In the current pandemic period, some activities of the work program cannot be carried out properly, there are even some activities cannot be carried out. Special school institutions as a forum for education services for children with special needs, need to make changes and improve work programs. The institution work program needs to improve to achieve an institution's vision and mission. It is necessary to change the work program through a more focused program planning. This research aims to formulate a strategic plan contained in the work program of special schools. This study uses a qualitative method with SWOT analysis. This research essential the current condition of private special school X, namely by compiling strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. To obtain current condition information from the institution, involving school supervisors, principals, teachers, and school committees by teleconference. Before analysing the current condition data of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats conducted the validity and reliability test by using Smart-structural equation modelling. From the classification results, the institution's position quadrant will be identified to obtain the institution's strategic planning work program will be obtained from this quadrant. The research results state the institution's position was in the 3rd quadrant that means institutions must develop strategic planning institutions by minimizing weaknesses to reduce threats to the institution. Special school headmasters can arrange programs based on strategic planning with horizontal and vertical coordination to achieve their goals on time according to the work program plan. <p> </p><p><strong> Article visualizations:</strong></p><p><img src="/-counters-/edu_01/0790/a.php" alt="Hit counter" /></p>

Extension education is considered an essential component of improving agricultural sustainability by diffusing innovations that increase crop yield and alleviate poverty in Guinea, Africa. To accomplish learning outcomes, extension agents must be confident and competent in their instructional abilities. This is achieved by self-evaluation of their training needs. The objective of this quantitative research was to conduct a needs assessment with leaders of the Farmer-to-Farmer educational program to identify their training needs. A purposive sample of thirteen higher-education leaders of the Farmer-to-Farmer program were asked to identify their educational needs and prioritize items contributing to the knowledge gap following their participation in a ten-day training. The Borich Needs Assessment Model was used to calculate the mean weighted discrepancy score (MWDS) of all items. The top five content areas with the greatest reported needs were: Power Point presentations (MWDS = 5.72), teaching financial management (MWDS = 5.51), using SWOT analysis (MWDS = 4.5), teaching marketing concepts (MWDS = 4.36) and incorporating stakeholders (MWDS = 4.35). Following a Pre/Post-Test, the top five content knowledge improvement areas and percent increase in reported knowledge were utilizing strategic planning (176%), using Borich (1970) for program needs assessment (153%), using SWOT analysis (122%), analyzing external influences in educational programs (115%) and strategies to conduct farm trials (67%). Respondents reported increased confidence in seeking stakeholder needs and building resources to increase program value. The results have implications to build education equity and sustainability in Guinea. The Medium Term Work Plan (MTWP) in its preparation involves school supervisors, principals, school committees, teachers and other components involved in the school environment of SMAN 1 Pagaden. The purpose of preparing this MTWP is as a framework for all components at SMAN 1 Pagaden in four years. MTWP at SMAN 1 Pagaden is an effort to improve the quality of education such as curriculum development and improvement of advice and infrastructure, learning tools, management improvements, school funding and sources of funds, graduation standards, assessment systems and the role of school committees. Efforts to improve these things are by compiling the MTWP program for the period 2021-2025. This research was conducted to improve the performance or achievement of the work program of SMAN 1 Pagaden in period 2021–2025. This research was conducted at SMAN 1 Pagaden, Subang Regency, which took place from January to April 2021. The data was processed using the quality reports application published by the West Java education quality assurance institute as a measure of the achievement of the work program in the previous year. The data is processed and analyzed using the description method. The remedial/enrichment program so far has not been effective, it still uses the effective hours of teaching and learning. Improvements to the remedial/enrichment program aim to improve the quality of learning, with higher learning achievement expected to have an impact on the standard chart of content so that it can go to the national education standard 4 category. Strengthening remedial and enrichment programs can be optimized through the use of school operational assistance funds.

This study introduces the Schoolwork Engagement Inventory (EDA), which measures energy, dedication, and absorption with respect to schoolwork. Structural equation modeling was used to assess the validity and reliability of the inventory among students attending postcomprehensive schools. A total of 1,530 (769 girls, 761 boys) students from 13 institutions (six upper-secondary and seven vocational schools) completed the EDA 1 year apart. The results showed that a one-factor solution had the most reliability and fitted best among the younger students, whereas a three-factor solution was most reliable and fit best among the older students. In terms of concurrent validity, depressive symptoms and school burnout were inversely related, and self-esteem and academic achievement were positively associated with EDA. Boys and upper-secondary-school students experienced lower levels of schoolwork engagement than girls and vocational-school students.

The dramatic growth of online education over the past two decades is requiring colleges to make a shift from fragmented approaches to program planning and implementation towards a framework integrating both into a coherent support system. This article provides an overview of an emerging holistic framework for planning and implementation of online programs calling for shared strategic planning needs assessment strategies, and establishing program consensus. Guided by a program vision, curriculum and instructional strategies are identified along with internal and external supports needed for successful implementation. The framework suggests demand-driven strategic planning, benchmarking approaches to implementation practices, and interactive feedback to ensure effective program planning and implementation.

A computer-controlled facility is tested which operationalizes magnitude scaling (psychophysics) directly over a CRT screen. The author reports experimental findings comparing magnitude scaling with rating scales as attitude measures of advertisements and erotic pictures. Also, validity and reliability are examined by means of the structural equation approach. On the basis of the level of reliability and the degree of convergent/discriminant validity, magnitude scaling appears to be a valid and reliable alternative to rating scales.

ABSTRACT The purpose of this study is to discuss and analyze the Effect of Competence, Motivation and Teacher Performance and School Facilities on Student Success in Studying Knowledge Through the Learning Process at the Ar-Ridho Development Foundation, Depok City           Methods and Types of data in this study, are quantitative data obtained through the results of a survey of students. This study uses primary data that is data obtained directly from respondents who filled out and developed the questionnaire through the Learning Process at the Ar-Ridho Development Foundation, Depok City. With a student population of approximately 1,508 students. The sample of this study was 125 students and alumni. Test the validity and reliability using SPSS 24.0. The statistical method used to test the hypothesis in this study uses the multivariate Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) technique with the software used is AMOS 18.           The results of the research and testing of hypotheses that have a significant effect are as follows: 1. Teacher competence has no significant effect on the learning process. 2. Motivation does not significantly influence the learning process. 3. Teacher performance has a significant effect on the learning process. 4. Facilities have a significant effect on the learning process. 5. Competence does not significantly influence student success. 6. Motivation does not significantly influence student success. 7. Teacher performance does not significantly influence student success. 8. Facilities have a significant positive effect on student success. 9. The learning process has a significant effect on student success. Festinger’s (1) hypothesis cites belief as a variable that influences selective exposure. However, a review of other experts’ research proves that selective exposure is not only affected by the psychological aspect but by the message and the social aspect as well. In contrast to previous scholars who focused only on one variable, the researcher examines belief, utility of information, and group support simultaneously and integrates them into a model. The research design is a case study involving the use of pornographic information. This study’s subjects comprise 400 senior high school students in Jakarta, Indonesia. The relationships among the variables were tested by using structural equation modeling. The validity and reliability analyses utilized the LISREL 8.80 application. A questionnaire with a Likert-scale model was used as the data collection method. The structural test results show that the theoretical models for the three variables have a significant effect on selective exposure (t value ≥ 1.96). On the other hand, the findings also prove that communication in the context of selective information on pornography is divided into three levels. First, at the intrapersonal level, the individual holds on to his or her belief in selecting the information. Second, at the interpersonal or group level, the individual adjusts his or her belief to the existing reality (environment or social group). Third, at the mass communication level, the individual selects the information according to its utility, that is, to fulfill the need for information.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the influence of internal and external factors of SNOWA Corporation on its marketing strategic planning. Is there a relationship between internal and external factors and strategic marketing planning? How severe is this relationship? Design/methodology/approach The present study is an applied research using a descriptive-analytic method. The statistical sample of this research includes 300 personnel of SNOWA Corporation. Data were collected applying a standard questionnaire in a five-point Likert scale. Content validity ratio and content validity index were used to evaluate the content validity of the questionnaire, and a Cronbach’s alpha test was applied to assess its reliability. SPSS Software (factor analysis) and Amos Software (structural equation modeling) were applied to analyze the collected data. Results of this research show that internal and external factors influence the development of its marketing strategic planning. Findings Results of this research show that internal and external factors influence the development of SNOWA marketing strategic planning. Another result of this study is that the severity of the relationship between the independent and dependent variables varies from the viewpoint of the employees of different departments. Practical implications The study will help managers deal with environmental opportunities effectively while formulating corporation strategies. In addition, findings reveal that having vision and mission help managers find a clear way to reach the goals. Originality value This is one of a few papers to provide empirical evidence of the influence of internal and external factors of SNOWA Corporation on its marketing strategic planning. Identification of the external-internal factors used in formulating marketing strategic planning may prove useful for other researchers working in this under-researched area.

A cooperation between states in criminal cases is carried out in order to achieve the goals of justice and may exist at the stage of pre-trial investigation, trial, as well as after the entry into force of a court decision (sentence, ruling). Forms of international cooperation in the investigation of criminal cases are quite diverse. The main ones are: providing legal assistance, which consists in carrying out procedural actions, because during the investigation and trial of criminal cases there is often a need to gather evidence abroad by questioning defendants, victims, witnesses, experts, conducting searches, examinations, court inspections, seizure and transfer of items, delivery, and forwarding of documents, etc.; extradition of persons for criminal prosecution or for the execution of a court sentence; arrest, search and confiscation of proceeds of crime (states undertake to cooperate in the investigation of money laundering; assist in the investigation and take appropriate measures: to freeze bank accounts, seize property to prevent its concealment; confiscate proceeds of crime or property, value of which corresponds to the value of income, etc.). The normative basis for the international cooperation in the investigation of criminal cases is the European Convention on Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters dated April 20, 1959; the Criminal procedural code of Ukraine; Methodical recommendations of the General Prosecutor’s Office of Ukraine; Order No. 223 “On the organization of the work of the Prosecutor’s Office of Ukraine in the field of international legal cooperation” dated September 18, 2015. The legal basis for international cooperation in criminal matters is the current bilateral and multilateral international treaties of Ukraine, the binding nature of which has been approved by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. Among the multilateral international agreements, there should be noted the European conventions on criminal justice: the European Convention on the Extradition with two additional protocols to it, the European Convention on Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters with an additional protocol to it, the European Convention on the Transfer of Proceedings in Criminal Matters, The Convention on the Transfer of Sentenced Persons with an additional protocol, The European Convention on the Supervision of Conditionally Sentenced or Conditionally Released Offenders, the Convention on Laundering, Search, Seizure, and Confiscation of the Proceeds from Crime and the European Convention on the International Validity of Criminal Judgements. In addition, the Commonwealth of Independent States has the 1993 Convention on Legal Assistance and Legal Relations in Civil, Family and Criminal Matters and its 1997 Protocol; within the framework of the United Nations, there is the Convention on Transnational Crime of 2000, together with two Protocols thereto. These multilateral international agreements establish a uniform sphere of cooperation between law enforcement and judicial authorities in relation to all European countries. Today, the most effective is the method of “SWOT-analysis”, which is currently recognized in the scientific community as one of the most popular tools in strategic planning of social processes, including in the investigation of criminal cases. Although the type of analysis is still considered by most scientists as Bohomolova Ye., (2004) a method of marketing research of enterprises in the market in the context of business practice, the object of “SWOT-analysis” can be as legislation, the practice of its application and prospects of their improvement, and materials of criminal cases. Methodology. Achieving the purpose of this publication is ensured by the use of cognitive philosophical, general scientific and special methods, among which the main are analysis and synthesis, comparative law method, which allow to identify prospects for the use in criminal cases of the method of “SWOT-analysis”, which is currently recognized in the scientific community as one of the most popular tools in strategic planning of social processes. Methods of grammatical review and interpretation of legal norms have helped to identify gaps in the legislation governing the investigation of criminal cases, in particular in the field of economics, and to develop proposals for its improvement. Practical importance. International cooperation in criminal proceedings is an organizationally complex process, which requires the use of effective and efficient methods to perform the tasks of criminal proceedings, respect for the rights and freedoms of all participants in the process, including not violating a reasonable time in the investigation. To date, science has developed many methods of analyzing the law, the practice of their application, and identifying ways to improve legislation, taking into account the results of forecasting the prospects for society and the state. To ensure a high level of quality of criminal investigations in the framework of international cooperation, it is necessary to choose the one that will give the most effective results and allow to formulate the most optimal proposals in a particular criminal case and the practice of their application. An attempt to solve this problem is presented in this study.
