facing many difficulties due to the existence of many types of mines, mining technologies, and equipment. The occupational safety and environmental protection used at the limestone quarries have not been paid due attention. The loss and waste of natural resources are increasing. In particular, labor accidents caused by unsafe drilling and blasting activities often occur at the limestone quarries of construction materials in all provinces of this country. The article analysed the current situation of drilling and blasting activities at the limestone quarries of construction materials of Lao PDR, thereby proposed a method to assess risks and unsafety in drilling and blasting activities at the limestone quarries for mining the construction materials to improve the efficiency of the mining management and safety in Lao PDR.

Water is the common thread and attraction factor of the tourism facilities called “spas”, which are part of health and beauty services. Spa use is currently experiencing a boom that reflects changes in populations, such as an increase in economic wellbeing and a desire to reunite with nature. This research’s objectives were to understand spa tourism’s structural and operational dimensions and to assess this sector’s current situation by using the Delphi method with a panel of 22 experts. The results show that these experts believe that, in Andalusia, spas energize the area as a tourism destination through their natural resources and conservation of key elements. However, spa development policies are scarce, including a lack of autonomous community laws regarding these facilities.

Introduction. The processes of globalization and social transformation have made environmen-tal conservation a priority, and therefore require some action to be taken to address environ-mental issues and the rational use of natural resources. The solution of the existing problems depends to a great extent on the functioning efficiency of the financial security system established in the country, the established composition and the volume of financing sources and certain directions of their use, which necessitates their scientific-based analysis. The purpose of the study is to investigate the state of financing environmental measures in Ukraine, to study the directions, dynamics and structure of costs for environmental protection, identifying features of financing environmental protection. Results. The comprehensive analysis of the dynamics of costs for environmental protection and rational use of natural resources is carried out. The main components of environmental expenditures are identified. Costs for environmental protection and rational use of natural resources by financing sources have been structured. The dynamics and structure of capital investments by nature conservation measures are investigated. The dynamics of the share of expenditures for environmental protection and rational use of natural resources in the GDP of Ukraine, as well as the share of capital investments (environmental) in the structure of capital investments of Ukraine are analyzed. The features of the current state of financing environmental protection and rational use of natural resources are highlighted. Conclusions. The results of the research made it possible to identify the main problems in the field of financial support for environmental protection and to outline the ways of their solution. The necessity of investments mobilization into nature protection activity is proved through development of appropriate means of economic stimulation and their legislative fixing, which will allow to solve the problem of financial support of environmental protection by diversification of financing sources. Keywords: costs for environmental protection, environmental activities, environmental measures, recurrent costs, capital investments, cost structure, financial support.

In view of growing threats in this respect, the protection of natural resources is undoubtedly becoming a serious challenge, both for the state and for each citizen. Therefore, this article is supposed to draw attention to the problem of searching for optimal instruments for the protection of these resources. This is about creating and developing appropriate standards in legal regulations regarding environmental protection, protection of nature, water, air, national and landscape parks, nature monuments, etc. as well as protection of natural resources in cities and human settlements. Undoubtedly, spatial planning is of paramount significance in this matter, in particular local spatial development plans and the appropriate instruments of action resulting from them. Their significance should be considered particularly important because they are generally applicable law as acts of local law.

South America’s territorial arrangement – a big country surrounded by smaller ones – is clarified by historical factors, as due to the fact that Brazil has become a viceroyalty. The Royal family’s presence in the colony would have favoured its integrity. Normally, the geographic factors are neglected in this explanation, especially those related to natural resources as physical aspects of the landscape. Here we intend to fill this thematic gap applying the geographic facts to the explanatory analysis of the South-American territory. Methodologically, the comparative analysis between The Spanish America and the Portuguese was conducted by two variables: the nature of the explored natural resources and the physical features of the territory. Our main idea is founded on four premises: 1 –Moving through the territory as a condition to assure domination. 2 - Biomass natural resources lead to farther moving. 3 - Considering that mining activities are local they beget urban development and consequently became a fertile ground for revolutionary movements. 4 – Flat relief, large rivers and mild temperatures encourage the development of farming activities and therefore the occupation of territory. We conclude that the combination of these variables and premises may throw new light on comprehending South America’s territorial arrangement

Abstract Civilization is a state of human society during a particular period of time, conditioned with the degree to which the humans are able to control the nature; the total of already collected material goods, means of production and exploitation, suitable skills (know-how), and social institutions. It is processes of exploitation of engineered objects and natural resources of the Earth that closely and directly relate the economy, safety (widely understood) and environmental protection. Nowadays, as the development of technology has become a hectic process, too little attention is paid to safety. People die. The above outlined considerations can be summarized in the form of the following conclusion: Exploitation is an area that covers the art of many and various activities. It is a philosophy that puts all the fields of knowledge together. Therefore, it should be considered a separate line of science.
